Chapter 98: ANXIETY
Chapter 98: Chapter 98: ANXIETY
"It’s goodbye, for now, guys. As you heard a while ago, we are home finally and my family is waiting for me inside. If I don’t get in, we might all get in trouble!" with a reluctant expression on her face, Zara informed her viewers.
[I guess we can’t hold you for long now.]
[At least thank you for being truthful with us. Now let’s keep our fingers crossed.]
[It’s been a good journey watching you, Princess. I wish you well.]
[Hoping to see you soon.]
[I won’t say goodbye because I know that you are coming back.]
[Love you and take care of yourself.]
[Pass our greetings to your family.]
[Take care.]
As she read the incoming comments, Zara felt too blessed to have met such lovely fans in her life.
"Thank you for the blessings, everyone. I will pass your greetings to everyone. Let’s meet each other again pretty soon. And love you always. From me, your princess, goodbye. At least for now!" she said her goodbyes before the screen went offline.
Seeing the screen darkening, she was baffled. Who had the screen go dark before she read the comments?
However, when she raised her head and spotted the guilty-looking Emma, she didn’t have to ask anymore. Wasn’t it in the open who was the culprit?
"Let’s head inside. Mother and father will probably scold me if they could!" she tiredly instructed as she closed her eyes.
It wasn’t like she was unhappy to return home, but the fact that she had to bid farewell to the people who had accompanied her in these past months; her feel sad.
Emma didn’t say a thing but took a look at Zara before she left silently, her expression unreadable.
[We are coming!] she sent a message from her tablet before sending another message to the driver in the car leading the entourage.

Zara was nervous as she felt the RV coming to a halt. With this stop, she knew that she was finally home. As soon as she got out of the RV, she would be coming face to face with people she hadn’t seen in a very long time.
As she sat on the bed letting Emma and Ava arrange her clothes, she kept thinking a lot.
How many people would be waiting for her?
Would her siblings be there for her and waiting?
Would their smiles be genuine or fake, trying to probe whether she was dying or not?
How many people would be happy for her because she returned?
How was she going to face her parents?
Zara’s thoughts were everywhere, and she couldn’t be blamed for that.
After not seeing her siblings for years and her parents for months, she was both nervous and awkward.
They haven’t interacted closely for a long time, so how could it be that easy?
Unfortunately, she didn’t have a choice. One way or the other, she still had to leave for the RV and face whoever was outside. And she was going to do it very bravely.
Who is she?
Wasn’t she the family’s princess, born to be spoiled and pampered by everyone?
Why be scared of meeting the people who could never harm her despite her misfortunate life?
If she was able to show her ungraceful side to the world, why be afraid of facing the people who had supported her to be where she is today?
With that in mind, Zara’s thoughts finally settled, and all worries dealt with.
"If we are done, let’s go. They should be waiting!" with an anticipatory smile on her face, she said to the two ladies who seemed to be procrastinating at finishing.
Surely when they heard her saying that, their hands began to move fast and within a short time, Zara was all ready to come out.
Meanwhile, outside, Lena stood next to her husband, clutching his hand tightly as she looked at the RV which her daughter was in.
The other cars were already gone and only that RV parked there without the signs of the door opening.
"Dear, do you think that daughter doesn’t want to get out to meet us?" Lena asked anxiously as she looked at her husband, whose expression was a bit unreadable.
Cade looked at his wife and patted her hand coaxingly. "Let’s give her time. She will come out!"
Standing behind the two were several familiar faces.
"Can you tell me why I am even here?" Selena asked with gritted teeth as she looked at her daughter, who seemed unfazed as she looked at the RV where that little jinx was.
Brexley looked at her mother and gave her a faint smile and said, "Mother. Don’t hold grudges for little kids. Just wear a big smile for me, okay?"
Selena glared at her daughter before scoffing and looking away.
A short distance from the two were Diana and her two daughters, Mitchel and Raize. The three were talking harmoniously, with smiles pasted on their faces.
A distance away from them were Ashely and Denzel. The two were silent, without uttering a single word to each other. However, they both looked very harmonious, which was very rare to see when it came to the two of them.
Behind the family members were the mansion servants. Everyone was dressed appropriately and all waiting for their Miss to come out and grace them.
And as for complaining about how it was taking ages for her to come out, they could only swallow that and waited patiently like their masters and mistresses.
As they all waited there for goodness how long, the door of the RV suddenly opened and everyone sucked their breaths, looking anxiously towards the door, and not wanting to miss anything.
The first person to get out of the RV was Ava, who came out with the wheelchair. Although Zara could stand up and walk, it wasn’t something that they could brag about. The last time she did that, she had to spend three days stuck on the bed because she had over it.
so, now, she didn’t dare relax and let Zara do whatever she wanted.
It would be her head on the platter if she did dare to do that.
