Nine people going to dinner meant that two cars would be somewhat crowded.

As everyone gathered in the yard to get into their cars, Mike stopped Yang Yi and said, "You’re coming with me."

It appeared that Mike had something to say, so Yang Yi didn’t hesitate and replied, "Okay, I’ll drive."

Yang Yi and Mike were in one car, while Brian would undoubtedly be with the other two members of Pandora Squad—the three of them practically never separated. Xiao Ran and the others naturally shared the other car among the four of them.

Yang Yi was the first to leave the villa, driving the car, with Brian’s car following closely behind, and Xiao Ran drove at the very end.

It was rush hour, and the road was full of cars. Yang Yi merged into the traffic, moving forward with frequent stops, catching the peak of traffic flow. Moving slowly was not a problem, as long as there was no gridlock, one would be thankful.

After getting into the car, Mike seemed to be deep in thought, and after Yang Yi had been driving for a while, he finally let out a long sigh and asked, "Have I been too harsh on Brian?"

Yang Yi was taken a bit by surprise by the question and didn’t know how to respond to Mike.

While Yang Yi hesitated, Mike said in a low voice, "Speak your mind, don’t hold back, don’t worry about offending me, and don’t say things that you don’t mean."

This hatred became a habit, so even though I know someone else might have betrayed us, I still can’t change how I feel about him, Brian is still a traitor who betrayed his brothers for a woman!"

Yang Yi truly didn’t know what to say. How could Mike’s deeply set resentment towards Brian be easily resolved? The fact that they were already cohabiting peacefully under one roof was quite remarkable.

Mike pressed his hand against his head, then spoke somewhat helplessly, "Looking back, I indeed went too far. If he stayed, Paul and Charles would naturally have stayed as well."

Yang Yi replied softly, "But Brian would go to find Kate, we couldn’t have kept him forever."

Mike shook his head and said, "No, if I had changed my attitude, Brian and the others would definitely have stayed. Hatred blinded me, it affected my judgement. The three of them could have been the backbone of the Organization of Water, but I just wanted them to leave."

Taking a deep breath, Mike gave a bitter smile and said, "Hatred clouded my judgement. Pandora Squad was indeed a very powerful force, one that countless people sought after, yet I pushed them away. It was a major mistake on my part."

After speaking, Mike pondered for a long time and finally said, "I will apologize to Brian during dinner."

Yang Yi was stunned for a moment and said, "You are going to apologize to him?"

Mike nodded solemnly, "Yes, I will apologize to him, and then I’ll bring up the past events, steering the conversation toward the real mole. Yang Yi hesitated, while Mike continued, "The power of love and hate are almost equal. Brian has forgotten what that woman looks like; is it still love that drives him to search for her? No, I think not, it should be a belief, a conviction that he must find that woman. If I can shift Brian’s focus from the woman back to the mole, perhaps Brian might change his mind."

Waving his hand, Mike said in a deep voice, "Of course, we’ll help him find the woman, but don’t forget that Paul and Charles’s primary motivation to help Brian isn’t the woman but the mole. Even if Brian truly loves that woman, he can’t ignore the feelings of Paul and Charles."

In a low voice, Yang Yi said, "Mike, I actually think maybe we should let Brian go find Kate. I believe if the Organization of Water ever needs help, Brian would definitely come to our aid."

Mike spoke indifferently, "But the Organization of Water doesn’t need people who can help; it needs people who can be utilized at any time."

Yang Yi was somewhat pained because he really hoped Brian would find Kate soon. Mike’s approach made him feel it was a bit too utilitarian.

Seeing Yang Yi’s conflicted expression, Mike sighed softly, "I’m used to making decisions on my own, and I often ignore your feelings and thoughts. Alright, the Organization of Water is yours. If you want to let Brian and the others go, it’s fine by me. I will still apologize to Brian, as that’s the only way to eliminate future obstacles when Brian comes back. "I see it, is there a problem with that car?" Mike asked.

In a somewhat puzzled tone Yang Yi said, "While I was talking to you, that car had a chance to overtake, but it didn’t. This is the second time this has happened, yet earlier, the same car overtook very recklessly and then got in front of us. So, the driver clearly isn’t someone who drives slowly, the contradictory driving style is strange, it feels like the driver is deliberately staying in that spot."

A regular person wouldn’t pay any attention to the driving style of a specific car on the road, but Yang Yi and Mike were certainly not regular people, therefore, when Mike heard Yang Yi point out the suspicions, he didn’t think Yang Yi was making a fuss about nothing. Instead he immediately said seriously, "Test him out!"
