Mo Chou’s plan of action was to use her hacking skills to find Lu Jinhai.

Since she had failed to find anything about his phone, she decided to look him up on the national database.

It was a lot tougher to hack into the national database but for Mo Chou it was a piece of cake.

To her dismay, the things that she ended up finding weren’t of any help at all.

All the information stated there were the things that she already knew such as his name and address but everything else was blank.

There was no mention of his parents’ name or his education.

Mo Chou even tried hacking into her university’s database but came up with nothing. His student record was also non-existent, everything had been wiped clean.

Mo Chou started feeling frustrated when she couldn’t find anything relevant even after her hands started cramping from all the hacking. She had been cooped up in her room for days.

Everyone could sense that she was not in a good mood, they were concerned but had been giving her space.

Old master Liu had also visited a couple of times to make sure that Mo Chou was completely recovered but he never stayed for too long.

Mo Li had been personally bringing food for Mo Chou and checking on her as well.

She was quite happy that Mo Chou had been resting in her room at first but she started getting a little concerned after seeing her hunched over her laptop every time she entered her room.

Mo Li decided to do something to cheer Mo Chou up. She wanted to take Mo Chou out to have some fun.

She remembered that Mo Chou had always loved a good shopping spree.

Although she hadn’t shown any interest in shopping lately, Mo Li thought that she was just trying to be more sensible.

In order to convince Mo Chou to go out, Mo Li even took her secret weapon aka Baobao to Mo Chou’s room.

Mo Li held the soft kitten and thought ’Baobao will definitely cheer my darling right up’.

Hence, when Mo Chou opened the door to her room, the scene that greeted her was Mo Li chasing after Baobao with a small pink frilly dress in her hand.

She was so dumbfounded that for a second she even forgot that she was afraid of cats.

"What are you doing mom"? Mo Chou didn’t know whether to laugh or cry for a second.

Taking advantage of the distraction, Baobao managed to successfully escape from Mo Li’s ’claws’ and ran away.

Mo Li finally answered Mo Chou’s question and said, " I wanted to bring Baobao to you so that you would feel better. I even prepared a cute dress for it but Baobao ran away". Mo Li held up the dress that she had prepared to show Mo Chou.

"Ohh, that’s too bad". Although Mo Chou said that, she was quite glad that Baobao had run away.

She was still scared of cats after all and she was also pretty sure that Baobao was the one who had been leaving dead insects on her bed. She didn’t know why the demon cat was doing it and thankfully insects didn’t bother her much but it was still quite disgusting to find a giant roach on her bed.

Mo Chou shuddered at the memory and hurriedly pulled her mother inside the room just in case the demon cat decided to return.

Once they both had sat down, Mo Li finally bought the topic of going out. She whipped out a pout and coupled with her sad puppy eyes, Mo Chou stood no chance against her.

Mo Li was adamant on going the very day and had already planned everything so Mo Chou helplessly got ready and followed her out.

Liu Qiang had a rare free day. He had been working non stop in order to sort out everything that he had missed in the company lately due to multiple incidents.

He had been hoping to spend a nice day with his dear wife and cute little daughter. He greeted them cheerfully when they arrived in the living room where he had been sitting.

"Ohh hi hubby, we were just leaving. Don’t wait for us and have dinner first" Mo Li said in a rush as she led Mo Chou out of the door.

Mo Chou happened to glance back and saw her dad’s stupefied expression. She giggled and thought ’ I don’t know how I ever found him rigid, he’s clearly a wife’s slave’.

Like Mo Li said, she had prepared a full day of outing.

They first went to get spa treatment in the same place as the last time, this time thankfully with no annoying people and went to enjoy a nice lunch at a famous spot.

Mo Chou actually found herself enjoying everything. She felt refreshed.

After they were done having lunch, Mo Li took Mo Chou for a shopping spree. After shopping to their heart’s content, Mo Chou thought that they were done for the day when Mo Li said, "Actually I want to go to one more stop before we head home. Have you heard of the luxury perfume line ’phoenix’"?

Mo Chou nodded her head. ’Phoenix’ was a world wide famous perfume brand, so naturally she had heard of it.

"Actually they approached me recently to talk about a cooperation," said Mo Li.

Mo Chou had completely forgotten that her mom owned a clothing brand. Since she refused to take the help of Liu Qiang and ran it all on her own, it was still just a domestic brand. Mo Li was not facing a loss but the brand itself was not a super popular or luxury one like ’phoenix’.

Mo Li continued and said, "My clothing line is just a small domestic one which shouldn’t really have attracted the attention of a brand like ’phoenix’ so I’m a little sceptical. I just want to go there today and talk to the manager if there has been a mistake".

Mo Chou readily agreed. She knew Mo Li was really passionate about her brand and would be absolutely delighted if she could collaborate with a brand like ’phoenix’. It would help take it to the next level.

They arrived at the store and were greeted by the staff. After observing a little, it could be seen that the staff were very well trained and polite. Mo Li asked Mo Chou to look around and buy anything that caught her fancy as she went to find the manager.

Mo Chou walked around the store trying various samples. She finally understood the hype because each and every scent she inhaled was delightful. She was not even someone who was a fan of wearing perfume but the perfumes there made her want to buy every single one she tried on.

Mo Chou decided to buy a few bottles for herself and some for her mom as well.

While she was walking around the store, Mo Chou happened to take a look outside through the glass. It was a one way glass window and only the people inside the store could see through it.

She saw someone who seemed to be sneaking around suspiciously.
