Viktor frowned a little and cast a huge fire spell on the swarm of ants. Lots of soldiers got caught up in his attack and died but still, his expression remained the same as before.

He knew people were losing their life because of his magic attacks and yet, he kept casting spells.

’They are all going to end up being reborn again so what’s the issue? It’s the tower’s fault that it sent me to a place where I have no choice but to kill. And I’m probably the first person who became a demigod in his 4th life-_-. I’m just a newborn baby in the eyes of the judgement god.’

The swarm was approving in a rush at the Lord’s runway troop. That was the only way to the town so the swarm was just following the scent.

The Lord was trembling and also filled with rage because his daughter blocked the way by cutting off the trees. They were so big that the injured soldiers failed to climb them and get treatment in the town temple.

The Lord couldn’t leave them because they were elite soldiers and they were to protect the lord.

Viktor then looked at the lord from afar and saw he summoned his daughter and was currently busy scolding her.

’Heheh... I don’t care because my level has reached 10. I have killed more than 55 ants so far. The more I level up, the more ants are needed to increase my level. I need 12 ants to level up now. Also, the human kills are adding so the tower gave me some new skills as one of my achievements

’I can’t believe I gained a new skill because I tricked her to cut all the trees. Well, It was hard to get the map from the camp using my wind skill. And coincidentally, the pink-haired punk came and made my plan go easier. All I have to do is to kill them and drive the swarm to the other side of the mountain where the dark gold mine is.

I need to do my job mind and get some gold after all. Money is precious to me after all.’

Viktor looked behind and saw a knight in silver armour below the tree he was sitting on. He was busy killing the swarm so he couldn’t feel his presence. He was low in levels.

Viktor looked at his vexed expression and said, "A knight left his master’s side. Since when did the Falcon family teach the knights to throw their pride?"

"I received an order to execute the man who tried to harm the lady of the Falcon house. I shall give you a painless death if you come down at once and surrender in front of me. Also, the lady has ordered me to give her that staff. So, I will be taking that with me."

Viktor raised his eyebrows and said, "It was her who was trying to get me down from the tree and ordered me to become her meat shield. We, the adventurers, are free people and have the authority to turn down any offers from any noble. All I did was turn down her offer and she began to throw tantrums all over the forest."

"I have no obligation to listen to any lowly adventurers. If you don’t come down, I will have to cut down this tree as well."

Viktor jumped from the tree and started to walk towards the place where he sensed more mana. It was near the swarm of ants so the knight hesitated to approach him. He said,

"Hey!! Come back!! Or else, I will cut off your head!!"

"Yea, yea... I am waiting for it..."

He immediately ducked his head and jumped a few meters away from him. For a nanosecond, his mind became connected with his main body and it triggered his extreme danger instinct.

"Woh... you almost got me. Aiming for my nape when I’m not fighting you? What a shameless knight you are..!"

Viktor looked at his pale expression and said, "Pardon?"

"How..how did you dodge it? My attack...how did you dodge it?"

"Umm... My body told me to dodge and jump. I just followed what it told me. Why.. are you the god of sword or something? Is your attack supposed to be unavoidable?"

"I am the sword god. The 2nd prince of this kingdom and the fiance of the lady of Falcon house. My sword never fails to reach the enemy’s flesh and bones."

He flew at him by pointing his sword at Viktor. Viktor again got connected with his main body and avoided the attack. The link again got disconnected and then, the knight tried to attack him again.

Just like before, his consciousness got connected with his main body and his time, and about 0.1% of his resistance went off. A faint sense of his body got permanently connected with his avatar.

Viktor smiled and grabbed the man’s sword with the tip of his pinky. "I finally understood the resistance thanks to your hard work. But you broke the rules. You attacked me 5 times when I told you to give me only 3."

The knight was so shocked that he nearly pissed his pants. His sword cracked when Viktor stopped it. So he asked, "Just who are you?"

"I’m Grimm. A friendly visitor."

At that moment, the swarm reached the stop and started to run towards the opposite side of the mountain. It was rushing at the Lord’s so the knight ditched his mission and ran towards the swarm to save his master and his fiance.

’There he goes... ditching his order and running towards the Lord to save his weak a$$. Well, I might just fly over the mine and wait for their arrival.’

Viktor stood on his staff and flew above the forest to reach the mine. He looked below and saw the soldiers fighting the huge ants. Injured soldiers were trying to run away but the ants weren’t weak. He saw the knight reach the Lord’s location and started to slay the ants to save him. Lord’s daughter was also fighting with the ants. Her movements were so smooth that she looked like she was dancing through the forest. Still, her skills weren’t enough to protect everyone.

So many people were dying and the swarm was approaching the town where the mine was situated.

Viktor stopped above the mind and waited for the swarm to arrive. At that moment, his tower status screen appeared.

"Ah... My level has reached 15 with just 5 attacks. Very good. Now let’s kill the swarm when it reaches the mine. I have to cast a huge explosion spell."

Viktor suddenly chucked and said, "I feel like I’ve become that anime eyepatch girl who casts one explosion magic and gets fully exhausted..hahahah!!!! Explosiiooonnn!!!! Ptff!!! Ahahaha!!!!"

The swarm was approaching the location steadily. The lord couldn’t hold the army of monsters so he decided to run away by leaving his town. His daughter failed to accept the reality but after one slap from his fiance, she became shocked and decided to run away as well because the reality was turning harsh.

The Lord has already ordered them to retrieve money from his house as soon as possible. He wanted to run away to the next country with his family by changing his identity.

Meanwhile, Viktor had already planned to destroy his plan too. He was waiting to destroy the mine along with the monsters so he kept his eyes on the swarm.

’A few more minutes and it’s all over... I will gain lots of levels and the promised scythe. I can’t wait to smell my new weapon!!!’

At that moment, he noticed the royal knight of the king, coming out of the mine with a huge bag. He was stealing dark gold ore when the kingdom was in chaos.

"Bold move, kid. Mine somewhere else in your next life."

Viktor raised his hand and created a huge ball of fire above it. He then threw the ball at the mine’s entrance when the ants made their way there. He then screamed,
