My heartbeat was pulsating as I flipped to the next page of the book, the contents showed subsequently, and I swallowed as my eyes scrutinized every content it had, I blushed deeply, there were so many! No wonder the book was big, but can all this contain nothing but pleasure? I knew kissing could be one of them and when a man and woman become intimate with each other, what else is there? There was more?

I turned to the next page, and the heading was ’Ways of kissing’

My eyes were glued to the book mostly because I knew William was watching my every move, but I didn’t wanna look over to him or I might just pass out from overheating, my face was on the verge of producing steam right at this point.

My eyes already felt like spinning when I read through the page.

In all the paragraphs I have just read there was nothing but ’love’ entitled to it, it also means if both partners were willing for it. A kiss... I wonder what it feels like... so I read more and it was nothing but curiosity that conquered me.

’Besides, don’t mistake kissing to only be the slight touch of lips. It is so much more! Be it a French kiss, everyone wants to master the art of kissing.’

I gulped... that means the French kiss I gave William on his mask doesn’t amount to normal kissing, a kiss was so much more, and all the explanation was given to me, it was something that was far more than a brush of lips against the other.

"Ava"

I tensed.

"Do you understand the ways of kissing?"

I bit my bottom lip and my grip on the book tightened. "I’m still trying to understand," I said as I finally pivoted my gaze to him, William looked curious, almost like he was trying to read me now. "It said a kiss is so much more than just a slight gesture" I mumbled, it was hard to speak loudly, but William has an odd way of always hearing me.

"Yes"

A thought crossed me.

"You have read this book... master?"

"Yes’’ he answered smoothly and I gulped... that meant William knows everything in this book. That was definitely a stupid thing to ask... he owns the library of course every knowledge here was known to him.

"I’m curious to know what your thought is after reading that page"

I opened my mouth feeling tentative but I redirected it aside after being pinned to his beaming gaze, it felt like I was compelled but at the same time I wasn’t, just a strong drive of curiosity.

"I want to know what a kiss feels like" My eyes descended before I could stop myself, my attention taken by his pale lips.

"There are different ways of kissing, Ava"

I do not know that.

"But first I shall show you what a kiss is..."

I gulped and the mere sound echoed in my ears, what I said next before I shut my brain of all common thoughts was unreal.

"Show me Master" I mouthed.

"Show me Master" As her lips moved to mouth that sentence word for word, William analyzed every part of it, without missing a single movement... with the way her pink lips popped when she pronounced each word. William felt something tempest within him but it was nuanced and yet so fierce.

It was silly to say they would experiment if she wanted to... he was silly to drive this to this extent when he should have just told her to go study under Severus... but where was the common sense now?

There’s none! It was all blown away by the wind into the obscure and what was laid was a potent desire to taste her lips. How can a god of the Holy Library... the very first existence of Knowledge shut all sense of reasoning in one go? He was a man of knowledge and that was his utmost principle in all his life but it seems like these principles he built for himself have lost gravity, for time has paused.

He was ready to let his bizarre sense bloom for this young maiden, just how deep has he been entrapped?

My heartbeat throbbed with every beat but all seemed to fall silent when William cupped my cheeks with both of his hands, it felt like mere time itself have stopped flowing for both of us, with each move he made to get closer to me was like a fated passing time.

Little by little his face drew closer to mine and it felt like we were caught in a time loop, his face was now inches apart from mine, and as if willed I closed my eyes when his breath washed over my face.

He was so close now and I could feel it... just one more move and his lips will be placed on mine, I have never held such a sumptuous desire for something until now, it was so assertive that I couldn’t stop myself from wanting more when I haven’t had it yet... a strong sense of vigor flowed with it as well as deep tingling suspense.

Something hot and sizzling brushed against my forehead and the gesture caused me to open my eyes. That was when the realization struck me...

William pulled away from me after brushing a tender kiss on my forehead, leaving me stumped, and enthralled.

One hand just cupped my cheeks now and my trembling brown gaze settled on his green ones.

"I cannot give you a kiss on the lips just yet..." he said as his thumb lined my bottom lip as if memorizing the texture of my lips and the spark that came along with it was unnerving. As if that wasn’t enough I noticed his pupil had dilated and his green eyes were darkened, it was a drastic change.

"For when I taste those lips it will be my undoing"
