Chapter 205: Chapter 205: REMOVING THE CURSE 3

The next day, those who were heading for the Deity Oasis were boarding the cars, ready to leave for the several-hour journey, and those who were remaining were helping those leaving with their bags.

Zara was traveling with her parents plus the driver, while others were sharing the other cars.

As everyone boarded the cars, Amir’s eyes were busy searching for Quinn. The bastard who kept him awake at night, still pondering what the two of them talked about when they were alone.

However, after waiting for a long time, there was no sign of the other. Was he remaining behind this time?

That didn’t seem to be the Quinn that he knew.

When the cars started leaving, he couldn’t help but call Tehr and ask, "Have you seen Quinn? I don’t see him anywhere!"

When Tehr heard that question, he looked at his master and responded with a smile, "Quinn, he isn’t joining the entourage this time. I just heard that he isn’t feeling well. He must have fallen ill!" revealing the good news he had nearly forgotten to tell his master because of how busy he was.

When Amir heard that, he looked doubtfully at Tehr, not believing what he had just said, but the other explained himself and even swore that it was indeed the case.

Amir knew that if he left without seeing the other, he wouldn’t feel well at all. It will always be on his mind, so as the other cars started leaving, he headed for the residence where Quinn was currently.

And when he saw the other, he couldn’t help but frown as he saw Quinn’s hand wrapped with a bandage.

"What happened to you? Weren’t you fine yesterday?" he couldn’t help but curiously ask as he saw that Quinn was wounded.

Even with the bandage wrapped around his hand, Amir could smell the blood. The other had been hurt, and who would dare hurt someone in the temple?

He was curious about what was going on. With him hurt like this, did Zara know about it? She would be worried if she knew. He didn’t want her to be stressed when she was supposed to be concentrating on removing the curse.

When Quinn saw Amir, he felt like taunting the other, especially when he looked at the wrapped bandage. How could this bastard understand?

"Who else can hurt me in this word except her?" he replied, a smug smile on his face as he caressed his hand as if it was priceless.

When Amir heard that, he was baffled. Without Quinn mentioning anything else, he could tell that Zara was the one who caused that wound, but why?

"And why would she hurt you? I thought that she could never do that. Did you do something to her?" Amir’s tone became icy as that thought flashed in his mind.

If Quinn hadn’t done anything to her, why would she hurt him? It didn’t make sense.

"Haha," Quinn burst into laughter upon hearing that as he unwrapped the bandage revealing the hand or rather the wound.

Even when standing from a distance, Amir could see the wound on Quinn’s palm.

"That’s a knife wound. She cut you? Why and what did you do?" Amir asked once again, his teeth gritted and fists clenched.

Quinn rose to his feet as he caressed the wound, which hurt like hell, and yet he maintained a smile on his face. There was no way he was going to let this bastard know that he was hurting.

If he could cause some damage to Amir, he would be happy.

After walking for a short distance, Quinn stopped in front of Amir and looked at the other with a smile before saying, "She cut me because she loves me. There is something that even you, as the husband, can’t do or give her. Don’t always remain smug!" no longer caring about how pissed off the other would be.

Recalling what Zara said to him yesterday, even if he received a bashing today, he felt that it was worth it.

As long as he is alive and she is alive, he will continue to fight for her and stop being a coward.

"You!" Amir pointed angrily at Quinn, offended by his words.

How dare he say that she loves him? She was a married girl, for crying out loud.

Quinn, however, felt that if he didn’t frustrate Amir until he coughed out blood today, then he wasn’t a man.

"Are you curious to know what we talked about yesterday?" Quinn asked with a sly smile on her face, his eyes full of affection though.

Thinking about what happened, his cheeks couldn’t help but heat up.

After Amir left, Zara instructed Quinn to sit very close.

"Ever since this whole thing started, I haven’t been spending as much time as I could with you. I am sorry. Do you hate me for this?"

How could Quinn hate her because of that?

"I don’t. I know that you have your reasons. I will never blame you!"

Zara smiled when she heard that, and her smile made his heart flutter so much, he couldn’t help but look away.

"I am glad that you feel that way."

After that, the two talked about a lot of things and the conversation was going well until they reached the part where he got the wound.

"What’s bothering you?" he asked her, seeing that she looked very disturbed.

"Sigh ..... it, I don’t know how to ask you of this," she sighed helplessly as she looked at him, her eyes a bit teary and conflicted.

That was the first time that he had ever seen her in such a state. His heart ached to see her in such a state. He hurriedly asked, "Tell me what you want. As long as I can do it, I will give it my all!" vowing to help her in any way.

It’s been a long time since she asked her about something and seeing how she called him instead of that bastard who stole her from him, meant that he couldn’t do it.

If he could do it, then wouldn’t he beat Amir at least once?
