Yang Yi picked up a pile of clothes for Kate and was about to bring them to the bathroom. During the time Kate was injured and unable to go to the hospital, he had done everything for her, so of course, he didn’t mind these small matters of modesty between men and women anymore.

Yang Yi felt everything was normal; he didn’t think too much about it.

But, Yang Yi made a big mistake, he didn’t hear a sound similar to that of shattering glass.

Kate had taken a shower, changed her clothes, and when she came out again, she looked at Yang Yi with a very steadfast gaze and said, "Let’s go."

After opening the door, Yang Yi took a step forward, but when he noticed Kate hadn’t followed, he looked back and saw Kate taking a last look at the room she had lived in for three years.

Yang Yi closed the room door, walked in front of Kate, and the two arrived at the lobby. Zhang Yong, who was sitting on the sofa, stood up and looked at Yang Yi with a half-smiling gaze.

The hotel’s staff seemed very surprised. Kate smiled at the receptionist at the service desk and whispered, "Thank you, goodbye."

Zhang Yong had already gone to press the elevator button; Yang Yi and Kate entered the elevator. As the elevator descended, Yang Yi pointed at Zhang Yong and whispered, "Sea God."

Kate extended her hand to Zhang Yong and smiled, "Hello, Sea God."

Zhang Yong shook hands with Kate and then immediately said to Yang Yi, "I feel calling myself ’Sea God’ was a wrong decision. I don’t know why, but whenever you guys call me that, it feels like you’re mocking me."

Yang Yi smiled and said, "It’s just a code name."

Zhang Yong shook his head and said, "It’ll have to be changed later. A nickname without the corresponding strength feels uncomfortable to bear."

The elevator stopped, and Zhang Yong said softly, "Sea God is coming out; everyone be careful, over."

Kate looked at Yang Yi and reached for the handgun hidden in her clothes.

Yang Yi gently shook his head and said, "No need."

Kate withdrew her hand.

Zhang Yong was the first to step out of the hotel entrance. After glancing around, he shook his head, then Yang Yi and Kate walked out of the hotel side by side.

This arrangement was actually quite unreasonable. If Kate were to leave the hotel, she should do so stealthily. Disguises and makeup are the most basic methods of concealment, and there should be a car waiting at the door to leave immediately after she emerged.

But Yang Yi and his group made no effort to go unnoticed; so, makeup was definitely out of the question, and leaving by car was impossible.

The three of them deliberately stood at the entrance for a while, then they heard Charles say softly over the walkie-talkie, "The target has no reaction, over."

The situation was a bit awkward. Too unprofessional a surveillance would not be good. If Yang Yi only wanted to slip away with Kate, the current situation couldn’t be better, but they wanted to make themselves known.

A moment later, Mike whispered into the walkie-talkie, "Go back in, come out again, and check the location of the observer, over."

Yang Yi tugged slightly at Kate and whispered, "Let’s go back in."

The three of them returned to the entrance of the hotel, and after a short wait, Zhang Yong stayed inside without moving, while Yang Yi and Kate walked out of the hotel entrance.

They lingered at the entrance for a while, even deliberately glancing at the house where the observer was located. After all, it was only fifty or sixty meters away in a straight line; if the observer was dutiful, it would be impossible not to see them.

But after two minutes, Charles said in a low voice, "The target has not reacted, I think he must have fallen asleep..., over."

There was silence on the radio for a moment, then Mike said helplessly, "Too amateurish, go back in."

Yang Yi and Kate re-entered the hotel, and Kate asked with a puzzled face, "What’s going on?"

Spreading his hands, Yang Yi said in frustration, "The person monitoring you has fallen asleep and didn’t notice us leaving."

Kate opened her mouth, then said quietly, "I suddenly feel that being locked up here for three years, paying a million British pounds in protection fees every year, is completely unnecessary..."

Zhang Yong said with a frown, "Otherwise, we’ll capture the observer and interrogate him for answers."

After a moment, Mike said softly on the radio, "Change of strategy, God of Gamblers goes to the street, Sea God and Kate exit the hotel, then the God of Gamblers opens fire, Sea God engages in a fierce gunfight with the God of Gamblers before leaving."

Yang Yi was startled, and said, "A gunfight? Alright, I understand."

Mike’s intention was clear. Since the observer had fallen asleep and had not detected Kate’s departure, they would make some noise to ensure he heard them. Of course, this could have some consequences, but they certainly couldn’t keep going in and out of here waiting for the observer to wake up and then notice.

Zhang Yong said to Yang Yi very seriously, "When we exchange fire later, make sure you aim your gun higher. Don’t even think about aiming near me to make it look real, you hear me?"

Yang Yi said helplessly, "Even if I aimed and tried to hit you, I probably wouldn’t be able to hit you, don’t worry."

"I know I won’t get hit if you aim at me, but I’m worried about you accidentally hitting the mark, so you’d better shoot at your feet or up in the air. No shooting within a twenty-meter radius around me, be careful."

Still not reassured, Zhang Yong repeated his instructions to Yang Yi before leaving the hotel. Once he was about forty or fifty meters away, Mike said in a deep voice, "Get ready, Sea God, move out, prepare, fire!"

Zhang Yong aimed his submachine gun towards where Yang Yi was and fired a shot that hit a car not far from Yang Yi, giving him quite a start.

Yang Yi drew his gun and fired a shot toward the road less than ten meters in front of him.

In the dead of night, the gunshots were extremely piercing.

Zhang Yong said in a deep voice over the radio, "Hide behind the car to your left, I’m going to shoot to the right."

Yang Yi pulled Kate behind a car, then Zhang Yong fired a burst of bullets at the surface of the road.

Yang Yi stood up from behind the car and fired again at the road, then he hurriedly said to Kate, "Stand up, get ready to run with me."

Kate stood up, turned her head towards the observer’s room, paused momentarily, and then Yang Yi pulled Kate and started running to the side.

At that moment, Charles suddenly said on the radio, "The target is making a call, phone signals are starting to connect, tracking initiated, over!"

It turned out the whole act was not in vain. Yang Yi and Kate quickly ran ahead, while Zhang Yong followed them closely with his gun raised.

After a short while, Mike said softly on the radio, "Signal tracking complete, mission accomplished, team withdraw, over."
