At the entrance of the special prison area, several guards were still discussing Zhang Yong’s escape with shocked faces; it was a big deal for everyone in the prison, and they were no exception.

Clint was on duty, but it was the night shift he was finishing, and Yang Yi was just starting his.

Coming out of the special prison area gate, Colin saw Yang Yi and pulled him aside, then whispered, "Did you see it just now?"

"I saw it."

Clint took a deep breath, then whispered urgently, "You must not know what happened last night! The beast Wayne is dead! Someone beat him to death!"

Yang Yi said with a look of astonishment, "How could he have been beaten to death by someone!"

Clint whispered urgently, "I have to transfer out of this prison. I can’t work here anymore, it’s too dangerous. Last night it was very late, someone came to the special prison area, then the order came from above to take him to the beast Wayne’s cell."

Yang Yi asked nervously, "Then what happened?"

Clint exhaled and whispered, "I had just opened the cell door when that beast suddenly leaped out! They started fighting immediately, I couldn’t see clearly, and then, Beast Wayne lay dead on the ground, the other man just turned and left, I still don’t understand what happened!"

After saying this in a rush, Clint said with a face full of fear, "I think I’m in big trouble! Buddy, I’m in trouble! I don’t know how I got involved in this, but someone’s got to take responsibility, and what if I’m silenced?"

Just then, the guard watching the special detention area called out loudly, "Hey, 3387, it’s time for you to go back in!"

Clint turned to the guard and said, "Wait a minute, wait a minute, I have some chores for him to do, I was telling him where to clean."

Yang Yi asked urgently in a low voice, "Wasn’t Beast Wayne handcuffed? How could he fight with someone? Also, didn’t the two say anything to each other before they fought?"

Clint whispered back, "Speak? No speaking! I had just opened the cell door when Beast Wayne stood up, and then he suddenly got rid of his handcuffs and leg irons, I don’t know how he did it, and then I was pushed over by Beast Wayne, and just in that second, Beast Wayne’s neck broke! The bone pierced right through his neck! Then that man, that man coughed a few times and spat out some blood, and then left like that, he didn’t say anything."

Swallowing, Clint said with a mournful face, "Brother, will I be offed? They didn’t say anything, if you’re in cahoots with that man, could you let me go, please, you know me, I’m just a small-time prison guard, and they said nothing, I don’t know anything..."

Yang Yi asked in a low voice, "Wait, what are you thinking? Do you think I would kill you?"

With a mournful face, Clint said, "Brother, I know you’re good pals with that escaped prisoner, I bet you have something to do with him, he’s not a normal prisoner, so you must not be a normal prisoner either, now I get it, I’m caught up in something big, I don’t know anything, please spare me."

No wonder Clint was spilling his guts to Yang Yi. Now Yang Yi understood what Clint was worried about.
