Chapter 204: Chapter 204: REMOVING THE CURSE 2

When everyone was leaving, Zara suddenly looked in Quinn’s direction and the other smiled at her reassuringly.

Without him saying a thing, she could tell what he meant with that smile. ’It was going to be fine!’

From a very young age, he was always by her side and never left. He protected her in many ways possible just to make sure that her childhood was better compared to how it could have been.

Quinn was the best brother, friend, and companion she could ever ask for. If Amir hadn’t happened, he was also the perfect husband candidate she had set her eyes on.

Quinn knew her pretty well, and she didn’t even need to open her mouth to demand anything. He did everything without her asking. That’s how much he understood her and knew her as if he was a worm in her belly.

He was like her soulmate, the kind of person that she couldn’t live without and surely, that was proved to be true. She couldn’t live without him even now. Without him, would it even be possible for her to have hope to live?

Looking at him with such a gaze, Quinn was startled, surprised to see her looking at him in such a way. He forgot the last time that she had looked at him with such a gaze.

Could it be that she was starting to realize that he was the one for her?

Could it be that she was getting enlightened?

The more he thinks about that, the more excited he becomes, though he didn’t show it.

Watching the silent conversation between the two was Amir, and he didn’t feel comfortable watching this at all.

The way his wife was looking at another man disturbed him greatly. He didn’t know what to think about this at all. But knowing Zara, could there be a reason why she was acting like that?

Before he could get the answer, Zara suddenly said, "Quinn, please remain behind. There is something that only you can help me with tonight!" without looking at him at all.

Amir felt constricted upon hearing that. His fists involuntarily clenched, his fury rising.

He wanted to say something to her, but Zara wasn’t looking at him at all and with the way she was acting; he knew that she wanted him out of there.

He didn’t want to get into a heated argument on such a night and with so much at stake. He didn’t know what else Zara saw or heard. If he fails to control himself and ends up causing trouble for her, he will regret it for the rest of his life.

As he left the room with a gloomy expression, he locked his gaze with Quinn, who gave him that ’I won’ kind of look, and it made him feel infuriated. Nevertheless, he still left and kindly closed the door so that no one could disturb the two.

Waiting outside was his sister, who dragged him as soon as he was out without saying a word.

At this moment, it seemed that no one even noticed that for a while now, Amir could come in contact with other females apart from Zara.

Elora was simply worried about her brother and wanted him to get out of the area as soon as possible.

After dragging him out of the residence and taking him to the garden, Elora looked at her brother with a warning look.

Her brother, at this moment, those blue eyes, didn’t seem quite right at all. She could tell that he was currently infuriated and wanted nothing but to return to the residence and deal with Quinn. However, she couldn’t let him do that.

"Elora, why did you do that?" Amir asked his sister with gritted teeth, feeling like slapping the other so badly for what she did.

Elora, however, didn’t cower despite seeing her pissed-off brother. She remembered what Diamond told her before, and she wasn’t going to allow her brother to mess everything up for them. Not at all.

"Brother, it’s not the time for you to get pissed or emotional. Have you forgotten that she is your wife?" Elora couldn’t help but remind me.

A murderous glint flashed in his eyes when he heard that, his brows furrowing and eyes narrowing. He couldn’t help but laugh out loud, his laughter a bit sinister, making Elora shiver. "I know she is my wife, which is why I am pissed. Tell me, what does she need to talk to him alone and that he can do alone when me the husband is here? Tell me, what I can’t do?" the more he thought about it, the angrier and frustrated Amir became.

From the beginning, it was he who had saved her life and yet when everything was nearly done, Quinn suddenly became the person who could help her. What kind of games was she playing?

Elora, upon hearing that, understood that things were bad. However, recalling what Diamond said before, she knew that she needed to keep her brother at bay, otherwise, things might go wrong.

"Brother, you remember that they grew up together, right? He was there first before you met them. There are things that the two of them know that you don’t know. Some things are secrets between siblings!" Elora couldn’t help but mention.

"Hah, must you remind me of that?" Amir sneered as he looked at his baby sister. The reminder that the wolf in sheep’s clothing knew her first upset him so much that he felt like strangling the other badly.

Elora, hearing that knew that she had misspoken, she couldn’t help but add hurriedly, "Brother, in the end, you are the victor. She married you twice and everyone witnessed that. Let’s just wait for a bit and see what’s really happening. You wouldn’t want to regret it just because you were impulsive!" feeling panicky about the situation.

Amir raised his head as he looked at the night sky, releasing a sigh as he digested what his sister had just said.

Was it really the case?

He should have faith in her, right?

There was no way she would change her mind after a few hours. She loves him and promises that she will never leave him.

There must be something else happening that he wasn’t aware of.

If he waited patiently until Zara was ready to mention it, then maybe he would get the answers.

Amir confronted himself like that for a while before he looked at Elora.

"Fine, I will control myself. But if that bastard provokes me, I will deal with him!" he couldn’t help but say as he recalled how smug Quinn looked when he left the room.

Elora, seeing her brother agreeing, sighed with relief, a smile blossoming on her face.

"That’s great, brother. Now let’s go inside. We have a lot to prepare."
