"I don’t have any suitable recommendations for you, but I can provide the people you need."

"I’ll give you an intelligence collection team that I’ll call back from abroad under the pretext of a vacation. However, they can only be at your disposal for a short period, up to three months. Yang Yi left Aaron’s office and stood at the door for a while, pondering what to do next.

The simplest method would be to bring in Anton as a secret weapon. His skills with women were far more reliable than Yang Yi taking action himself.

Yang Yi was somewhat vexed, but he went to Walter’s office right away. He didn’t visit Porter; under the current circumstances, there was no need to.

In Walter’s office, Yang Yi said with a troubled face, "I have to tell you some not so good news, I apologize. I’ve been reassigned to the Action Department."

Walter now smiled genuinely. He stood up, grasped Yang Yi’s hand, and shook it vigorously, "I wish you success soon. If you need any help, just let me know, buddy."

Having conveyed the intended message, and with the rest of the conversation lacking substance, Yang Yi left Walter’s office after a short stay and returned to his home.

He had bought the house but hadn’t had the time to live in it.

When he opened the door, Yang Yi carefully checked the marks he had left. No one had entered his home, but once inside, he did not dare to let his guard down and began a thorough inspection.

It was virtually impossible for one person, without specialized equipment, to check the entire house for listening devices and cameras.

So, Yang Yi did not check every room. He thoroughly inspected an unused room, ensuring there were no cameras or listening devices. Then, he took out a computer and logged into a Facebook account.

Not using a fixed account, nor a fixed password, even all the world’s cryptography experts combined could not decode Yang Yi’s seemingly normal messages because they were not codes at all. They were pre-arranged signals between him and Annastasia. Only they knew what the appearance of that sentence represented.

Yang Yi conveyed a single message: he had established contact with Aaron, and the second phase of the plan was now successful.
