SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS -
Chapter 167 - 165
Chapter 167: Chapter 165
She also made ridges and covered them with black plastics, which helped in reducing the number of weeds that would affect the crops once they grew.
After doing that, she punched some holes in the plastics, as she planted the seedlings of the crops she had also purchased earlier.
Some of the ridges she planted the seeds straight, since she wasn’t able to get the seedlings that she wanted.
In that amount of time, she managed to plant half of the ridges she had made. And she didn’t plant only herbs but vegetables as well.
She didn’t have time to buy all the herbs she needed, so she might as well plant a few vegetables for consumption and sale in the future.
After finishing everything, she replenished her energy by drinking some water she took from her storage ring.
She then flashed back to her room and wasn’t surprised to see that it was nearly five in the morning.
Diamond went to the bathroom where she took a quick shower to get rid of the filth she got when farming earlier.
After the shower, she felt very refreshed and energetic. She wore her exercise gear and left the villa for her last jog on the court.
She returned to the villa around past six and found Janet in the kitchen.
"Good morning, miss!" Janet greeted her warmly.
"Good morning, aunt. What are you cooking?" Diamond asked curiously as she stepped into the kitchen.
"I thought that you would need a quick bite before leaving. So, I am making porridge. It will be convenient for you to eat," Janet answered smilingly as she stirred the thick porridge in the pot.
Diamond nodded her head happily. "Thank you."
She was glad that Janet was considerate. At least she didn’t need to starve until she reached the airport to have a meal.
She left Janet to finish cooking as she went upstairs where she didn’t waste time, but took another quick shower.
This time she was going home, so there was no need to dress dramatically. But at the same time, she needed to look the part. What if she got photographed when dressed shabbily?
So, she picked a Bormuga sun dress and paired it up with sunglasses, a matching bream hat, and a pair of loafers’ shoes.
She sprayed some cologne and stashed the toiletries she was currently using in the cosmetic bag, vanity and make-up cases.
She then stored these three in a suitcase that was waiting to be closed. The bags were already packed and now all that remained was to bring them downstairs.
Some of the things, Diamond kept them in the storage ring as she didn’t want to get into trouble with the immigration.
Diamond brought her three suitcases’ downstairs and waited for the girls to join her. While she waited, she let Janet serve her the porridge, and she ate it slowly since she didn’t need to rush.
The girls only appeared when she was nearly done, and they all looked hurried. She couldn’t help but mock them for how slow they were. It’s not like they didn’t know that they were leaving early.
Diamond refused for the girls to eat relaxedly at home but had them eat on their way. That way, they would learn a lesson to be early.
They were all being sent to the airport by Janet, who would be driving Diamond’s old SUV. That was the only car that would carry everyone with the luggage.
On the way to the airport, Diamond didn’t know what to say as the twins kept looking at her sulkily and talking pitifully.
"You, guys! Do you know how to tone it down?" she asked helplessly as she looked at them.
"Big sis! Just promise us! Can’t you do this tiny bit for us?" Patience asked sulkily as she looked at Diamond, doing her best to look as pitiful as she could.
"You .... Isn’t that a bit too soon?" Diamond asked.
"How can you say that? We even came all the way to Frin after seeing you for less than a day. After everything we have been through. Don’t tell us that you don’t even want to see where we live?" Patience dejectedly said in an accusing tone while staring at Diamond.
Diamond sighed deeply when she heard that.
"You talk to your parents first. I will find some time next year to come and visit you if that’s what you want," she could only helplessly say after hearing the girls.
The twins, upon hearing that, beamed, as they were happy to know that Diamond had agreed.
That was one thing that was good about Diamond. She barely broke the promises that she made. So, they were finally looking forward to seeing Diamond.
They couldn’t wait to treat her the way she treated them. It was their first time going somewhere away from home and didn’t have to worry about bumping into enemies.
They didn’t even require the services of the bodyguards. It was that safe for them.
"We will miss you!"
"And so will we!"
Around nine, Diamond and the girls finally were at the airport. They checked the bags in and bid farewell to Janet.
After that, Diamond made sure that the twins went to their passage safely before she and Ruby went their way.
At ten exactly, the plane departed into the skies.
To entertain herself during the flight, which was nearly two hours since the plane was supposed to land in another city first before flying to Taco, Diamond had her tablet and phone in hand.
Breakfast was served on the plane and the sisters that only had porridge before finally filled their tummies with something more solid.
After eating, Ruby put on the eye mask and went to sleep. She didn’t sleep much, and she was feeling drowsy.
As for Diamond, she didn’t sleep but played on her tablet and at times she would check her stock and watch as Andrea played games with her money.
Two hours later, Diamond and Ruby were in a cab and on their way home.
Ruby was once again sleeping, and the girl didn’t seem to be interested in watching how things had changed during the month she had been away.
[Ding! Do you want to sign in?]
[Ding! You have been rewarded with a bag of ginseng seeds!]
’Oh! Isn’t our dear system getting more generous with each passing day?’ she couldn’t help but tease the system upon hearing what had been given to her.
[Let’s learn to be grateful!]
’Oh! When you attack, you are indeed savage, but thank you!’
And there was no response. Something very usual. It was already a miracle that the system bothered to respond to her.
Diamond didn’t take the seeds but decided to check them later when she was home.
After a drive of an hour or so, the cab entered the neighborhood where her parents’ villa was located.
She didn’t tell her parents when she was coming except for the day that she and Ruby were arriving.
She wanted to surprise her parents a lot. After all, it’s been ages since she last saw them.
When the cab arrived, Ruby used the remote key to open the gates, which opened very wide.
After that, the cab entered the gates and before it reached farther, Diamond smiled as she watched her mother and father coming out of the villa.
"It seems that they heard the gate opening!" Ruby said with a chuckle, her eyes sparkling upon seeing her parents.
"Um. It will be a wonder if they don’t come out after an unknown car drive into their yard!" Diamond chipped in with a smile.
Shortly, the cab stopped, and the sisters exited the car. The driver got out of the car as well and helped the sisters to take the suitcases out of the boot.
Of course, Diamond had more suitcases than Ruby.
Ruby had other clothes in Taco, so she didn’t see the need to pack a lot, but her sister was different.
She didn’t have many clothes in Taco and even if there were some; she doubted if she would be willing to wear them. Her sister’s taste had changed greatly, and Ruby didn’t see Diamond wearing those old clothes anymore.
After getting paid, the cab driver drove away, leaving the four family members looking at each other with bright smiles on their faces.
"Are you not going to hurry up?" Belinda pretended to be angry as she urged the girls while opening her arms wide.
Upon seeing that, Ruby grinned as she dashed fast towards her mother and shortly, she was in her mother’s bosom.
"I miss you, Mom!" Ruby coyly said as she rubbed her face all over her mother.
Diamond chuckled softly as she walked towards her parents without any rush.
"I know you didn’t. otherwise, you would have urged us to return home!" their mother exposed Ruby on the spot.
Ruby stopped her antics and looked at her mother sulkily. "Mom! How can you say that?"
