Madeline walked side by side with Zane as they went to the private beach in the resort.

He was wearing his beach trunks, while Madeline wore a two-piece bikini that was less revealing than the one she wore during the first game, so she didn’t need that maxi skirt to layer it.

Jasmin and Russel walked behind them, wearing the same two-piece bikini and swimming beach trunks.

The camera panned at Madeline and Zane at first because they looked so good together, especially Madeline, who looked like a model selling an expensive two-piece bikini, even though it was actually a no-name set she bought online.

But the cameraman’s attention quickly shifted to Russel, who looked different today.

Usually, he would look uncomfortable competing against these smart and athletic celebrities, but he looked very determined today.

Madeline saw two kitchen tables at the beach, complete with kitchen utensils, a small stove, and all the ingredients they needed in a big cooler container.

’I just hope Jasmin is a good cook. It’d be hard for me to lose if she’s actually terrible,’ Madeline thought. She then glanced at Zane and then at Russel. ’Okay, this part can’t be helped. Obviously, Zane will win against Russel any day. So it depends on how I can lose the game without being too obvious.’

Tia stood between the tables in her one-piece bikini, looking sexy as she was ready for the reality show’s final.

"Okay, the camera will roll again after a moment. We’re still waiting for our chef judge for today!" Tia said.

"We’ll have a judge?" Jasmin asked.

"Obviously, as you can see, it’s a cooking contest!" Tia mentioned while pointing at one of the tables. "I’ll explain more once our judge is here!"

They waited around ten minutes when Tia finally pointed at the stone stairs connecting the resort to the beach and said, "There he is!"

Madeline turned her head, and her eyes almost popped out when she saw the man next to the chef judge.

The chef judge walked with the Producer, Valerie Phoenix Gray, on his right and the investor, Lancelot Atlas Grant, on his left.

Lance wore a casual, unbuttoned black shirt and brown khaki, showing off his glorious abs that deserved a spot in Men’s Fitness magazine.

His blonde hair swayed as the gust of wind gently caressed him, and his deep green eyes were like an arrow that shot right through her chest when he shifted his gaze at Madeline.

He peered at Madeline as if there was a mix of anger and relief in his eyes.

Nevertheless, Madeline knew that he wasn’t happy with the current situation, and for a moment, Madeline felt like a woman caught red-handed in a scandal again, with her cheating on Lance with Zane.

They walked past the cast members and stood in front of them.

"Okay, before we roll the camera, I will introduce you to our most important people in this reality show!" Tia said. "The beautiful lady, Miss Valerie Phoenix Gray, is the producer. And this handsome hunk right here—"

Tia gently caressed Lance’s solid and muscular arm, giggling all by herself because this man was more handsome than Zane, even though he never wanted to show his face to the media.

"—he is Lancelot Grant, our investor!" Tia announced.

Lance grinned. He ignored Tia, and his eyes were on Madeline the whole time.

Madeline felt nervous, and her back began to sweat as her mind short-circuited right now.

Lance looked down at the intertwined fingers between the two, and Madeline instantly tried to pull her hand.

But Zane tightened his grip on Madeline and looked at her with displeasure. "I won’t let you go, Madeline."

"B—But—"Madeline gulped nervously. She stared at Lance, whose gaze grew increasingly displeased for each second Madeline was holding Zane’s hand.

"Madeline, you are mine while the camera is still rolling," Zane insisted. He turned his head towards Lance and boldly pulled Madeline closer to his arm. "And this Mr. Investor in front of us can’t do anything unless you want to lose money, right?"

Lance’s gaze deepened. He looked so intimidating that the previously cheerful aura around them turned tense instantly.

"Uh, why is everyone so tense? Mr. Grant, Zane?" Tia asked. "Madeline?"

Everyone ignored Tia, as they didn’t dare to say anything.

But Madeline knew what Zane said was right. This bastard in front of them was at the root of her current situation.

He was the one who threw her to the wolves and expected Madeline to get mauled, only to come out as their queen.

So why was she so nervous? Why did she feel so uncomfortable with Lance’s anger when she should be the one who’s angry instead?!

Madeline took a deep breath, trying to gather her courage and get into her acting mode again.

’Madeline Rose, if this bastard dares to show himself right during the final, then he should’ve been prepared for what kind of show he will get,’ Madeline told herself.

Thus, she leaned on Zane and smirked at Lance, whose grin vanished instantly. "You’re right. I am all yours while the camera is rolling."

Zane felt that he had gotten an adrenaline shot. He traced his hand around Madeline’s waist and added, "Madeline and I had an amazing night together at that honeymoon bungalow, Mr. Investor. Thanks for the accommodation."

Lance said nothing, but the veins popping on his hands and neck proved that he was ready to punch Zane’s face until he was unrecognizable.

Valerie shook her head. She knew it was a bad idea to allow Lance to come. Only five of them stayed on this beach, and these two men were about to fight to death for their damsel.

"Alright, let’s just start with the filming," Valerie instructed. "Lance, let’s stand on the side. We’ll handle this problem after this game ends."
