Huuu. Damon let out a deep breath to calm himself down. He then slowly opened up all of his system notifications one after the other to see what the hell actually went wrong.

First, there were several blood extraction notifications that he quickly cleared away. He would take a look at these later when he could actually use them. Wait, then how was he able to use the shadow step skill to move Artimius from the terrace into the bedroom?

Damon tried to conjure a ball of blood in his palm, and he immediately got the answer. A blood sphere indeed formed in his hand, and it instantly drained all parts of him, but at the same time, his blood archive was on overdrive.

The simplest skill cost him tremendous mana now, and his blood archive was overworking to bridge that gap. Because of this small loophole, he was pretty much directly using his blood archive to activate a skill. But just a single skill drained him 5% of his entire resources. Clearly, this was not a solution for anything.

His body and his mana circuit were blown to bits, and he might as well be crippled right now.

Damon let out a sigh and then opened the next set of notifications. Instantly, a bunch of titles rolled out.

Damon paused and closed his eyes. So they won the purification raid after all? At least his fuck up was not of total waste. In the end, they had somehow survived the purification raid and came out on the other side.

Despite his current condition, Damon couldn’t help but become excited. He continued to go through the notifications. He needed to know what happened to that damned beast who had brought him to this level. If he was suffering like this, that thing better be fucking dead.

He quickly looked at the next notifications.

Damon’s face twitched. Was this because of all the divine steeds? He did not care anymore. Fuck it. What happened to that bastard wyrm? Show me now?! Then came the notification that he was waiting for the most.

Damon’s eyes widened as he started panting. So he killed that wyrm after all! No wonder he had leveled up all the way to 65! Then what about the purification raid results and his reward? If he actually became the MVP of the purification raid, then as a player...

He quickly moved on to the next notification.

Damon’s heart raced as he went through more and more notifications. Damon stared at the last notification, his hands trembling slightly, not from weakness this time, but from sheer disbelief.

He had done it.

Somehow, through a whirlwind of pain, soul damage, and near-death insanity, he hadn’t just survived... he’d come out of it sitting on a throne of blood and ash. His throne. Niera City had fallen, the purification raid had failed, and the entire Blood Hall now belonged to him. Not symbolically. Not as a guest. But as its Lord.

His lips curled into a slow, crooked grin. He had expected a lord title, alright, but he never thought he would become the lord of the whole freaking thing! This was bloody beautiful!

Even in his near-crippled state, with a shattered core and burning soul, he couldn’t help but enjoy this win! He had fought like a maniac for this.

"I need to see the Hall," Damon grinned. "My Hall." He had dreamed of something like this in his past life many times, but now it had actually come true!

Damon grinned from ear to ear as he casually looked at the last notification. He instantly froze, even momentarily forgetting the wyrm and his personal blood hall.
