There were so many ways of gaining attention. People loved free things and when it comes to gaining followers on social media accounts, all it took was for one person to click on the follow button and the deal was sealed.

Diamond didn’t believe that these people would allow a free gift to just slip through their fingers. Besides, she was going to pick among the followers, so those who wanted free things would be forced to participate.

After throwing such a bomb, she logged out of her account and looked at the road with a smile.

Maybe it was due to how drivers were prone to having accidents, especially during the festive season, but Diamond, for the first time in a very long time, found her car being stopped by the traffic police.

Thankfully, she was on the wheel as Andrea had informed her earlier about the roadblock that was ahead.

Diamond didn’t make things difficult for herself but cooperated well with the police officers before she was allowed to go.

At least they didn’t ask for money from her, otherwise she would have done something about them.

It was already hard for people to earn a living and yet these corrupt law enforcements were busy conning drivers out of their money and receiving no punishment for it.

Diamond arrived home pretty late, but thankfully; dinner wasn’t served yet. So, she was relieved to see that.

At least she had managed to deliver the creams to Madam Sawyer, though she politely rejected having dinner with her. Her family was waiting for her. It was the last night, after all.

Dimond rushed to her room, where she took a quick shower. She had suffered a lot under the sun and needed to cool down.

She then changed into loungewear, since it was already late before going downstairs.

At the dining table, the girls were all holding their phones and busy typing. She didn’t know what they were up to except that they were busy.

When Janet saw that everyone had gathered, she started bringing the food to the table, prompting everyone to put their phones down.

"Big sister, that was a good move!" Ruby gave Diamond a thumbs up as she looked at her with a worshipping gaze.

Diamond’s lips curled upwards when she heard that. It was nice getting praise once in a while.

"Have you checked the follower count now?" Patience asked excitedly as she fidgeted in the chair.

Diamond shook her head as she had indeed not checked her account after uploading that post.

"Hehe, the lure of free gifts did the magic. The followers had already doubled, and it’s been two hours."

"Not only that, but have you seen the number of shares?"

"At the rate, everyone is eager to participate, I see the target getting reached even sooner."

Diamond was happy to hear that. It didn’t matter what methods one uses to get popular. As long as it works, who cares?

"Hehe, it doesn’t matter. As long as they reach the target, I will reward them. I might as well just increase the number of winners," Diamond nonchalantly said with a wave of her hand.

The girls’ eyes light up upon hearing that.

"Big sis, what will you reward them with?" Precious asked curiously.

When Diamond heard that, her brows furrowed. Honestly, she had not thought much about it. After all, there were three more days until she had to reward the winners. But now, at the rate the number was increasing, it seemed that she needed to think fast.

"I guess I will reward them with some money. That way, they will use it to buy whatever they want. As for the amount, I will see. As long as it helps," Diamond answered.

She wanted to reward some beauty creams but when she thought of how some winners might not be able to afford them in the future; she decided to let the issue aside. And she also didn’t want anyone to associate her with the creams.

She didn’t want trouble. But money wasn’t hard. At least people would just assume that she was flexing her family’s money. It’s not like she was the first one to use money to lure people.

The girls barely opposed Diamond. They were afraid of receiving lessons, so when they heard her opinion, they accepted it. It was not difficult, after all; Diamond didn’t lack money.

She even paid everyone handsomely, including the twins, who worked for just a week.

Janet served the food, and she joined them as well. That was going to be the last dinner they were going to share for the year. So, they savored every single bite as they chatted happily.

They were all leaving the next morning, and the twins were included.

They were all upset, but there was nothing that they could do. Christmas was around the corner and everyone should reunite with their families.

After dinner, they didn’t go to sleep but gathered together in the living room, where they continued to talk and laugh.

Around eleven, Diamond left the girls and went to her bedroom, where she took out several beauty creams bottles.

She brought these bottles with her downstairs and when the girls saw the familiar bottles; they held their hearts in their hands.

They had heard and seen what the creams were capable of. They also purchased a few bottles each after knowing that Diamond was selling them.

Of course, Diamond didn’t give them the creams for free, but after using them, they all knew that it wasn’t going to be the same anymore.

Diamond didn’t know when she would see the girls again, but since they had accompanied her and her sister, even if it was for one week, she was still grateful.

They weren’t lonely again and Ruby had people around her age to accompany her both at home and work, so she was grateful.

So, to thank them, she gave the twins five bottles each. Knowing them, they would probably give a few to their family, something that she was looking forward to.

Once they get hooked on her cream, she will be adding more customers to her list. She would also be making friends with one of the richest families in Athary.

She didn’t have much to lose.

Of course, the girls didn’t think up to that point as they were happy to have received the creams.

Diamond didn’t forget Janet. This woman had worked so hard for her and braved the house chores on her own.

So, to thank her, she gave her two bottles of cream, which were worth so much when compared to the salary she was getting.

On top of that, she tripled Janet’s salary and instructed her to take any meat and vegetables that would be left when they left.

Janet was grateful that she teared up.

Everyone was very happy, so despite being very late, they still had fun and went to sleep around two in the morning.

Actually, it was useless to sleep as they had to catch their respective flights around ten.

And with how far the airport was from Cherry Court, it would be difficult to enjoy breakfast at home.

They had to wake up early in the morning and leave for the airport. So, the twins didn’t sleep as they bothered their mother in the group chat as they showed off the gifts that Diamond had given them.

The mother also couldn’t sleep well, as the thrill and anticipation of seeing her daughters again was too much.

The twins were taking a private plane back home, but that wasn’t stopping them from leaving the house at the same time as Diamond and Ruby.

On the other hand, Ruby cherished her beauty sleep very much, so she went to sleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Another person who wasn’t sleeping was Diamond. Instead of sleeping only to wake up around five in the morning, she vanished into the Golden space.

There was so much work for her to do, and now that she wasn’t sleepy, she decided to use that time productively.

Earlier, after dropping the creams at Madam Sawyer, she had stopped by a shop that sold agricultural tools and seeds. She purchased several of them and stored them in the space when she was in the car.

So, for the next three hours in real-time, which was several times more in the space, Diamond was busy clearing the land.

Since everything had to be done by her hands, Diamond began to appreciate the farmers wholeheartedly.

Despite living in the village once upon a time, she had barely touched the hoe. She was her parents’ favorite child, so why would she suffer?

Even though she owned a farm, other people worked for her again, so the torture of hard labor was less known.
