Chapter 130: Interested with Someone else
Chapter 130: Interested with Someone else
This was a situation Bei Sangyun wasn’t familiar with. Was this the effect of her different choices and actions, like a butterfly effect?
Bei Sangyun wasn’t sure if these changes were a good thing or not. Then she shrugged. Well, the future was bound to change since she wouldn’t let her Grandma die early due to neglect of her medical condition. And she won’t let herself suffer as she did in the past since she has hope now.
No matter what changes occurred, she was ready to face them.
"Do you have any idea why the twins wanted to attend school?" Butler Xin asked, clearly concerned about the twins’ actions.
"It’s probably because of me. After suffering from the mountain, they will surely find ways to retaliate. They must have heard some things from Lin Sunji and decided to target me at school."
"Then, that’s more reason for you not to attend school for a while. I believe you’ll be able to catch up even if you don’t attend school in a month."
"Why would I hide from them?" Bei Sangyun rolled her eyes at Butler Xin. "I’m not afraid of them. Have you forgotten who I am? I am the ’tyrant’ in that place. The school is my turf."
Bei Sangyun glanced at herself in the mirror once more before turning around to leave. "And I will make them regret choosing to come to that place."

The morning air was cold, yet filled with vitality. In front of the school, a continuous line of cars awaited their turn to enter, and among them was Lin Xiaoni’s car.
Seated in the backseat, Lin Xiaoni wore a gloomy expression. Her eyes, filled with tears, were fixed on the screen. The last message she had sent was yesterday evening, and the current one remained unread.
It had been days since Richard abruptly stopped spending time with her. Every time she suggested going somewhere, he claimed to be busy. Yet, what could he possibly be occupied with when he had no responsibilities or duties in the Lin mansion?
The last she heard, he was hanging out at Lin Sunji’s place. Although Lin Xiaoni didn’t want him to get close to Lin Sunji, she refrained from seeking him out personally. Instead, she messaged him daily. The unanswered texts piled up, adding to her growing frustration.
But even in chat, Richard had stopped reading her messages.
Today, she had heard from her parents that the Simons would attend school. She was happy, thinking she would be able to see Richard even at school.
Yesterday, she messaged him, asking if he wanted to go to school together. However, the message remained unread. Lin Xiaoni was very anxious, feeling that Richard was avoiding her.
Did that Lin Sunji say something behind her back? Perhaps she had tarnished her reputation in front of Richard!
Or was it that bitch Bei Sangyun? She had been with the two of them just this Saturday. It must be both of them. The two played her dirty! Unforgivable!
This was the only possible reason Lin Xiaoni could think of for Richard’s sudden distance from her.
As Lin Xiaoni was on the verge of tears, her eyes wandered outside the window and happened to catch Bei Sangyun walking.
Her tears halted. She brushed her eyes to see if she was hallucinating. Upon confirming that it was indeed Bei Sangyun, Lin Xiaoni seemed to find an outlet for her frustration. Her eyes turned red with anger. Without thinking much, she hopped out of the car and rushed towards Bei Sangyun.
"Bitch! Did you speak behind my back and ruin my reputation in front of Richard?!"
Bei Sangyun was taken aback. She turned around and met Lin Xiaoni’s red eyes. Glancing around, she noticed many students stopping, intending to watch the unfolding drama.
Bei Sangyun sighed. It was early in the morning, and yet, she was about to become the hot topic of everyone again. She looked at Lin Xiaoni.
"Do you want to embarrass yourself? You’ll be at the top post in the school forum, and not for a good reason."
Lin Xiaoni jolted. She looked around and saw some students recording the scene.
Because she was too hasty and impulsive, her cousins considered her dumb and foolish. She acted before she could think.
Lin Xiaoni glared at Bei Sangyun. Was she looking down on her?
But her tone lowered by a large degree.
"Don’t play me for a fool. What did you say to Richard?"
"About what?"
"Don’t play innocent. I know you talked behind my back. What did you say to him that he no longer contacted me?" Lin Xiaoni restrained her voice, but her teary eyes betrayed her distress.
"We don’t talk much, and I don’t have plans to get closer to him. I’m actually rooting for you with him. So there’s no way I’ll ruin your name in front of him," Bei Sangyun leaned closer toward Lin Xiaoni. "Of course, I know you won’t believe me. Just accept the fact that he is no longer interested in you."
Lin Xiaoni glared angrily at her. "How can he not be interested in me? He was practically in love with me just a few days ago!"
Bei Sangyun shrugged. "There are scumbags like him everywhere. Anyway, I don’t want to be late. So, bye."
"Hey! I’m not done yet!" Lin Xiaoni ran after Bei Sangyun, continuing to berate her. "What did you do with him on that mountain? After talking about me, you must have seduced him!"
"Believe what you want to believe."
"Are you interested in him? Richard was interested in me first!"
"I’m not interested in him. If you like him so much, then go after him. Just don’t forget that I’ll remind you of what kind of scumbag he is."
"Don’t call him a scumbag! It’s you who has done something! I am sure!"
Bei Sangyun quickened her pace. She did not want to continue a conversation with a deranged and disillusioned Lin Xiaoni.
As she walked, she spotted a familiar figure. Her eyes lit up.
"Believe me, you can have him all to yourself. I don’t care. Besides, I’m interested in someone else."
Bei Sangyun didn’t wait for her response and ran to catch up with that person.
