Sleeping With The CEO
Chapter 207: Too Grown To Run

Chapter 207: Too Grown To Run

Emily was pretty sure that given the circumstances that she was in, she was living the dream of some women out there and more than quite a few men, if she were being honest.

Now, after two uneventful nights, on night number three, something had finally happened...again. She had woken up to Derek Haven’s dick-pressed firmly against her.

And now, the second time that it had happened, his cock had not just been pressed against her.

He had also been rutting against her in his sleep.

That had woken her up, and unsure of what to do, Emily had just lain there, wondering whether or not to wake Derek up. Luckily for her, he had woken up on his own and Emily had known instantly that he was awake because the moment Derek had become aware.

All movement on his part had stopped. Then she had felt him gently trying to move away from her. Obviously, he had been trying not to wake her, unaware that Emily had woken up way before him. When he had finally managed to make it out of bed.

It would have been a small mercy for Emily to close her eyes and pretend as though she had been asleep. To act like she had not felt him against her. But that lie, no matter how small it would have been, would not have helped anything. Instead, it would have prolonged things.

Making it harder for the two of them to just talk about the issue.

So rather than closing her eyes. Emily had opened them wide, making sure to stare directly into Derek’s green ones when he had looked down at her. She had expected him to say ’hi or good morning,’

Just anything, really. But instead, Derek had just stared at her for a short while, as quiet as a church mouse. Then the next thing that Emily had known, there had been no Derek standing beside the bed. She had never seen anyone move that fast. But all that Emily had done was blink, and when she opened her eyes again. It was to the sound of the bathroom door clicking shut. And she heard the lock turn for good measure.

It should not have been funny.

Obviously the man was embarrassed. But Emily had been unable to help the laugh that had escaped her. Turning over onto her back.

She had stared up at the ceiling. Her hand over her mouth, as she had tried to quiet down her giggles. When the giggles had subsided, Emily had begun to think.

She could leave like she had the last time, but Emily already knew that she would not be doing that. This was getting ridiculous. Derek was her boss.

He was the CEO of Haven Group. Women threw themselves at him on a daily basis. In fact, Emily had once seen a girl take off her bra and aimed it Derek’s head. It was only thanks to Emily’s own quick thinking in snatching the garment out of the air.

That Derek had not found himself with a face full of a double D cup. Back then, Derek had only paused for a few seconds. He had looked at the bra, then he had looked at Emily, and finally he had turned his attention to the young woman who had thought that it would be a great idea, to use her bra as a projectile.

"You should make better choices in life, young lady. This is not the way you want to keep going if you wish to make something of yourself," Derek had told her, and with that simple sentence. He had spun on his heel and walked away, leaving Emily to deal with the devastated young woman who apparently had been very sure that by throwing her bra at Derek. She would somehow be casting a love spell on him and making it impossible for him to resist her.

Derek had not cared then and he had not even faltered at the sight of the girl’s bare breasts.

But for some reason, this boner situation was embarrassing to him.

Emily had known quite a few men who loved to boast about their morning wood. But it seemed that Derek Haven was not one of those. It was rather cute now that Emily thought of it.

She had never imagined him as being bashful, but he was. And that meant that she had to deal with things before his bashfulness turned into shame that drove a wedge between them. She had to let him know that she was okay with it.

So Emily got up and made the bed just like she had the last time. But this time, instead of leaving after straightening the covers. She headed downstairs and instead got started on breakfast.

Looking into the pantry, she got out ingredients for

a simple pancake batter. Then once she had them in her arms, she went to the kitchen and got to work. She had just finished flipping the last one when Derek came downstairs. He paused briefly at the top, clearly shocked to see her still there.

When he finally made it down to the kitchen. Emily gestured to his plate and poured him some tea.

Taking a seat, Derek grabbed the tea first and took a sip. Then he paused, his hands around the mug as he inhaled slowly, his eyes closed. When he reopened them, he looked right at Emily.

"I take it that you stayed this time.

Because you want to talk about what has been happening in the mornings," He began and Emily nodded.

"Yes. I Believe we have to address it," She told him

With a heavy sigh, Derek put his tea down.

"I do not blame you if you want to leave," He told her.

"When this arrangement began, I made a promise to myself that no matter what happened. I would bend over backwards to make sure that you were never uncomfortable for a second while with me. But this is not something that I can help. It is the body’s natural response. So I understand if you do not wish to stay any longer-" Emily felt the need to cut him off before he could continue and she did just that.

"Derek what are you talking about? I am not going anywhere," For the first time that morning.

He willingly looked her in the eyes, his surprise clear.

"What? You are not leaving?"
