Chapter 1166: Chapter 1171: Luring the Tiger Away from the Mountain

The meal was finally finished, everyone had finished eating.

Yang Yi had to admit that he had just enjoyed a good meal. Although the atmosphere was a bit unusual, in terms of flavor, this was the most satisfying meal he had eaten in the past year.

Even Yang Yi himself found it curious—on the eve of a major battle, he still had the mood to savor the taste of the food. What was even more surprising was that Danny and the others, also on the brink of this looming battle, still had the presence of mind to prepare such a delicious meal.

The Dark Night Knight group really wasn’t made of ordinary people.

"We’re full, we’ve had our fill of rest these past few days. If no one has any further issues, let’s begin."

Danny slowly took a sip of his tea, then said in a deep voice to his brothers, "You all heard what Egg said earlier. The first step in taking care of Bashanov is finding his location. Instead of looking for ourselves, let’s buy the information and figure out where Bashanov is."

Two men immediately stood up, but at that moment, Yang Yi gave a slight cough and then spoke in a low tone, "Captain, I know where Bashanov is. He’s at Norfolk Palace, and he doesn’t have that many bodyguards with him."

Danny fixed his gaze on Yang Yi, then nodded and said, "Good. Once again, you’re ahead of the curve."

Norfolk Palace was one of the Russian Gang’s properties, but it was essentially just a nightclub. To be honest, for a boss of Bashanov’s stature with significant influence in London, frequently staying at a nightclub instead of somewhere more befitting seemed somewhat beneath his status.

But there was no helping it—Bashanov had a particular fondness for such places.

The term "Russian Gang" was common slang, as was "Russian Mafia," but to be fair, the group didn’t have an official name. Since the core and majority of its members were Russian, it naturally came to be called the Russian Gang.

Like most criminal syndicates worldwide, their profit model was straightforward: they operated vice establishments, provided loan sharking services, and engaged in drug trafficking. However, the primary business of this London branch of the Russian Gang was human trafficking.

They lured or abducted young women from Eastern Europe to Western Europe, forcing them into the sex trade. This had become a fully integrated human trafficking operation, and the Russian Gang undoubtedly played a critical role in the supply chain.

It would be an understatement to call them utterly devoid of humanity.

The Russian Gang’s main source of income was human trafficking. Norfolk Palace was one of their key operating centers, and whenever they acquired exceptionally beautiful girls, they would first send them to Norfolk Palace for Bashanov to enjoy before anyone else.

So, it was no surprise that Bashanov preferred Norfolk Palace over his own home.

Danny was silent for a long time, then lightly shook his head and said, "How do we pull this off? Norfolk Palace has too many people. Getting Bashanov tied up and kneeling at our feet to apologize without triggering a massacre is going to be tricky."

After finishing, Danny looked at Yang Yi and said, "We need to create an opportunity. A direct confrontation at Norfolk Palace won’t work; we’ll have to wait for Bashanov to leave the place. Striking on the way would be ideal."

Yang Yi nodded and replied, "I haven’t had time to think through the exact plan yet, but I suspect someone else already has. Since we’re about to act, let me call them in."

Danny spread his hands and said, "Alright, let’s hear what they’ve got."

Yang Yi made a quick phone call to Anna. Before long, Anna, Brian, and Zhang Yong arrived together.

As soon as Zhang Yong entered the room, he glared at Danny and then said, "Getting attacked on your own turf is bad enough, but getting captured alive too? Can you not be more embarrassing?"

Danny looked utterly exasperated and muttered, "I got careless. But could you shut up?"

"Oh, so now I’m not even allowed to speak?"

Danny’s expression turned into one of dismay as he waved Zhang Yong off disdainfully, grumbling, "You never say anything useful, so shut it. I’m already in a terrible mood, and I don’t want to deal with you. If you keep going on, don’t blame me for snapping at you."

Zhang Yong perked up, taking a provocative stance in front of Danny. "So you screw up, but I can’t call you out? Did I say anything untrue? Dark Night Knight is already a terrible name, and now you let the Russian Gang trample all over you. Aren’t you ashamed?"

Danny’s face darkened further, but Zhang Yong was relentless. He wagged his finger at Danny and said, "What, you’re gonna snap at me? Go ahead, do something. Hit me if you dare. Oh, wait, you won’t, because you can’t beat me. Even two of you wouldn’t stand a chance."

Danny’s expression grew uglier by the second, but Zhang Yong showed no mercy, still fuming. "Fine, so you were caught off guard. But how on earth did you let yourself end up captured? Explain that to me."

"Shut up! A whole squad of cops surrounded us! Did you want me to fight the bloody police?"

Finally losing his cool, Danny shouted, then immediately turned his face away and looked at Yang Yi. "Can we start now?"

Yang Yi gave a couple of light coughs to signal Anna. At this moment, however, Brian stepped forward and spoke loudly, "We’ve already investigated. Bashanov doesn’t have many people guarding him—at most ten. Right now, they should have already gotten word of Danny’s release and are bound to respond accordingly."

Brian spread his hands and continued, "So, our suggestion is for Danny to lead a team to draw Bashanov’s attention and make him focus his forces on you. Meanwhile, we’ll go straight for Bashanov himself."

Despite often coming across as Anna’s echo, Brian was still the leader of Pandora Box. When he actually put his mind to it, he was no slouch—on the contrary, he could be quite formidable.

Anna nodded slightly, which made Yang Yi trust Brian’s plan even more.

Sure, Brian was capable, but Anna’s approval was always more convincing.

Yang Yi turned to Danny and asked, "Captain, what’s your take?"

After pondering for a moment, Danny said, "Not being able to go in guns blazing is an issue. Alright, then. Let’s make it look like we’re preparing for an attack to draw the Russian Gang’s attention away. The key here is that they’re unaware of your involvement, right? The cops wouldn’t have leaked anything about your position, would they?"

"Absolutely not."

Danny nodded and said, "Good, then let’s do it. Grab your gear, everyone. Remember, we’re just creating a distraction—not engaging in full-scale combat. Keep that in mind."

After saying this, Danny patted Yang Yi on the shoulder and said, "I’ll lure them out, and you flank them. Try to bring Bashanov back alive for me. I’m counting on you."
