Chapter 74: Chapter 74: UNTITLED

Thirty minutes later, Zara was busy chatting with her fans who were busy asking a lot of questions while Emma was busy showing the viewers the items that were found in the village when a deafening sound, a familiar sound of propellers moving, reached not only her ears but everyone who was around her.

[Heh, I think I am seeing ghosts.]

[Haha, poverty had truly limited you. Can’t you see those two helicopters hovering in the air?]

[Princess, is it possible to become your sister or husband?]

[...]

[...]

Upon reading the comments, Zara raised her head to look in the direction where the noise was coming from and surely two helicopters were in the air and seemed to be about to land on an open field a distance away from the village.

"Miss, they are here!" Ava exclaimed excitedly as she informed Zara.

That was the first time she had seen something like that. She had been with the Hansleys for years but seeing them using helicopters to collect watermelons, now that was a first.

"Um. Tell Emma to settle with them as soon as possible. They shouldn’t scrimp on my fans and take everything!" she instructed as she narrowed her eyes, thinking about how her family was capable of taking everything for themselves when let be.

"Okay. I will go and tell her. You don’t want to meet with them?"

Zara hurriedly shook her head. "No. I am cool."

Seeing Zara adamant about not going, Ava could only leave Zara, who was sitting under a huge shed with her tablet in hand and went to find Emma.

[Princess, do those two belong to your family?]

[Princess, will your family really not take everything?]

[I wanted to see what they look like closely.]

"Hehe, sorry, but you are stuck with me here. We won’t be going over there at all. So, let’s chill and talk," she said teasingly as she read the comments.

[Fine. We will talk and wait eagerly for the link to be pinned so that we can buy later.]

[What else can we do?]

[Princess, do you love reading?]

That last comment caught her attention.

"Um. I do love reading. What is it?" she responded as she clicked like on the comment.

[OMG! You responded to me!]

[Haha, I ... this might sound a bit overboard, but can you check my book?]

When she saw that, Zara’s brows rose up, her interest piqued. It wasn’t every day she got to see a writer. Her life was spent buried in books and it was through books she was able to accept the changes that happened to her.

If it weren’t for the fiction world, who knows when she would have given up her life?

"Oh! Do you have one? When can I find it?" she asked curiously, looking forward to reading what the writer was suggesting to her.

Seeing how the writer was adamant and wasn’t shy about telling her something like that in a public setting it meant that he or she might be a good writer at least.

[I have sent the link to your inbox. Please check it out and tell me your thoughts!]

"Okay, I will do so. If I like it, I will recommend it to my wonderful family here!" she said, smilingly.

Honestly, she didn’t mind advertising for other people. As long as she didn’t feel like she was being used, then she could do anything. But if she feels otherwise, now that would be an issue that she wouldn’t let go of easily.

While Zara and her fans were busy chatting, Emma met with the team leaders of the two groups that had been sent.

The two leaders were respectful and conveyed the instructions that they were told before setting off that day.

Emma listened attentively and could be seen nodding and speaking to the two. After talking for a while, Emma took the two to the village hall, where they met with the elders and had another discussion again. By the time they were done, the elders had smiles on their faces.

Through the screen, fans and Zara could see men dressed in black, with earpieces for communication, carrying sacks of watermelons, and other things.

[Princess, what is your family buying?]

"Not sure, but it should be good!"

[You better leave some for us!]

"Don’t worry, you won’t be forgotten!"

With the men carrying things to the helicopters, Emma made her way to where Zara was sitting and gave her a brief report.

"I just received a call that the sales team will be arriving shortly. They will be in charge of the public sale. So, we don’t have to worry about anything."

"Oh!" Zara was surprised when she heard that. She didn’t think that her mother would be so meticulous and gave her every team she wanted that day. "That’s good then. Just make sure that we leave something for the viewers. They are quite interested."

"Definitely, I have already talked about it," Emma assured Zara before she left once more.

With Emma gone, Zara’s attention returned to the screen once more.

"You heard it, folks. Just make sure you have enough data. I will continue updating you on the progress."

Zara played for a while in the village and when she saw the sales team arriving in SUVs, she left them for Emma to deal with.

Moments later, Emma brought a middle-aged woman clad in blue to the shed, who informed her of what the sales team was planning to do. Which was basically the sales lady informing the viewers of how the procedure would go and so forth.

After listening to her, Zara understood what was going to happen, and she didn’t find any difficulty in implanting it. Besides, she won’t be the one dealing with any tech problems. She had a team ready to put the commands into action.

As soon as the sales team was ready, the two helicopters were already in the air, and seeing the viewers grumbling because Zara didn’t bother to go there and check, Zara could only coax her fans, promising them that one day when she was better, she would bring them flying.

It was only then that the fans started concentrating on the public sale that was about to start in ten minutes.

The sales team provided Zara with a link that could only be accessible once the countdown was done. So, while everyone waited for that to happen, Zara didn’t forget to chat with the viewers.

Time quickly trickled by and shortly, the public sale was officially online.

Zara was curious about the public sale, but looking at the barrage was more fun than doing so.

[Damn! Whose fingers were so fast like that? The link just went online a few seconds ago and yet no more watermelons for me.]

[Hahaha, at least I snatched two big watermelons.]

[I saw corn and juice. Got that also!]

[Princess, everything is finished. Can we do it again?]

Looking at the crazy comments the viewers were sending, Zara burst into a peal of laughter.

"Hahaha, you guys, you are really .... There is nothing I can do actually for you. All I can do is applaud those who were lucky to get something as for the unfortunate ones, then next time, next time I hope you will get it!" she chuckled heartily, her eyes tearing up at the thought of how furious some of them were.

[OMG! She looks too pretty.]

[I bet she will look good when bullied.]

[I miss you, dear.]

[I have to learn to be fast.]

[Can someone tell me when the contest is starting? I already bought the needles and wool.]

[talking about that, have you guys already prepared?]

[Just waiting for the contest to start.]

Seeing the topic getting diverted, Zara heaved with relief. She didn’t want to be clamored by those who failed to buy anything.

"As soon as we are back on the road, we can start. For now, let’s enjoy the serenity of nature!"
