Richard was engrossed in scrolling through the forum. The more he delved into the posts, the more he found that person interesting.

The trending discussions all revolved around the tyrant- Bei Sangyun. Initially, he thought her reputation was tarnished based on the ’tyrant’ title. A ’tyrant’ sounded like a villain that everyone avoided and loathed.

After all, Lin Sunji had told them many times of Bei Sangyun’s infamous deeds in the school. So he expected everyone to outcast Bei Sangyun.

But his perception shifted as he delved deeper into the posts. Despite the ruthless image painted by others, it became evident the student’s body admiration and respect, not just fear, were associated with her.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to claim that Bei Sangyun held the entire school under her palm. Her influence reached far and wide; her words carried the weight of an iron rule, and her actions were subjects of widespread discussion.

What intrigued Richard even more was that, regardless of the nature of her actions, be they good or bad, her name elicited a sense of awe.

From this, he could conclude that Bei Sangyun had a charisma that was very different from other Lin family members.

Richard paused at a specific post that caught his attention.

[The tyrant had a secret crush on the target!]

He scoffed at the idea. "What kind of disillusioned people who make this post?"

Having seen a photo of the supposed target, Richard couldn’t fathom any aspect of him being manly or attractive enough to capture Bei Sangyun’s interest. This was undoubtedly a hoax.

"Young Master, we’ve arrived."

Richard peered out of the window and saw the school building before him.

"The teacher will be waiting for you."

Nodding, Richard exited the car. Since he was late, the class had already started, and the halls were empty and quiet.

Richard found the teacher waiting for him at the entrance. Given her fluency in French, it became apparent why she was assigned to guide Richard to his classroom. Richard chose not to immediately reveal his proficiency in the common language here, opting instead to engage in casual conversation with the teacher.

"The class you’ll be joining is the star section. Nearly half of the students there understand French, with about ten percent capable of speaking the language fluently. Two students there are exceptionally adept at French. I hope the three of you can become friends."

Richard smiled, "I hope so too, teacher."

The teacher first entered the room to inform the teacher inside that the new student had arrived.

Teacher Ong, the adviser of Class 3-1A, the star section, acknowledged her duty. "Thank you, Teacher May, for bringing the student here. I’ll take it from here."

"You have to be careful. Mr. Lin had called the principal and mentioned that this exchange student is a very important guest." Teacher May explained.

"The Lin family? Even better. Both Lin family members are here. I’m confident they won’t let him feel out of place." The two teachers exchanged a few more words.

Teacher May then departed after leaving Richard in Teacher Ong’s care.

As Richard entered the room, the once-dull atmosphere suddenly brimmed with life, particularly among the girls whose sleepy eyes instantly widened.

As a foreigner, Richard’s distinctive features stood out — his blond hair, emerald eyes, and tall silhouette were striking. Coupled with his gentle demeanor and handsome face, he resembled a prince from a fairy tale.

The girls couldn’t help but question each other if they were dreaming. Even the guys appeared awestruck by Richard’s arrival.

"Everyone, please quiet down. Let’s not embarrass ourselves in front of the new student. He’s a foreign exchange student from France, so I hope everyone will do their best to communicate with him in French," Teacher Ong instructed, turning towards Richard once the class had hushed. She then asked him with awkward French, "Will you introduce yourself?"

"Yes, Teacher," Richard smiled gently, then turned towards the class, "Hi, everyone. I’m Richard Simon. I’ll be staying here for a month, so I hope we can be good friends." His gentle green eyes caused a stir among the girls, making some swoon.

Even those who didn’t fully comprehend his words felt their hearts race due to his magnetic voice and handsome French.

The boys were disheartened. "Another competitor..."

Lin Sunji’s seatmates were thrilled, "His name is Richard, right? I’m not fluent in French, but I understand a bit. Hey, Sunji, you’re fluent in French, aren’t you? I envy you. You can talk to him."

"He is very handsome. I wish to become his friend. I bet you two will become friends instantly."

Lin Sunji smiled, "Richard is not a stranger to me. He’s our family’s guest."

Lin Sunji’s seatmates were stunned, then their eyes lit up, "So you’re friends with him? Can we invite him for lunch later?"

Lin Sunji’s so-called friends eagerly discussed how to get close to Richard.

At the last row, amid the class’s excitement, the two individuals at the back remained silent and uninterested.

Fei Chuan glanced towards the front. Everyone was being so noisy so it was hard to ignore it. He took a glance at the person causing the excitement. Richard also looked in his direction. Their eyes briefly met before the teacher asked Richard where he wanted to sit.

Fei Chuan’s brow twitched. Did that man just smirk at him?

It was only for a moment, but the man’s gaze was deep, as if he knew him. Or was it just his imagination?

A piece of paper suddenly landed on his desk, bearing a messy note: [No matter what, our seating arrangement shall not be broken.]

Fei Chuan: ?

He glanced at Bei Sangyun just as Teacher Ong’s voice interrupted his thoughts. "Fei Chuan, could you add a seat beside Bei Sangyun?"

The girls slumped their shoulders in disappointment. The new handsome student seemed eager to sit beside the tyrant, ending any hopes of claiming that coveted spot.

Fei Chuan now understood what Bei Sangyun meant. He cast a questioning look at the blonde man. Was he someone Bei Sangyun knew?

Teacher Ong prompted him again. He was about to stand up to follow the teacher’s instruction when Bei Sangyun raised her hand. "Teacher, we’re already crowded here. I think it’s better for the new student to sit beside our best French student."

Everyone looked at the massive space beside Bei Sangyun: "...."

There were only two people at the back, how could she say it was crowded?
