As the last day of the year, almost everyone in the world was quite busy preparing for the last celebrations of the year.

It was a common ritual for people to celebrate from New Year’s Eve until the first day of the year.

People would do firework displays, gather together, sing, dance and just celebrate together. It was a night where people didn’t sleep that early but just enjoyed it to the fullest.

However, before they could do all that, something else had to be done.

Inside the Perry villa, Diamond once again appeared in the kitchen with a lot of ingredients in front of her.

And just as she did on the 24th, Diamond once again found herself streaming.

Diamond had been too busy dealing with family matters and didn’t have time to entertain her fans, who kept on increasing by the day.

So, to thank them for being with her in 2078, she decided to do one last broadcast for the year.

And since she had volunteered to cook again, there was no better way to enjoy herself than interacting with her fans.

As for Ruby and Kian, those two were kicked out the second that she started.

Cooking a lot of food wasn’t that hard for her. She had done it once, so she was much more experienced than last time.

It took Diamond two and a half hours to cook everything she had planned. And during that time, she didn’t forget to interact with her fans, answering the questions they were curious about and so forth.

To celebrate with them the end of the year; Diamond, before she finished the broadcast, informed the fans that she would be hosting the last event of the year where she would be rewarding one hundred lucky fans one thousand each as red packets.

After dropping such a bomb, she ended the livestream, leaving the rest to Andrea, whom she had instructed about that event before she started.

The other four didn’t react much when they saw what Diamond had done. After all, Diamond wasn’t someone who lacked money.

Besides, she was helping people in her own way, so why should they be worried or look at her as if she was a wasteful person?

The table was filled with all sorts of delicacies. From roasted chicken, stewed chicken, roasted potatoes, boiled corn, gravy, rice, samp and dumplings.

There was wine and juice as well.

The meal wasn’t as luxurious as what other people would think when it comes to rich people, but for Diamond, it was the best. Everyone wanted to eat the food, and it was healthy, so she was glad to cook the food.

Kian looked affectionately at Diamond after seeing all the hard work she had put in to make such a meal for them.

’I have really found a virtuous wife!’ he praised inwardly.

Although Diamond didn’t like moving and doing house chores, something that he had been seeing frequently from when he arrived, however, once she put her mind to doing something, she was the best.

Diamond, before eating, didn’t forget to take photos and uploaded them on her Ioniq account to share with her crazy fans while she checked the progress of the event Andrea was hosting.

After seeing that everything was moving perfectly, she joined everyone and began to dig in.

The meal was harmonious, and with nowhere to hurry, everyone took their time to enjoy the food.

Once the meal was done, Ruby and Belinda went to do the dishes, while Diamond and Kian went outside for some fresh air.

While sitting outside in the gazebo, Diamond made a video call to Sullivan. It’s been a while since the three talked face to face. She wanted to see her other lover.

After several rings, an exhausted face appeared on the screen, making Kian burst into a peal of laughter.

[What are you laughing at?] he hoarsely asked as he glared at Kian.

Diamond smiled dotingly as she looked at the twins at it again.

"Why do you look as if you had just battled several rounds?" Kian mockingly asked as he provoked the twin who couldn’t spend time with his lover.

[You! You are really enjoying this, right?]

"How can I not enjoy?" Kian didn’t seem bothered by Sullivan fry at all.

Sullivan scoffed at his brother before his attention shifted to Diamond.

[Babe, have you rested enough?] Sullivan asked worriedly, recalling how Diamond had exhausted herself once again by cooking.

Diamond smiled as she looked at her other man and replied, "I don’t get tired easily. You, on the other hand, don’t look so well. Is it that tiring?"

[Don’t get me started! Someone made a mistake and now the filming period needs to be extended!] Sullivan angrily said as he thought of how he wouldn’t be able to spend time with his lover and brother.

Diamond was shocked when she heard that. Her brows knitted, eyes narrowing dangerously as she didn’t like what she was hearing.

"How long will it be?" Kian asked flatly as he looked at his brother while stretching his hand towards Diamond to calm the other.

[Tomorrow we will be taking a day off but resuming on the 2nd. To correct all the blunders, I think around ten we should be done!]

Diamond and Kian could hear Sullivan’s frustration as he said that.

"Is that person a girl or a boy?"

[A spoiled sugar baby with no talents!]

"Tsk. People like these always trying to reach heights that they can’t do. So, are they continuing with her or changing her?"

[Changing of course. How can the director keep on using such a person?]

"That’s good then."

[Anyway, enough about that,] Sullivan said as he massaged his temples, hoping to calm down as he was now speaking to his lover.

"Fine. So, when will I see you?" Diamond changed the topic as she asked coquettishly, provoking the man who couldn’t see her on the screen.

With the topic changed and Diamond provoking others, the conversation took another turn and the throuple began to enjoy their loving moment together.

After being on the phone for thirty minutes, Diamond reluctantly hung up as she could tell that Sullivan was dead tired and needed a good rest.

The couple embraced each other in the gazebo as the clock ticked.

"My lady!"

"Um. What is it?" she asked as she leaned in closer into his embrace.

"I may leave earlier than I thought!" from nowhere, Kian said.

Diamond turned her head as she pulled away a bit from his embrace to look at Kian and hear exactly what he was talking about.

"Um. What do you mean?" she asked puzzledly, unable to understand why Kian would be leaving earlier than what they planned.

According to what they agreed upon, Kian and Sullivan were supposed to go with her to Frin and see the place where she lives.

She would also get to spend more time with the twins together and get closer to three instead of two, one at a time.

Kian swept away the strands of hair on Diamond’s forehead as he looked at her solemnly.

"I wanted to tell you later, but I guess that telling you earlier is the best," he sighed dejectedly as he recalled what caused all this.

"Is it a work-related problem?" she asked worriedly as her gaze was fixated on him.

"Um. It is, and it’s something that I need to deal with as soon as possible, otherwise I will suffer a big loss!"

Diamond was startled when she heard that.

"Is it that serious?" she exclaimed worriedly, wondering what could have happened for Kian to act like that.

"Yes, it is. And I am sorry that I won’t be able to spend more time with you!" he apologetically said as he affectionately looked at her.

If it wasn’t that serious, he wouldn’t have budged no matter what, but with how the current situation was like, he would be in deep trouble once things started to surface.

"Once I settle everything, I will come and visit you. What do you think?" Kian suggested as he looked at her earnestly, his eyes reflecting her only.

Diamond raised her hand and caressed the man’s chiselled face with a smile.

"Um. I will wait for you to come to me then. Don’t lie to me!"

"I won’t, my lady. If I can’t manage, I will tell you rather than deceive you!"

Diamond nodded her head with satisfaction after hearing that.

"Perfect! And if I finish my side early, I can come and visit you as well, but it would be best if you come to me."

"And that I shall!"

The love birds agreed. Although it was a pity that Kian wouldn’t be able to be with her for long, she didn’t want to hold him back. He had already stayed with her for a couple of days, and that was something.

Not every guy could do that without complaining.

As there was an emergency, Kian would be taking the morning flight on the 2nd of January, which was still too early, as she expected.

And that meant that she had only two nights to spend with Kian.

Before letting Kian go, she wanted to give herself to Kian, but it seemed that it wasn’t possible now. It wasn’t that she hadn’t tried, but Kian was a bit too gentlemanly and didn’t want to do anything improper to her in her parents’ house.

He didn’t even want to visit a hotel as that would also just show her parents that they had done it.

So, inside her heart and maybe his as well, she was planning on claiming his body once she was at home, but now it was unfortunate. The time needed to be changed.

But one way or the other, she was going to get him no matter what.

It was just a matter of time.
