Chapter 30: Chapter 30: I MISS YOU

".... Nanana, nananana, I wish you were here ....."

She hummed to the song as she looked at the tablet’s screen kept on showing several photos after a ten-second interval.

"This looks good. I should visit there!" she muttered as the photos kept on coming.

"Shua," as she sat enjoying the photos while sitting on the bed, the door to the RV bedroom suddenly opened.

Zara lazily raised her head to see which of the two people had come this time. When she saw that it was Emma, she lowered her head and continued to look at the photos.

"Miss!" Emma softly called to her.

Zara raised her head once again and looked at the other with her blue eyes.

"Nanny, what is it?" she softly asked.

"We have reached City G. In thirty minutes, we will be arriving at the rented villa where we will be staying for the next couple of days," Emma informed Zara.

Upon hearing that, a twinkle appeared in Zara’s eyes.

"Really? That’s good then!" Zara was very happy when she heard that.

She had been on the road for a couple of days now. And apart from going outside for an hour for some fresh air and visiting that fabric shop, she hadn’t been out in like forever.

"Um. So just wait for a while. We will be there pretty soon!" Emma smilingly said upon seeing the joy on her miss’s face.

Of course, she didn’t dare tell her that the young master was already waiting for her. Since the young master wanted it to be a secret, she would oblige and let the siblings meet each other later.

She just hoped that there wouldn’t be a scene.

Emma excused herself, and shortly Zara was by herself.

The thought of arriving and resting somewhere else that wasn’t the RV. She was very happy. And to add more sweetness to the deal, she would be seeing her little brother soon.

It’s been a while since she saw him. She didn’t know what he had been doing, but whatever it was; she knew that he would never hurt her. He was that protective of her and although she had never shown it, she also knew a secret about him.

She just hoped that all his sacrifices were worth it. Maybe one day when there is really a chance of her truly surviving, she will stop pretending.

However, for now, she was just happy that she would get to see the city she had been curious about for years.

Some of her interests were in City G. the shopping malls, tourist attractions and the nearby villages. She was interested in visiting all these places.

She couldn’t wait to go there, even though she would only be able to be out for a short time.

As long as she could do it, she was going to put in all the effort.

Time quickly flew by and it wasn’t long before Emma and Avan were in her room once again.

Seeing the two of them entering, Zara knew that they had arrived.

With ease, Zara let the two serve her. Ava was in charge of the oxygen mask and tanks as well as other essential medical kits she would need later.

Emma was in charge of unbundling her from the blankets that were covering her. Moments later, Zara had her thin arms hooked around Emma’s neck as she carried her off the RV.

The second she got out of the RV; her eyes started darting around as she looked for that one person. After looking for a while, she couldn’t help but pout as she failed to find the person she was looking for.

’Is he really not here?’ she felt sad as she thought of Quinn not accompanying her once again.

Sulkily, Zara just let Emma and Ava help her to the wheelchair before they started wheeling her to the villa.

As it was dark, she couldn’t see properly what was what. So, the best she could do was appreciate the huge villa which was bigger than the one she grew up in.

’One day I will live in a much bigger house, I swear!’

However, that was just her own wishful thinking. Who knows what might really happen tomorrow?

The doors to the villa were opened, so whoever was pushing her as she wasn’t in the mood to look wheeled her inside.

Upon entering, Zara was greeted by a magnificent reception room which had this enormous chandelier which looked as if it was made from diamonds. It was simply too sparkly and alluring.

As for the furniture and whatnot, she barely looked at them. She didn’t use much furniture in her life. What was the point of admiring them?

"Where is my room?" she suddenly asked as she looked around after seeing the spiral staircase going upstairs.

"Miss, your room is on the third floor!" the reply came from behind her and it belonged to Emma, her nanny. However, it didn’t come directly from behind her, which showed that she wasn’t the one wheeling her.

’What the ...’

If her nanny wasn’t the one wheeling her, then who was?

She wondered as she struggled to turn her head to see which person was wheeling her.

There was definitely no way it would be Ava. Ava could see her and she was holding several medical tool kits.

"Who is pushing me?" she asked agitatedly after failing to turn while looking at Emma, who was now dodging from looking at her.

"You_"

"Sister! Have you already forgotten your dear brother?" a slightly wronged voice came directly from behind her.

"Boom!" when she heard that voice, an explosion happened in her head.

’OMG! Is that brother?’

"Quinn, is that you?" she excitedly asked as she struggled once again to turn around.

Quinn couldn’t help but smile upon seeing how eager she was to see him. He had been upset when she didn’t recognize him earlier. But when he saw how absentminded she seemed, he sort of accepted why she hadn’t recognized that he was there.

And now that he was seeing her acting like that, he couldn’t help but be happy.
