Kealos gritted his teeth, "Watch that mouth of yours!" His eyes flared up.

Astrid chuckled, "Calm down, I only asked who she was," he shrugged, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

Kaelos went to her, and held her hand, "She does not need you around, stay away from her!" He growled.

Astrid lips turned downwards, "Oh please, who is going to stop me?" He smirked.

"I am!" Lunaris stepped forward, "You should leave from here Astrid, you are not needed here!"

"Hm," his eyes went to Dora’s, "Are they treating you right?"

She shook her head, "If you can, please get me away from them," she sniffled.

A corner of his lips went up, "See? You must have caused a lot of trouble for her," he grimaced, taking Dora’s hand from Kaelos.

"Let her.."

"Leave me alone! Stay away from me please!" Dora yelled.

Kaelos stopped in his tracks, he gaped at her, "Dora.. you.. he is not someone you should be with!"

"At least, he is better than you are! You lie just to use me.. he is being truthful at least!" She turned on her heels, "Let us leave from here," she said almost breathlessly.

Astrid nodded, pride gleaming in his eyes, "Yes," he took her hand, and walked out on them.

"Are you letting her leave just like that?!" Lunaris snapped at him.

He sighed, "Mother.. she is really angry at me right now.. let her calm down, and I will talk to her."

"What do you mean by that? What if Astrid.."

"Mother.. there is nothing I will say that will resonate with her right now.. let it be.. I will go to her when she is much calmer."

He proceeded to walk out on her but his mother was not having it, she gripped his hand.

"You fool! What makes you think she will become any calmer? Astrid is with her! Astrid!"

Kaelos was pissed, "Stop making a fuzz out of it mother! You are the reason I hurt her in the first place!" He wriggled his hand out of her grip, and walked out on her.

Lunaris gaped at him as he walked away, "because of me?"

She blinked, trying to digest what he said a few minutes ago.

"So.. I have made a mistake trying to secure what is rightfully yours? Okay then," she put her hands behind her, "No problem then."

She raised her shoulders and walked to her chambers.

"Do not mind the way Lunaris reacts.. she is just a desperate old hag."

"Who?"

"Kaelos’s mother."

Dora sniffled, and sat down on the garden chair, "I was such a fool to have liked him in the first place," she wiped her teary eye.

Astrid patted her back, "Oh, it is okay... I understand that you are naive, it is definitely not your fault."

She shook her head, "No.. I was blinded by what I thought was love," she croaked, feeling her throat constrict, "I.." she swallowed hard, "thought he liked me.. and I liked him too," she palmed her face.

Astrid shook his head, a smirk on his face, "Poor you.. he must have used you up so bad."

She felt helpless when he said those words, her tears blurred her vision, and her lips shook, "I was foolish.." she whimpered, "Look where it has landed me now," she sobbed quietly.

He patted her head, "It is okay.. I can take care of him if you want me to.."

She looked up at him, "Take care of him? What do you mean?"

"Revenge?"

Her heart skipped a beat, "Re- revenge?"

He nodded, "Yes.. he will pay for all the bad things he has done to you, I will make sure of that," his hand caressed her hair, "Just give me the go ahead..and I will make sure of it."

Dora sniffed, and wiped her nose, "Uh.. but.. what do you intend on doing?"

He looked at her, his eyes darkened, "Marry me," he growled.

She drew her head backwards, "What? Why?"

"Do you want to take your revenge on him or not?"

"I do but.."

"Then marry me.. that is the best kind of revenge on him," he grinned.

She narrowed her eyes suspiciously, "Hm, I do not know you well enough.. why should I marry you?"

He held his head, "I literally just said the reason.. to .."

"You are marrying me for revenge? Oh well I am not doing that!" She got to her heels.

"Hmph..." He sighed, "I wanted to help you.. but it seems you do not want it."

"I did.. but you saying I should marry you is not what I want.. I can not marry you," she shook her head, and began to walk away.

Astrid eyes darkened, "You will not go anywhere!"

She scoffed, "Why is that? Ugh! Everyone around here must be crazy! I am leaving here right now!" She stormed towards the building.

"Not so quickly my dear," a hand gripped hers.

"What? Hey!"

Astrid’s darkened eyes turned bright when he saw who it was, "Mother!"

Dora creased her brows, "Huh?"

"I can sense another life inside of you.. you can be used to our advantage..." Her eyes twinkled with mischief, and she flashed her an evil grin.

"Advantage?" She looked at Astrid, "You... you are not any better!"

"I never said I was," he shrugged casually.

"Leave me alone!" She tried to wriggle her hand out of Lyra’s grip but surprisingly Lyra was too strong.

"Come on Astrid! We should take her inside."

Astrid cackled and came closer, "Yes, we should."

Dora tried to struggle, "No! Leave me! Let me go! I do not want to be here!"

"You will love it here my dear, you do not have to worry about anything," Lyra laughed mischievously.

Dora began to cry, "No! I do not want to be here! I am supposed to be with my mother, let me go please."

"No way, since Astrid’s mate can not birth a pup yet.. you will become useful. It is not as if you want Kaelos anyways."

"I will marry you, and that child will be mine as well."

Dora knowing she was in danger and needed help screamed with all her might, "Neriah! Help me!"
