’A mansion’?

Everyone was in shock that Lu Jinhai said that he had a whole mansion on the island so casually.

"Everyone get your things and follow me, I’ll call the driver to pick us up", said Lu Jinhai and started dialing a number on his phone.

Li Chen, Huang Chunhua and Mo Chou quickly packed up their stuff and waited for Lu Jinhai to finish his call.

After finishing the call, Lu Jinhai came over and told them to follow him. "What about the skipper and the chefs"? Mo Chou asked, looking at the rapidly darkening sky.

"They will follow us after packing up here, don’t worry I already arranged the vehicles".

As the car couldn’t pick them up on the beach, they had to walk a little.

Mo Chou had already accepted the fact that Lu Jinhai had a mansion, she hadn’t really known before about just how rich he was, ’his parents are probably filthy rich too’.

They obediently called their parents and informed them of the situation. Huang Chunhua’s mother was a little worried but Li Chen came to the rescue and reassured her.

Mo Li was also concerned about where Mo Chou would stay, but when she heard that her friend had a mansion near the beach, she was relieved.

The butler took over and showed each of the girls their own rooms. Li Chen asked Lu Jinhai if she and Huang Chunhua could stay in the same room as she knew that Huang Chunhua wouldn’t be able to rest properly in a foreign room without some comfort.

Lu Jinhai ordered the butler to give them the largest guest room.

There were also maids at the mansion. Lu Jinhai would have preferred to only have the butler serve them as the maids were not employed by him but his mother, but he didn’t send the maids away in case the girls needed some assistance.

Mo Chou noticed that one of the maids who was there was looking at them with hostility, especially her, Li Chen and Huang Chunhua. She observed her sneakily and saw that the maid was looking at Lu Jinhai with infatuation and a blush on her cheeks.

Suddenly, Mo Chou felt herself get a little irritated and angry. She knew that it was none of her business if the maid liked Lu Jinhai or not, especially when Lu Jinhai had not even glanced at the maids but she still couldn’t help but feel as if someone was eyeing something that she wanted.

Mo Chou followed the butler and entered her room. Lu Jinhai had told everyone that dinner would be ready in an hour and they could freshen up and hang out however they wanted.

The problem was that Mo Chou really wanted to take a bath, but she hadn’t bought a change of clothes with her. She felt a little itchy because of playing with sand and saltwater the whole day.

Just when she was thinking about asking Lu Jinhai, she heard a knock on the door. She opened it to find two maids, one of which was the hostile one standing there with clothes.

The maid, who wasn’t hostile, smiled politely and informed Mo Chou that Lu Jinhai had prepared a few sets of clothes for all the girls.

She handed the clothes in her hand and looked at the other maid who rudely tossed the clothes that were in her hands. She was about to turn around and walk away acting like nothing big had happened, when Mo Chou spoke up, "Is this how you treat your employer’s guests"?

Mo Chou really couldn’t take her attitude, she was acting as if it was her territory that they had invaded or something.

The ’normal’ maid looked a little nervous hearing Mo Chou’s words and said, " apologize quickly". But the maid just glared at Mo Chou and said, "why should I apologize to a s**t"?

That was the last straw for Mo Chou, she walked over angrily and gave the rude maid a tight slap. The maid held her cheek and looked at Mo Chou in disbelief, "how dare you"?

"No, it’s more like how dare you? Do you think you are the mistress of the house"? Mo Chou said angrily.

"Haha, what would a b***h like you know? Young master is in love with me and he is going to marry me in the future" the maid said in a rather convincing way.

Mo Chou was stunned for a moment, she knew better than to believe the maids words but she couldn’t help but feel a pang on her chest.

Right then, Lu Jinhai appeared and asked, "What happened? Why are you outside? Do you not like the clothes? I can get you more, just tell me what you want". He didn’t even glance at anyone else, from the moment he arrived, his attention was fully on Mo Chou.

It made her instantly feel much better but the maid looked as if she was in disbelief.

"Young master, this b***h slapped me, why are you being so nice to her"? The maid said hysterically.

"Oh, you slapped her? She must have done something wrong, don’t worry, I’ll fire her immediately" Lu Jinhai told Mo Chou.

"And who are you exactly? How dare you call my guest whatever you want? Get out of here before I call security to drag you out" he said addressing the maid.

The maid was shocked hearing his words and started crying, "young master, how could you not remember me? You love me, you even saved me from drowning. You even asked the mistress to increase my pay because you love me".

Lu Jinhai finally remembered the maid, he had saved a maid from drowning in the outdoor pool once but he had just done it because he didn’t want anything unlucky to happen while he was at the mansion, the only reason he took the initiative to save her was because no other person was around but it seemed like he had made a mistake as the maid had started getting delusional.

"Oh, so it’s you".

The maid’s eyes lit up and nodded rapidly before she could say anything, Lu Jinhai added, "I only saved you because I didn’t want bad luck while I was staying here and I don’t know anything about your payment. Stop your nonsense and get out of here before I make you".

Mo Chou understood everything after hearing their conversation, she felt that it was kind of funny how the maid had deluded herself so much.

The maid broke down completely but still didn’t move, rather she pounced on Lu Jinhai, wanting to cling onto him.

Lu Jinhai obviously didn’t let her succeed and dodged making her fall onto the floor. Then he called the security guards who quickly arrived and took the dazed looking maid away.

"You can go, warn all the maids on my behalf so that something like this won’t happen again" Lu Jinhai ordered the other maid who was standing by the side silently.

The maid scurried away, relieved that she hadn’t been fired too. The young master seemed really angry after all and she really didn’t want to lose this easy and high paying job.

It was only Lu Jinhai and Mo Chou left now. "I’m sorry about that, I don’t have time to manage everyone here" Lu Jinhai said apologetically.

Mo Chou gave a sly smile and said, "don’t worry about it, I enjoyed the whole show".

Lu Jinhai looked at the mischievous looking Mo Chou, he wanted to pinch her tender looking cheeks to punish her but stopped himself.

He saw that she had still not cleaned up and knew that she must be uncomfortable, so he said, "I’ll get the butler to get you another change of clothes, don’t use the one that the maids gave you".

"Hmm, okay" Mo Chou agreed as she really didn’t want to use the clothes that the crazy maid had given her, who knew if she had tampered with it.

"Dinner will be ready in half an hour, do you want anything else"?

"Nope, just a change of clothes is enough, you can go do your stuff, I’ll go downstairs with Li Chen and Huang Chunhua after freshening up" said Mo Chou.

Lu Jinhai did have something to do, so he agreed and walked away.

He hadn’t planned on letting the maid go so easily after he heard her calling Mo Chou a b***h right in front of him. He called the butler over and asked him about the situation.

The butler informed him that he had thrown her out already but Lu Jinhai was not satisfied, so he asked the butler to ’deal’ with her properly.

The butler immediately understood and started pitying the maid but he still followed Lu Jinhai’s instructions.

The maid got up from the ground after she was hauled out by the security and thrown outside. Her eyes were red from crying and anger, she still couldn’t believe what had happened. ’It must be that b***h who tricked the young master, just you wait’.

She hurriedly took out her phone and dialed a number.

"Hello" came a voice from the phone.

"Mistress, It’s me, young master has been bewitched by a s**t, you have to do something".
