"We don’t know much actually, but what we know is that back in Lingren village, we had to collect a ring which was hard to find. It took us days before we could find it."

"You find it, though, right?" Lena asked nervously, her eyes filled with anticipation and hope for a positive answer.

Emma smiled brightly at Lena and responded, "Yes, we found it. However, acquiring the ring was a difficult process!" however her smile dimmed as she recalled what happened back then.

Hearing that, Lena suddenly sat straight, exclaiming nervously as she looked at Emma, "You .. what happened? She didn’t get hurt, right?"

"No, Miss will never get hurt. The security teams had always been on the lookout, so no harm would befall on her!"

"That’s good then. So, tell me, she didn’t suffer, right?" Lena was very worried about that, so she couldn’t help but ask.

"This ...." Emma seemed hesitant to talk about it, but Ava nudged her elbow, urging her to just talk.

Lena asked a few more questions to the two ladies and after getting the answers she wanted, she let them leave.

However, as soon as they were gone, she turned to look at her husband, who was very furious, gloomy and obviously sulking.

"Dear, why are you acting like a kid?" Lena asked, finding Cade very funny and childish. "Are you not happy hearing that someone out there loves our baby?"

Cade looked at his wife, who was so happy to the extent that she forgot that their baby had been confined in her villa for years. She hadn’t interacted with people her age. What if she gets scammed?

"Dear, don’t you find the whole thing suspicious?"

"What’s suspicious about it? Never underestimate fate, dear!"

"You .... Fine, let’s say that I accept the fate part. But why did he have to scam her like that? He could have asked for other things and yet he just aimed for marriage. Is his ring that worthy of our precious?"

Lena sighed helplessly as she looked at her husband and said as she gazed into his eyes, "Hubby. People have their traditions. As much as we love our daughter and wish her well, we have to understand and accept the fact that one day she will leave us. At least let us be grateful that we won’t be mourning her. One day, sooner or later, our daughters all leave to start their families. The same is true for Zara. To me, and us, anything that can make our baby live till old age, is worth it. Cade caressed his wife’s hand as he chuckled a bit, listening to her worries.

"I promised to hold the skies for both you and our daughter. So, trust me. Since she loves doing this, then let us support her. Didn’t we support Ashley? Everyone knows she is my daughter, but did anything happen? Besides, our family hasn’t made so many connections for the show. If the baby wants to reveal herself to the public, then let her. I think that it’s time for everyone to get introduced to the fifth miss of our family. What do you think?"

’What do I think? I freaking love it!’ Lena inwardly cheered as she turned to look at her husband with an affectionate gaze, her lips curling upwards while her eyes squinted.

"Have I told you today just how much I love you?"
