Schultz suddenly yelled.

"Signal tracking is complete, obtaining the other party’s phone number now!"

Mike took a deep breath, and though the process was somewhat difficult, the result was quite satisfactory.

The voice from the signal tracker started to come through.

"Boss, the target has emerged, just now, she left the hotel entrance, accompanied by an Asian man, but there’s been an incident. Someone is shooting at them, and the target is fleeing with the Asian man."

"Shooting? Who is it?"

The call ended, and the two people in the conversation hung up.

Mike looked at Schultz with a serious face, "How is it?"

With a smug expression, Schultz replied, "Done. In France, the number is registered in Paris. The call was made in Paris too, the target is in Paris!"

Mike breathed a sigh of relief and asked, "It’s not a satellite phone?"

"Definitely not," Schultz assured.

Mike nodded, then spoke into the walkie-talkie, "Mission complete, Sea God and Kate to wait at the rally point. Gambler to take another route to the rally point, over."

Brian softly said in the walkie-talkie, "Should we capture the target for a thorough interrogation, over."

After thinking for a moment, Mike responded, "Do not alarm the target, you and Knife can come back. We need to evacuate before the police arrive, over."

Once the conversation was over, Mike said to those in the room with a stern voice, "Pack up, we’re leaving. We need to head to Paris as fast as possible, move quickly."

Xiao Ran and Paul started to collect the guns promptly, while Mike helped to pack Charles’s camera and telescope. They quickly gathered their things so that as soon as Brian and Charles were back, they could leave.

The group split into two cars and headed off separately towards the agreed rally point.

By the Thames, Mike pulled up alongside Yang Yi and Kate.

Rolling down the window, Mike said in a grave tone to Yang Yi, "Throw the gun that was fired into the river."

Yang Yi pulled out his gun and tossed it into the river, then he and Kate got into the car one after the other.

As soon as he got in the car, Yang Yi asked impatiently, "How is it, where is Bass?"

Mike started the car, then said to Schultz sitting beside him, "Play the recording for him."

It didn’t take long for Yang Yi to hear the call from the watcher, and then Mike said in a deep voice, "Is that Bass’s voice?"

Yang Yi nodded and affirmed, "Yes, that’s Bass’s voice, there is no mistake!"

Mike exhaled and said seriously, "The operation was very successful. We now have Bass’s phone number; he’s in Paris."

Having just come from Paris, Yang Yi was taken aback for a moment and said, "Paris, alright, it looks like we need to head back to Paris as soon as possible."

After finishing, Yang Yi said to Kate, "This is Mike, Mr. Mike Smith, and this is Schultz, our hacker."

Kate nodded and said, "Nice to meet you, I’m really happy to see you."

Driving, Mike just nodded his head, while Schultz turned around with interest and said to Kate, "So, you’re Kate, are you our boss’s girlfriend?"

Yang Yi was somewhat taken aback, and Kate, after glancing at Yang Yi, did not answer Schultz’s question. She just smiled without confirming or denying.

Schultz looked at Yang Yi and then at Kate before turning to Yang Yi with a curious expression, "Isn’t it? But why would Xiao Ran get so angry then?"

Yang Yi was petrified, and then Kate whispered, "Xiao Ran?"

Mike suddenly said in German, "Lightning."

"What’s up?"

"How old are you this year?"

"Seventeen."

"Talking too much isn’t good, don’t you know that?"

"What do you mean?"

Mike said indifferently in German, "If I were you, I wouldn’t say anything. The best choice right now is to keep your mouth shut."

Schultz had a look of sudden realization on his face, but Kate softly said, "Sorry, I speak German..."

Kate also spoke in German.

All three fell silent, the scene somewhat awkward, but Yang Yi helplessly said, "What are you talking about?"

Kate smiled and said, "Nothing."

Yang Yi waved his hand, then said with resignation, "I’m beginning to empathize with Boer’s pain. Alright, I need to learn a few more foreign languages."

Mike cleared his throat and said, "As a spy, you obviously need to learn many languages."
