"Darling, are you fine? I heard that you were attacked by that lunatic in the University bathroom?" Mo Li’s concerned voice came from the phone as soon as Mo Chou picked up the call.

Mo Chou wanted to laugh. It was the first time she had heard her sweet mother call someone a lunatic but An Daiyu did deserve it after all.

"You don’t have to worry mom, I am completely fine. There isn’t even a scratch on me" Mo Chou said in a reassuring voice.

"But I heard that she had a knife and all" Mo Li still couldn’t calm down.

"Yeah but I quickly restrained her and the guards arrived very quickly. She didn’t get a chance to use the knife at all" said Mo Chou.

"How are the bodyguards doing their job? They shouldn’t have let An Daiyu enter the University in the first place, they deserve to be punished" said Mo Li angrily.

Mo Chou didn’t really want Mo Li to punish the bodyguards as she was the one who had told them to stay at the University entrance and forbade them to follow her around.

An Daiyu was a sneaky girl and had clearly dressed up as a University student. She had probably donned a disguise and taken it off before meeting Mo Chou.

Hence, Mo Chou told Mo Li how she was the one who had instructed the bodyguards and it was not entirely the bodyguards fault.

Although Mo Li was angry, she was a fair and pretty soft hearted person, after hearing Mo Chou’s explanation, she decided that she would not be harsh to the bodyguards.

Mo Li knew that she didn’t have to personally punish the bodyguards anyway. Liu Qiang who was listening to their conversation on the side would definitely not dare let the bodyguards go lightly in case Mo Li got more angry. (Soft hearted who? The bodyguards "....")

Mo Li asked Mo Chou if she should come pick her up but Mo Chou denied. She told her that she would come home like usual and how she didn’t want to miss classes.

Mo Li agreed as she thought about how Mo Chou had been working hard and had gotten good grades. She finally cut the call after promising Mo Chou that she would cook dinner for her personally.

Mo Chou, ’..... you really don’t have to’.

After Mo Li cut the call, she wanted to go and start cooking immediately. ’Maybe I should cook all the dishes for dinner’.

She looked at Liu Qiang who was standing beside her like a sad abandoned puppy. "Hmph, I hope I don’t hear about that girl An Daiyu anymore".

Knowing that Mo Li was giving him a way out, Liu Qiang immediately agreed and started buttering her. Mo Li was not angry anymore and was delighted when she heard her husband’s flattering and sweet words but she still pretended to ignore him and went to the kitchen instead.

Liu Qiang obviously knew that she was going to the kitchen to cook food and really wanted to stop her but he knew that she would get mad at him again if he hindered her cooking for her daughter so he could only helplessly watch her back as she walked away.

It was still early, so by dinner time Mo Li would probably manage to cook a lot of dishes, maybe she would even insist on cooking the whole meal.

’Forget it, I am willing to sacrifice my taste buds for my wife’s happiness’.

Mo Chou finally fully noticed the weight on her shoulders when she put down her phone.

She used her peripheral vision to look at Lu Jinhai to find that he had his eyes closed, she didn’t know if he was sleeping though as the weight on her shoulder wasn’t uncomfortable or heavy at all.

Still, the moment Mo Chou looked at Lu Jinhai laying peacefully with his eyes closed, she couldn’t think of anything. Her mind was completely blank because Lu Jinhai literally looked like an angel.

The sharp contours of Lu Jinhai’s face seemed more soft, his eyelashes were long and full, casting a shadow on his cheeks.

Mo Chou could smell a faint and refreshing smell coming from him. ’Haah, how can someone be this_this damn perfect’?

Mo Chou couldn’t bear taking her eyes off of Lu Jinhai. Shouldn’t she fully enjoy it when such a nice view was placed right before her eyes?

The same student, who had taken Mo Chou and Lu Jinhai’s picture earlier, was pleased as she had gotten a lot of likes and even gained some followers after uploading the picture.

She had decided to take one more picture sneakily to please her followers and had come back near the pavilion where Mo Chou and Lu Jinhai were staying. This time she wanted a better quality picture, so she pretended to pass by and arrived a little closer.

When she saw Lu Jinhai resting his head on Mo Chou’s shoulders and Mo Chou looking at the seemingly asleep Lu Jinhai in a mesmerized manner, the girl felt like she was too lucky and had hit a jackpot. She sneakily stood behind a tree and took a few photos, making sure they were good quality and not blurry.

The student was quite clever, so she didn’t post the pictures right away, she first left a message on her weibo saying that she had more candid pictures of Mo Chou and her ’prince charming’ which she would post after an hour.

This way, she gained more followers as people didn’t want to miss the photos, so they followed her so they would know when she updated.

Satisfied, the girl left as she wasn’t really a stalker and just wanted to share some beautiful photos with the world.

Lu Jinhai was actually fully awake and alert. While Mo Chou had been talking to her mother, he had been listening quietly and was even lulled to a sleepy state while listening to Mo Chou’s voice.

But as soon as Mo Chou put her phone down, he was wide awake. He had wanted to see what Mo Chou would do seeing him leaning on her shoulder, so he had stayed in the same position giving the illusion that he was asleep.

He could feel Mo Chou’s gaze. Mo Chou hadn’t moved or tried to get him off her shoulder like he had guessed she would, rather she was looking at his face and even adjusted her position slightly so that she could look at him properly.

Lu Jinhai was obviously very pleased and wanted time to freeze so that he could forever lean on her while she kept her eyes on him. The thought of him being the only one she ever looked at was the most satisfying and pleasant thought to Lu Jinhai.

But to Lu Jinhai’s dismay, the bell indicating that the class was over started ringing, jolting Mo Chou out of her daze.

Mo Chou was actually a little ashamed of herself, wasn’t she taking advantage of Lu Jinhai who was sleeping peacefully by acting like a creep?

Mo Chou patted Lu Jinhai on the arm and Lu Jinhai who was ’asleep’ woke up. He gave her a sleepy looking smile which almost took Mo Chou’s breath away but thankfully she didn’t bumble around like a fool. Mo Chou stood up from the bench they were sitting on and took her stuff saying, "let’s go, we might be late to the last class if we don’t head over now".

"Mmhm" Lu Jinhai replied with a playful look in his eyes. He really thought Mo Chou was too cute when she tried to act casual when she was obviously flustered.

Mo Chou didn’t wait for Lu Jinhai to get off the bench and had already started walking towards the direction of the classes.

Lu Jinhai caught up with her and just walked behind her. He was content just being by her side. He let out a yawn and decided that he would catch up on some sleep for the day in the class. Lu Jinhai always took naps when he was in the class with Mo Chou as Mo Chou was the only one whose presence soothed him and helped him sleep.

Without Mo Chou around, the most Lu Jinhai would get was about an hour or two of fitful sleep so the naps that he took at the University were really helpful.

Since he had been attending university every single day, he had to work the whole night in order to finish his work at his company and even listen to Huo Zhai’s reports regarding the other ’buisness’ he was incharge of.

In the class, Mo Chou didn’t dare look at the sleeping Lu Jinhai, she didn’t want to be any further bewitched by that face of his after all.

When Mo Chou arrived home, all her family members were actually gathered in the living room. They all knew that she was unharmed but still wanted to comfort her in case she had been frightened.

Even the usually quiet Liu Dai was acting enthusiastic and making sure that Mo Chou knew that nothing like this would ever happen again.

Mo Chou was nearly moved to tears because of the love and care she received from her family.
