Touka laid on the ground, her face covered in cuts and bruises from the crash, her body immobile against the ground, lights reflected on her skin signifying a starting flame.

A voice in her head sounds. Her eyelashes flicked.

Her fingers flicked. "An...Anzai" her voice a very faint sound for she recognized the voice that belongs to him.

Before Departure

"Touka," Anzai said, his eyes on her.

Touka’s shaky orbs on the silver flash device he gave her. "Anzai this is..." her lips quivered, she still couldn’t believe he would trust her with something as crucial as the X-File, she gulps hard. So within this very flash device, a government secret was within it, the X-File, that could be related to the Sp-Virus. Her lips pressed in a thin line as her eyes shocked. ’If Anzai is entrusting this to me... then..’ she stilled when she felt his hands against her shoulder, holding unto it tightly.

She leisurely shifts her gaze to meet his red eyes, a smile on his lips. "I’m leaving it to you Touka" he grinned.

"Anzai" her eyes circled in tears.

"Don’t die"

Touka groaned as he leisurely opened her eyes, her vision was blurry at first but then she saw who was before her.

"Kiyoshi-sama," she said faintly.

"Thank goodness you’re okay," he said as his tears fell gently on her cheeks before enveloping her in a tight hug. "I’m not ready to lose my daughter"

Touka’s eyes were shocked at his words and then her orbs saddened, he helped her to seat up making sure he was gentle with her.

"We made it into Fukuoka, but we crashed into it" Kazuya said, leisurely walking towards them, holding her wounded shoulder.

"And the civilians?!" Kiyoshi demands.

"I checked... they are okay, only just wounded ones, nothing critical but we must attend to them quickly"

Suddenly they heard a loud noise from the wall of the chopper, they turned simultaneously, awaiting who it might be, it was like the walls were being drilled open, and then it fell apart revealing Tori, Hachiro, and some team behind them.

"Tori," Kazuya said with trembling eyes on the verge of tears.

"We came as soon as your chopper landed, we must evacuate everyone within," Hachiro said adjusting his glasses, he set his eyes on Touka. "Touka-san"

"Hachiro," Touka said with a smile against her lips.

"Then the other chopper did it make it?" Kiyoshi asked.

Tori’s eyes fell sad. "Something happened we had to pull up the barrier as soon as you guys landed"

"What?!"

"What is it, Hiro?!" Ten demands knowing he was the only one capable of sensing things right now.

"I feel them," he said. "I feel the others!"

Ten stilled at his words as his eyes shocked, he turned his gaze to the view that now cleared as the strong wind rushed in, in itching anticipation and the smokescreen parted.

"Mirai, Yumi, Kaneki, Mary, Sumi, Shino, Homura, Mizuki, Daiki, Mosu, Raiden, Ren, Kaname, Haya, Himari, Ryu..." Hiro paused, his eyes shocking, tears trailing down his cheeks, his heart slamming a loud heartbeat in his chest... because that was it, that was all the aura he felt.

"Is that all?!"

Hiro’s jaw clenched hard, his body rigid, his teeth clenched hard, his head bending down.

"Tell me, Hiro!"

Hiro’s body stilled when he felt something, he raised his head as his eyes were shocked.

"Hiro" Ten said wondering what got him stilled, he then turned to the view the smokescreen finally cleared.

The remaining Bio-genetics that survived had their eyes ahead, there was a blue glassy aura that covered them along with the city, spreading across widely.

Hiro’s eyes continued to shake when he senses whose aura the shield belongs.

"General... An..zai"

Anzai drew slow breaths, blood dripping to the ground, Anzai stood just outside the barrier, his two hands crossed in an X formation, the arm Armour he wore gleaming the brightest blue and the source of the barrier put up that covered them. Half of his face was burnt, with several wounds and cuts, and more blood continued to drop to the ground.

"I don’t believe this" Shino said with horrified eyes, shocked tremendously.

"He took..." Ten began as tears spilled from the eyes. "The full blast!"

Yuki stirred awake as she sat up holding her head, her vision was still blurry, she faced Hiro who had a horrified look, tracing what got him startled her weak gasp lands on Anzai, she gasped.

’I put up the barrier just in time’ Anzai thought panting.

Before The Blast

The Colossal Kaiju’s mouth beamed an orange color, generating energy really to release.

"Hachiro, turn up the barrier now!" Anzai yelled to his comm.

"Bu-"

"DO IT NOW!"

"We’re gonna die!" Daiki yelled.

Fear struck Ten, his brain shutting.

Mizuki turned seeing the barrier of the city coming up like a wall. ’Will it come up in time?’

"IT’S COMING!" Homura shouts in horror.

’The city will be covered.. what about us?’ Raiden thought in horror, they were gonna be blown to bits when that energy was released. ’We’re gonna die!’

"BIO-GENETICS TAKE COVER!" Anzai shouts getting off his Hellhound. ’This is bad we’re not gonna make it!’.

Anzai’s shaky eyes on the bio-genetics as they ran helplessly, he saw the fear and the panic, his teeth clenched as he came to a sudden halt and faced the upcoming destruction. ’This particular gadget was reserved for the Queen Kaiju guess I have to use it’ he set his arms in an X formation, the arm Armour he wore gave a sound pulsing sound. ’The main focus will be just to cover the bio-genetics and the city’ his eyes shook, the barrier will cover him but not entirely because he was the source.

A smile crossed his lips. ’Guess it can’t be helped...’ his smirk broadened as he steadied himself, getting in a strong position, awaiting the blow, and it slammed right through him but the barrier was already up in time.
