Chapter 29: Chapter 29: THIRD BROTHER/FOURTH SISTER 2

His desire to transition was so high, but he knew the protocols. He would have just done the procedure and reported later, but he didn’t want to lose his family’s support.

He understood himself very well. His only ambition was to become a woman, and he wasn’t interested in the family business like his siblings.

And the kind of life he wanted was expensive. If he were to piss his father off, wouldn’t he be messing up everything?

So, he gritted his teeth and went to seek his father’s approval. And what welcomed him were several rounds of beatings and scolding.

It wasn’t just his father but his uncle, aunt, and grandparents. Everyone was against it, and his siblings didn’t even want to be associated with him anymore.

However, that only lasted for three months before one day his father sat him down and asked him seriously if he wouldn’t regret his decision.

His answer was very firm back then, that he wouldn’t regret it. He would rather be happy after getting the procedure and have the will to live properly like a human being.

His father went quiet for a while before he approved of his decision.

He didn’t believe that his father had agreed, and it went like that for days. He felt as if he was being tested, so he never dared to do anything.

But after his father introduced him to a group of doctors who would be in charge of his transitioning, he finally believed that his father was serious about making his dreams true.

The transitioning process was a process that wouldn’t end so easily like that. It took him two years to finally look like a woman. From the breast implant, genital removal and replacement surgical procedures. It wasn’t easy, but he gritted his teeth until he finally had it all.

After two years of going off the grid, Axton finally emerged not as the third master of the Hansley family but as Ashely, the fourth Miss of the Hansley, pushing Zara, who was the fourth sister to fifth just like that.

So, when she heard Demel talking about five years ago, apart from the liberation of finally getting what she wanted, she recalled how she nearly got denied of being a woman but remaining as Axton, something that might have killed her.

"What about it? Are you trying to remind me of the fact that I was once a boy, second brother? It’s not like I have hidden this fact. The whole world knows about it and my fans love me for who I am. So, what are you trying to imply here? What has fifth has to do with this?" Ashely was simply pissed the more she saw Demel going in circles.

Didn’t he know that he was driving her crazy with all the suspense?

"It’s good that you always remember that. It’s exactly because of that, that you, my younger brother turned younger sister, shouldn’t treat fifth like that!" Demel scoffed as he looked at his trans sister, Ashely.

"Demel! Just get to the point! What the heck did she do?" Ashely angrily shouted as she looked at Demel, who seemed to be still enjoying bringing up the past and poking at her wounds.

Seeing her acting like that, Demel was happy. Ashely at times, was pompous and her attitude very irritating. She needed to be put in her place at times and letting her reflect on life and how she got where she was today would do the trick.

"Have you ever wondered why the elders suddenly gave in and allowed to transition? With how traditional everyone in the family was like, didn’t that irk you for a second?" Demel amusingly asked as he looked at Ashely with interest.

"Boom!"

Upon hearing that, Ashely heard her head exploding. And all of a sudden, it all started coming to her.

Why did they do that? What made them convinced? Why did they go to such great lengths to make sure that she had the operation correctly?

Back then, she was simply too excited that it never came to her, but now that Demel had asked her this, she couldn’t help but start wondering what really happened.

And a sudden thought came to her mind.

"No .... It can’t be?" she immediately rejected that thought without delay, her fist clenched and the veins on her hands popping up.

"I can see that you must have found the answer. Hehe, if it’s not for her, who else in the family is capable of making everyone accede?" Demel chuckled heartily upon seeing Ashely struggling.

Seeing how she looked now, she just couldn’t hide the fact that she was once a man. She was lucky enough though that she didn’t have an Adam’s apple when she was a boy, otherwise, that small hill would have worsened things.

"No, that’s impossible! Why would she do that for me? Doesn’t she hate me? If it wasn’t for me, she wouldn’t have gotten sick. So, tell me why, why the f*** would she do that?" Ashely became hysterical as she asked Demel.

Her fists were clenched, her eyes blazing red as her body trembled. Demel could even hear her hands cracking and he could just imagine how mad Ashely was at the moment.

However, what did her anger have to do with him?

He was here to teach the ungrateful girl a lesson and make her cool for a while.

"Indeed, until now, I also wonder. You have caused her so much trouble even when you were a boy, but she still convinced the elders when you came out that year. And not only did she end there, but also helped you to achieve your dream of transitioning. Tsk, tsk, and yet instead of being grateful you are just an imbecile that only knows how to cause trouble for her," Demel shook his head disappointedly as he looked at Ashely.

"You ... no, it can’t be!" Ashely continued to shake her head, obviously in denial.

"No matter how much you want to deny it, fourth sister, the truth will never change. It was Zara who gave you what you have now. So be grateful to her. After all, all this glory wouldn’t be yours if the elders had denied you to transition!" Demel said, adding more salt to the wound.

"No ..."

"Whatever you think, it’s no longer my business. If you don’t believe me, then ask everyone. I bet your mother also knows the truth too!" Demel sighed dejectedly as he stood up.

Ashely’s mental state no longer looked well. If he continued being around her, he didn’t know what more things he would say to provoke her. Seeing her suffering defeat wasn’t something that he gets to see every day.

And if he continued provoking her like that, who knows what she would do in anger?

"Mother ... yes. I need to go and see her. I must!" as if a gate had been opened for her, Ashely began to think of her mother.

As long as she told her that Demel was lying and just wanted to get at her, everything would be a lie.

Why would Zara help her?

Why would she even bother?

She refused to accept it. She wasn’t going to accept it at all.

Without wasting too much time, Ashely stood on her feet before dashing out of the study under Demel’s amusement.

"It’s going to be one hell of a night!" he chuckled as he went back to his desk.

As for what Ashely would do or face later, that was her business.

He was done, and he just hoped that Ashely would behave after this night. They were simply all tired.
