Chapter 468 - 456: Face Change

Chapter 468: Chapter 456: Face Change

The situation was predicated on the fact that Roy and his team hadn’t grown suspicious of this airplane.

Chris had been controlling the conversation, and so far, Roy had certainly not detected anything unusual; otherwise, he would have ordered his men to fire by now. Although Chris was still in control of the situation, Roy was beginning to harbor suspicions.

The consequence of detecting something off was heightened vigilance, followed by combat. Roy had already started to doubt Chris’s identity, and if he still couldn’t dispel his doubts, he would have to take some measures, such as demanding that Chris immediately prove his identity—a process that wouldn’t take much time.

Chris could not be forced to prove his identity because he couldn’t do it. If it came to that, it would mean the deception had been exposed, so Chris had to dispel Roy’s doubts.

The only way to dispel the doubts was to allow someone to take a look, and those two individuals who were supposed to fly back to the United States with the airplane were the best candidates.

Every step was a gamble, but it was a gamble based on judgment and analysis.

Next, it would depend on what choice Roy made.

When Chris mentioned that someone was waiting upstairs, Roy asked with surprise, "Could it be that the boss himself has come?"

Chris’s eyebrows shot up, and with a scowl, he glared at Roy, wearing an extremely unsightly expression on his face.

Roy immediately fell silent. He pondered for a moment, turned around, and exchanged glances with the man beside him.

The man wearing glasses nodded at Roy, and then he gestured to the people beside him, and two of them headed toward the airplane’s steps.

Chris murmured, "First class."

Yang Yi couldn’t see what was happening outside, but he could hear every word of Chris’s dialogue. When Chris said "first class," he knew someone was about to come up.

Yang Yi urgently whispered, "Someone is coming up!"

Alexander spoke in a low voice, "Two people, they don’t look threatening. What do we do?"

"Let them in, then take them down!" Yang Yi said urgently.

After speaking, Yang Yi called out in a hasty tone, "Kate."

Kate rose and glanced out the porthole, then immediately crouched down and whispered, "Light brown hair, parted on the left, around 183 centimeters tall."

While speaking, Kate took out a wig and compared it to Yang Yi before urging, "This will do!"

Yang Yi took the wig cap and said urgently, "Have them come to me, then make your move. Don’t let them make any noise!"

The two people had already started ascending the steps, and then the man wearing glasses was the first to walk through the cabin door.

Standing at the cabin entrance, the man with the glasses paused to look over the fully armed individuals standing in the aisle.

Alexander stretched out a finger toward the first-class section and said indifferently, "Back there."

After that, Alexander told the people in the aisle, "It’s safe here. Go carry the cargo in the storage hold."

After pausing briefly, the man with glasses nodded at Alexander, then moved past the soldiers who appeared to be heading to the cargo hold.

No one paid any attention to the man with glasses, and as he passed the last action team member in black, Yang Yi suddenly sprang out from behind a seat.

With lightning speed, Yang Yi wrapped his arm around the neck of the man wearing glasses from behind, then firmly clutched his chin to prevent him from speaking.

Meanwhile, one of the Aurora men lifted his gun and struck the henchman following the bespectacled man on the head with the butt of the weapon.

The man whom Yang Yi had in a chokehold, with one hand gripping his chin, had a look of terror on his face, his legs kicking wildly, and he made hoarse noises from his mouth.

"Don’t move!"

Yang Yi warned in a low voice, but the man he controlled continued to struggle fiercely. Yang Yi shoved four fingers into the man’s mouth and yanked down hard on the man’s chin. Human jaws have a very strong clenching force, and sensing the risk of the controlled man making noise, Yang Yi didn’t hesitate to wrench his right hand forcefully.

With a soft snap, the body of the man Yang Yi controlled went limp and immediately lost the energy to struggle.

It would have been ideal to knock the man unconscious so he could be interrogated later for more information, but rendering someone unconscious required precise control of strength; a single error could allow the person to cry out. However, Yang Yi needed absolute silence at that moment.

So Yang Yi took drastic measures and twisted the man’s neck, killing him.

Holding the now lifeless body, Yang Yi whispered, "Take off his clothes."

An Aurora Mercenary Corps member, wearing a mask making it unclear who it was, came forward, unzipped the corpse’s clothes, then spun the body and quickly stripped it, following up with a muted command, "Put it down."

Yang Yi laid the corpse down in the aisle, and the Aurora man handed a jacket to Yang Yi, who instantly put it on over the clothes peeled from the body.

The Aurora man seemed to have a knack for stripping corpses; his movements were unnervingly efficient. He unlaced the belt with a forceful pull, then yanked off the shoes from the corpse’s feet, and proceeded to drag down the trousers, stripping the body.

While the Aurora man stripped the dead man, Yang Yi was undressing. By the time Yang Yi had his pants off, the Aurora man was handing them to him, and Yang Yi immediately put on the clothes taken from the body.

While Yang Yi was busy putting on clothes, Kate was crouching next to the body.

"Skin tone, facial structure..."

Muttering to herself, Kate carefully examined the corpse’s face, then removed the glasses from the face that had become a corpse. She took out a glob of paste from a box already opened and applied it to the corpse’s face, meticulously creating openings for the lips, nostrils, and eyes before taking out three silicone masks.

By this time, Yang Yi had finished dressing and was squatting beside her.

Kate held a silicone mask on either side of Yang Yi’s face, then said softly, "None of them work; even a cursory glance would reveal the difference. Masks made using a mold have a better effect."

Yang Yi spoke in a low voice, "How long?"

"At least two minutes."

"We have enough time, use the mold mask."

Kate secured a wig on Yang Yi’s head and adjusted it carefully, whispering, "The hair fits."

The dead man was fatter than Yang Yi. Kate continuously applied adhesive to Yang Yi’s face to raise his cheeks and nose higher. Having filled out his face sufficiently, Kate then carefully removed the paste she had applied to the corpse’s face.

Handling it as if cradling water, Kate said cautiously, "Lie down."

Yang Yi lay down, and Kate carefully placed the mask onto his face, whispering, "The mask is very soft, extremely easy to distort. Absolutely do not cough, don’t sneeze, and especially do not touch your face. It’s best not even to speak too loudly."

After fitting the mask onto Yang Yi’s face, Kate then used a spray to adjust the color on Yang Yi’s face. Lastly, she placed the glasses onto his face and whispered, "Done, be sure to keep your movements minimal."
