Diamond didn’t have time to rest actually. When she was done with Nancy, she let Andrea drive her back to Cherry Court and on her way; she received a call from Madam Sawyer.

She wanted to know if she still had the creams, she promised the ladies the other day.

Diamond had them in abundance, so she told the lady the truth and set a meeting in the evening. She didn’t have time at the moment. She still had to go to the farm and settle some few things there.

Diamond didn’t stay at home for long after she reached there. She simply changed her clothes into something casual and picked another hat, which she placed on the passenger’s seat when she entered the car. She also brought with her a shopping bag which she was going to use, to store the creams when meeting Madam Sawyer.

Diamond not only returned home to change her clothes but also to change the car. The road to the farm was not that perfect even though she fixed the one that entered the farm directly.

She wasn’t the municipality to begin with. Besides, the municipality budget included road fixing and those people in offices were busy embezzling funds without doing their jobs.

She would rather feed the poor than allow her money to enter those corrupted officials’ coffers.

She switched the Angel XI for the old SUV and left the Pia. She didn’t want her electric going anywhere with gravel. It was too precious to be used there.

Diamond let Andrea take over the driving as she took out some food, she stored in her storage ring to eat.

She had not eaten anything apart from breakfast, as she was in a hurry to deal with all pending issues before leaving for Taco.

After driving for like two hours, Diamond arrived at the farm. When the workers saw her car, they all cheered happily. After all, Diamond was a good boss.

When she arrived, she found Cain in the office, dealing with the accounts. It was closing day for everyone, and Cain was also aware.

The two disappeared into the office where Cain did the listening while Diamond did the talking.

Cain was a foreigner, and he had a family to take care of back home. She was, however, fortunate that he wasn’t willing to return home, as earning money was of utter importance.

Since he had been sending his family money, everything was okay for him. It was too costly to return home and once everything was settled, he would go back home to visit them.

However, Diamond had other thoughts. It wasn’t wise for a man with a family to stay away from his family, no matter how tempting money was.

Of course, she didn’t want Cain to return home, as that would make her lose a hard-working employee, even if it would be just for a few weeks.

So, she came up with a solution. As long as he was willing, he could bring his wife and children to stay with him.

The wife could get a job at the farm or any establishment of hers as long as she was capable.

Cain was already earning a lot and it wouldn’t be hard for him to support his family even if they came to Athary.

As for the residential permits, Diamond was confident and getting that sorted. She didn’t even require any agents who were bloodsucking thieves and knew how to suck other people dry.

All she needed was Andrea. He would hack into the system and get everything approved. So, worrying about getting rejected and all that, she was the least concerned.

Cain was obviously touched by her suggestion but still told her that he would talk to his wife first before giving her a decision. Diamond was okay with that, so she changed to another topic.

The farm currently has around thirty workers. From the gardens to the ranch, a lot of people had been hired during the moment that the farm started operating.

The highest that the employees were earning was A$3,000. Which was nearly double what the normal wage for farm workers was getting.

Cain was the one getting paid the most, and that was apart from the bonuses that Diamond loved surprising her employees with.

The rest of the employees ranged from A$1,000 to A$1,500. She was already paying them a lot. After all, all the workers working for her were staying on her farm for free.

She was paying for all utilities and all they needed to do was buy their own food. Where could they find someone as generous as her?

Anyway, Diamond didn’t want to make things difficult for herself or the employees. After all, they were all hard-working and weren’t slacking.

The last time she caught a thief at the farm, her method of dealing with that problem was so scary that everyone became well-behaved after that.

Nevertheless, despite the enormous salaries, Diamond, who knew how many of the employees wanted to go home and be with their families, decided to double their salaries once again.

Of course, for those remaining at the farm during the vacation, she was going to pay them handsomely and all that she discussed with Cain.

After sorting out the remuneration of every worker of hers in person, Diamond was finally at ease.

It was already around three in the afternoon, but she wasn’t in the mood to just leave yet.

So, she went on another tour as she discussed with Cain what she wanted done. After becoming an alchemist, she understood the importance of getting herbs. After all, she would be nothing if she didn’t know how to process the herbs to make the final product.

Diamond wanted Cain to make a few greenhouses where he would plant the herbs that she needed. These were some of the herbs she would use to make the cream and the tea.

After giving that project to Cain, she didn’t forget to add a pill to the water tank. She wanted her crops to grow faster and, above all, for the animals to be fat so that they would be sold for higher prices.

By the time she left the farm, it was around half past four, and she didn’t drive but let Andrea take over again.

On her way, Diamond managed to snatch two tickets to Taco in the first-class cabin. As there weren’t a lot of people willing to spend their money on luxury, it was quite easy for her to get them.

Ever since she tasted how good the first class was, she no longer wanted to go to economy again. As for business class, she would see it in the future. The money was there, so why be stingy again?

After she successfully purchased the tickets, Diamond logged into her new Ioniq DIAMOND account and a smile spread on her face.

The account didn’t have a single follower in the morning. It already had ten thousand followers, and the number was increasing.

She checked her earlier following and was quite surprised to see that Sullivan didn’t follow her with his official page. However, despite his not doing that, his side account, which showed nothing about him, had brought in a lot of people.

Apart from that, the twins seemed to have played a huge role. She could see from the comments, especially under the twins, that the majority came from them.

She felt very happy. After all, that huge number of followers in just a day was already a lot. It was a number that an ordinary person would not achieve easily.

Happy with the ten thousand followers, she posed for a selfie. For Diamond, there was no need to use a filter. She was too pretty for that and if she were to use a filter, wouldn’t that be an insult to everything that she had gone through to be where she was today?

Diamond picked a few photos she had taken and made a photo grid. She then posted that merged photo with the caption, "Celebrating 10,000 followers," and nothing else.

After sending the post, it didn’t take long before comments started flowing.

There were a lot of strange comments, but despite how bad and good they were, Diamond enjoyed reading all of them.

As long as no one threatened her, she didn’t mind the negativity. Besides, popularity was derived from the good and bad. She couldn’t stop the haters from hating.

What she would enjoy was to see the haters who don’t know her turning into real fans one day.

Diamond didn’t respond to the comments but just read them with a happy smile.

She even saw the follower count increasing and a crazy idea suddenly emerged in her head.

Diamond scrolled through her phone and found another photo, but it was from the time she attended the red carpet event with Kisha.

She posted a photo of that day and this time it had a caption, "If we reach 100,000 followers by Friday. I will do a lucky draw and pick three lucky people to send a Christmas gift to. What are you waiting for?"
