SSS Ranked Awakening: All My Skills Are at Level 100 -
Chapter 109: Secret Gathering
Chapter 109: Secret Gathering
The number of guards and overall security were much less than those in the royal palace, but for Leon, it was meaningless.
Once he reached inside the castle, instead of roaming around endlessly this time, Leon used his spatial awareness in short bursts to cover a 100-meter radius, scanning the entire castle both on the ground level and underground, due to how the detection formed a sphere around him.
From one end of the castle to another, he scanned everything. He didn’t wander randomly into rooms where secret activities might be happening or enter the bathhouse without purpose.
He located the treasure vault underground, but interestingly, its location wasn’t the typical throne room or behind it. Instead, it was hidden inside their armory, where thousands of weapons were stored. They might not even be common-ranked, but none were of low quality—tens of times better than the first knife he had bought in Greyridge.
He emptied the entire armory into his inventory and contemplated that he should have emptied the armory of the royal palace too, but he didn’t have many regrets. Inside the royal treasury, there were countless weapons, and he had taken all their generational wealth—which was more than enough.
After dealing with the armory, he teleported into the treasure vault. It was only slightly smaller than the one in the royal palace—about 75% of its size.
Inside, as always, there were mountains of gold, and a few golden chests with intricate designs. He had a guess about what might be inside, but this time, he wasn’t in a hurry. He walked closer to one of them and opened it.
It revealed bars of platinum, just as he expected. Though much less than what he had earned inside the dungeon, there were only about 50 in one chest, and a total of three such chests in this whole treasury.
He stored all the gold, treasure chests, and ranked weapons inside his inventory. The highest-ranked weapon here was only uncommon, which disappointed him a little. There were only seven of them. He just stored them with the thought of disappointment.
Seven uncommon-ranked weapons.Like going to a buffet and realizing they only serve plain rice. Sure, it fills you—but where’s the flavor? I’d rather eat my own soup
But he knew the weapons collected from the royal treasury might have rare weapons, which would be perfect for Seraphine, who still used an upper-end uncommon-ranked sword.
Now came the most important part—the skill stones and skill scrolls.
He checked them one by one. There was only one skill scroll that was rare-ranked, and it was related to the water element—perfectly suited for their house, known for their strong water affinity.
Other than that, there were thirteen skill stones—seven of which were common-ranked, the rest uncommon. Most were related to water, with a few to other elements.
There were six skill scrolls in total—one rare, two uncommon, and the rest common. But regardless of rank, he was delighted to obtain them.
He was also excited for the time when he would check what he had gotten from the royal palace.
For now, he still had many more treasure vaults and armories of nobles waiting for him to clean out. Fortunately or unfortunately, the duke’s eldest son was not in the castle, which meant he was likely at the Academy.
It was around sunset currently, but Leon had no intention of stopping for the day.
As he departed for the next duke’s castle.
------
Three hours had passed.
Leon was currently standing inside the treasure vault of the seventh and final duke of the Kingdom of Shampain. As of now, inside the castles of the other dukes, it was chaos, as their entire armory of weapons for their soldiers had vanished into thin air.
It was quite big news in every duke’s house. Almost every duke had checked their treasury, wondering how something could steal all their weapons under such strict protection without leaving a single clue. What if that same thing emptied out their entire treasury? fr eewe(b)nove.l.co\m
They desperately hoped it was only the weapons, but they cried tears of blood when they discovered their accumulation of generational wealth had also disappeared—just like that. And they had no clue who had done it.
There were only two people who came to mind. They had just entered the lower domain a few days ago as guests of the kingdom. Even the headmaster of the Academy had acted like a doting aunt to them and treated them with extreme respect—even going as far as to use honorifics. That was wild to them.
That alone was enough for the higher nobles to know how influential and powerful those two women were. They were the only ones mysterious and capable enough to achieve this feat. Mountains of treasure vanishing without anyone noticing was absurd—but no one had the courage to speak out or do anything. They couldn’t even understand what the motive behind it might be.
Their treasures might be trash compared to the middle domain or beyond—even Academy professors from the middle domain looked down on their collections. Still, the loss was unacceptable.
Secret letters had been sent between all seven duke houses. A meeting was set for the next morning in a secret location. They hoped other dukes suffered too, so they could form an alliance to do something about this.
Keeping silent wasn’t even an option.
Seven powerful nobles, united at last—not for war, not for politics, but because someone robbed them all blind like a phantom tax collector.
Their entire dukedom foundation depended on it.
They would find the culprit—who was likely exactly who they suspected. It was too obvious to them.
------
Now this is a bit unexpected.
Leon stood in front of a mountain of gold, but instead of storing it in his inventory and moving on, he just stood there.
His inventory was full. He had assumed it was unlimited storage, but it seemed there was a limit—and it wasn’t small.
Inside his inventory, there were tons of things stored.
There were quite a few weapons lying between the gold, and it would be a hassle to separate them. What he wanted now was to exchange only the gold for causality. He didn’t know if it would work, but he tried.
He placed his hand on part of the gold mountain and focused on checking the causality of only the gold and jewelry.
A number in shimmering golden color appeared above it.
