She Becomes A Hot Sensation After A Scandalous Affair -
Chapter 175
Chapter 175: Chapter 175
Madeline turned her head towards Lance and smiled. "Though, I’m not sure if that man wants to spend a lifetime with me."
"You’re joking. Why would I not want to spend my lifetime with you?" Lance said as he leaned towards Madeline and whispered. "Not only a lifetime. If reincarnation is real, I will spend my next life with you, too."
"Oh, Lance..."
Nathan rolled his eyes in silence as he saw Lance and Madeline eating each other faces out after dinner.
"Gross," he muttered.
But he was secretly happy about it because the other students in his school hated her, saying that she had no shame for dating Zane Eastwood, even though Zane had a clean record, unlike her.
Some others also said that Zane deserved a better woman than Madeline.
Thus, knowing that Madeline wasn’t attached to Zane was a relief because he also got a bad vibe from Zane when they met once in the old home.
"How about you, Nathan? How’s your first day under Chef Cedric in The Oak Tree?" Madeline asked. "Lance told me that Cedric is harsh in the kitchen."
"That’s true. I’m beat on the first day," Nathan replied. "But it’s not a bad thing. I was also trained by a harsh coach as a basketball captain. So it’s nothing new for me."
"Cedric told me that Nathan has talent," Lance said. "But he’s so bad at communicating with the other cooks. He got scolded three times because of miscommunication."
Madeline chuckled, "That’s just very Nathan."
"Hey! I’m not that bad!"
"Yes, you are," Madeline stated. "Other than your skill as a cook that needs to be trained, you also need to undergo intensive training to communicate better."
Nathan lowered his head, indicating he was in a bad mood or felt wronged. "Whatever. It’s not a big deal."
Madeline and Lance looked at each other, and Lance shrugged, "Other than that, Cedric told me that Nathan should enter Le Cordon Bleu, that renowned culinary school after he graduated high school."
"Depends on Nathan. Maybe he’ll find working in the kitchen is exhausting. I mean, you can still get a sports scholarship, right? You’ve been an athlete since middle school," Madeline mentioned.
Nathan nodded. "I’m still unsure if I want to be a chef or an athlete."
"Take all the time you need to consider it," Lance said. "And don’t worry about your entry to a culinary school or a regular university. I can get it done easily."
Nathan raised his head, looking at Lance with confusion.
"What? We are family now, right?" Lance shrugged lightly. "Unless your sister decided to divorce me, then you are still my little brother-in-law."
"We are not even married yet, Lancelot Grant." Madeline rolled her eyes.
"Then how about we get married tomorrow? We can do it in the mansion’s garden, right?"
Madeline chuckled, "Oh well, we can do that once everything has been settled, right?"
The smile on Lance’s face dissolved, and he nodded solemnly. "Yes, I need to firmly establish my position first."
**
A week had passed since that day, and Madeline did what her mother told her: not to visit her until she broke up with Lancelot Grant.
Since she had no plan to break up with him, then she didn’t visit until she was done filming Psycho Moth with Zane, so she would be able to kick him out of her life for good.
The first episode of The Liar Husband and Lying Wife Season 2 had aired, and people went wild with Madeline’s role as Renata Glass.
She was breathtaking in her stereotypical secretary outfit: a tight skirt and blouse. She also wore glasses, which made her even more seductive than before.
Everybody already knew that Madeline was a natural brunette and looked a lot more natural and gorgeous in this film.
Thus, even if her role as Renata Glass was terrible, she still became the main source of attention for the first episode.
Madeline read the comment section in her latest Instagram post, which featured her in Renata Glass’s outfit.

’Once a whore, still a whore.’
’Don’t get fooled, girls. This woman is vile!’
’These comments are so stupid. She fucked up once. So what? She did amazing in this TV show!’
’Of course, she did amazing. She’s basically playing herself in here! She’s a mistress in the show. She’s also a mistress in real life! What a shameless bitch!’
’If I were her, I’d just kill myself.’

Madeline chuckled, reading these comments. She didn’t really care what people thought of her. After all, she was the one who chose this path of being the public enemy number one.
She had nothing to worry about as long as they didn’t touch her in real life.
"Are you ready for the first day of filming?" Lance asked as they were heading towards the production set. "Don’t read those comments. It’ll only put you in a bad mood."
"Bad mood? I’m actually entertained," Madeline smiled. But she put her phone inside her bag and leaned on Lance, who sat next to him in the backseat of the car. "I don’t mind them as long as you protect me."
"I will never let anyone hurt you," Lance said as he wrapped his arm around her hips. "But I don’t want you to keep beating yourself like this. People hate you because they see you as a bad guy, but you are not, so it’s better to isolate yourself and not let their words get in your head."
"Weren’t you the one who wanted me to be as infamous and hated as possible?" Madeline chuckled.
Lance’s smile faltered. "Come on, can’t you stop calling me out like that? I messed up, but I’m trying to mend my mistake!"
"Hihi, calm down, babe. I’m not trying to make you angry. I just find it funny because we had a bad start but still ended up together, right?"
"Sir, Miss, we’re here," Ada said as she took a turn and entered the production set.
