The Billionaire's Cursed Heiress -
Chapter 75: DOLL MUSEUM
Chapter 75: Chapter 75: DOLL MUSEUM
The public sale went so well that even Zara herself was quite amused by how the sales team had done it.
But when the lady in blue kept on complimenting her and giving her all the praise, a smug smile blossomed on her face and it made her fans and viewers go at her for the rest of the day.
With the sales team available to deal with the delivery of the produce, Zara’s job at the village was done. As for what the sales team was interested in doing after dealing with the produce from one village since there were still a few neighboring ones, that was no longer any of her concerns.
With everything sorted out, Zara left the village with a lot of goodies the villagers had given to her. Seeing a lot of things she received, she thought of her family.
Since she had exposed some tidbits about her family already online, she didn’t hesitate to get someone to send a package back home and some to her grandparents.
The day passed beautifully and at night before going to bed, Zara who was reminded about stories by that writer, logged into another account of hers, she had set aside for far too long and picked one of her best short stories and let the A.I. assistant read for her.
With the beautiful sky, stars shining in the sky, some cool breeze here and there, and a story to pass the time, it was beautiful.
If only the weather didn’t turn cold suddenly, then everything would be better. Unfortunately, winter was indeed approaching, so when it was around nine, Zara had to return to her RV.
One good thing about her health lately, she didn’t have to be forced to sleep early. So rather than sleeping, she instead picked a late-night drama she was following and forced all viewers to watch with her.
By the time the episode was done, Zara was already snoring softly, dead asleep in her dreamland, and the viewers having a field day on how Zara was capable of sleeping anywhere without even fearing the thousands of people who were watching her.
That night passed just like that.
.....
"I have been searching about it and honestly guys, I am quite fascinated. I just hope that I won’t come across anything scary. Having nightmares isn’t something that anyone loves!" Zara exaggeratedly said, with squinted eyes as her convoy made its way towards the doll museum.
[It is these kinds of places that I avoid the most.]
[It won’t be surprising to find a ghost there.]
[What if a spirit latches onto her and sucks her vitality?]
[I think we should just skip it.]
[I don’t want her to go.]
[I want to see what’s in there. I didn’t even know we have such a museum in our country.]
"I will have to wear a mask now. We can’t be certain of the surprises that await us inside!" Zara said grimly as her timid heart thumped with fear, praying fearlessly that she wouldn’t come across anything paranormal in there.
Zara feared for her life actually, but at the same time, her curiosity was way over the top. She had seen movies, and horror movies and nothing always goes right when dolls are involved. She had seen doll murderers before.
These nasty little stuffing, pretending to be all cute and then boom go on killing sprees.
Wasn’t it how Chuckie, that doll possessed by a serial and psychopathic killer, behaved?
But maybe that would happen, right? After all, that was a movie, and this was reality.
But just to be certain, Zara wore her oxygen mask. At least if something scared the hell out of her later, the mask would allow her to breathe. How embarrassing it would be to faint and be unconscious just because she was too scared to take a breath.
After getting geared up, Zara was ready to brace the visit to the museum.
[Hahaha, she is very sweet. I can see her forehead trickling with sweat.]
[She is scared and yet brave to go and see.]
[This is going to be fun.]
Zara had no clue what her viewers were talking about. All she knew was that she was about to enter the museum and see those dolls.
.....
’Damn! Where did they get such ugly and scary dolls as those?’ Zara cussed with a smile on her face as the person in charge of their visit calmly and slowly narrated the history of some popular dolls in the museum.
She was fond of dolls. She had a room filled with them, but who could tell her who was so brazen to sit down and make something so scary that even a child wouldn’t dare think to play with?
ZARA: Some of these .. um..... unique dolls are they for show or for artistic purposes?
Zara couldn’t help but ask that question as she looked at a scary version of Chuckie, with deep, scary scars all over her face and one hand missing. Seeing a doll that scary with a hook in hand, who would dare to buy such a scary thing?
When Emma translated what Zara had asked, the person in charge choked, obviously taken aback by the question.
He wasn’t expecting Zara to ask such a question.
"It’s mainly for artistic purposes. You know how there are different types of artists ....."
The woman began to blabber as she tried her best to make sure that Zara was on the same page as her.
After moving for a while, Zara forced Ava to stop in front of a boxed doll. She couldn’t help but look at it strangely, her eyes losing the glimmer they had before. Anyone who was looking at her could tell that there was something wrong.
[That doll looks pretty.]
[Alas, I have seen that one before. Damn, when they came out, I heard there were only 1,000 copies. They were so damn expensive and reselling one today, you can get rich.]
[Is it that expensive?]
[The doll maker passed on before they could be released. Heard that he was quite famous.]
[The doll comes with five different sets of clothes to change and some necessities. It’s more of a princess doll.]
[Then our princess should have one then!]
[She doesn’t look pretty good though.]
[What’s going on there?]
