Days went peacefully after Madeline moved out of her old house to live with Lance.

Zane didn’t show up anymore after their confrontation at the production set.

As promised, Lance didn’t do anything to Zane, but he hired two more bodyguards who would constantly follow Madeline around in a different car.

It felt uncomfortable at first, but Madeline got used to it, eventually.

Director Wang gave her a free day to rest and understand her role as Renata Glass again, and after a day of rest, she absolutely crushed all of her scenes. She completed all but one final scene, where Harry and Jillian would kill her to cover up Harry’s sin.

Harry and Jillian tied Renata up after spiking her drink to make her lose consciousness.

Harry wiped the sweat on his forehead, still unsure if this was the right thing to do. "Are you sure we need to do this? She is the daughter of my most important shareholder. What if he found out that his daughter had been killed?"

"As long as there’s no trace of us around her body, then we should be fine," Jillian said coldly while looking at the unconscious Renata. "You’re not the only one she slept with. If her father reported her missing or killed, they would probably focus on her ex-boyfriends rather than a fling like you."

Harry was slightly offended by his wife calling him a mere fling for Renata Glass. It was obvious that Renata was in love with him.

Nevertheless, this wasn’t the right time to argue with Jillian. He had to get rid of this bitch, so he could get some peace of mind.

Harry put Renata inside the trunk while he drove her car to a cliff with Jillian sitting beside him.

Once they arrived at the quiet cliff, they worked together to put Renata in the driver’s seat and push the car to the edge of the cliff.

Little did they know, Renata slowly regained her consciousness, and once she opened her eyes, she looked around in bewilderment.

Renata gasped as she looked beyond the edge of the cliff and saw treacherous currents and jagged rocks, half hidden by the waves, waiting for her.

The car continued moving forward, and with her hands tied, she couldn’t take control of it.

"No! NO!" Renata yelled as she panicked. She looked back and saw Harry and Jillian pushing her into her demise.

Her eyes turned red immediately, and she yelled, "LET ME GO! HOW DARE YOU, HARRY HURST!"

Harry jolted when he heard Renata yelling at him.

He stopped pushing and stared at Renata, who desperately tried to unbind herself.

"J—Jillian, she’s awake!"

"Then keep pushing!" Jillian yelled an order for her husband.

"But she’s awake! What should I do?!"

"There is no turning back now, Harry! She already knows everything. If you let her off now, we will be arrested for attempted murder!" Jillian yelled as loudly as possible so she could drown out Renata’s voice.

"Let me go!" Renata began crying while desperately trying to unbind herself. She shifted her gaze between the pair of treacherous couples and the rocky end that would lead to her death.

As she grew increasingly desperate, she yelled, "Fine! I will not bother you anymore, Harry! I won’t tell my dad this either! I will leave you be. Just let me go!"

Harry grew increasingly muddled as he didn’t know what to do. He looked back and forth between Renata and Jillian, but the final nail in the coffin was when Jillian said,

"Do you believe me or her, Harry Hurst? You cheated on me, and this bitch is your downfall, but I still want to help you cover up your crimes! If you let her go now, we will both go to jail! What do you think will happen to our baby?!"

"B—Baby? You’re pregnant?"

"Yes! Now push this car because I’m at my limit!" Jillian yelled while enduring the pain in her stomach.

Harry was finally persuaded. He looked at Renata guiltily and said, "I’m sorry, Renata. But you’ve got to go. I can’t let my wife go to jail while pregnant."

"No! She’s lying! She’s not pregnant at all! Harry, I’m the one who loves you, not her!" Renata then pleaded for him to save her, but Harry ignored her and exerted all of his strength to push the car.

In the end, there was nothing but a loud scream coming from inside the car as it crashed into the pile of jagged rocks under the cliff. Neither Jillian nor Harry wanted to see the aftermath, knowing that Renata must’ve died upon impact.

"I killed a woman because of you, Jillian," Harry said while staring at the sea.

"No, WE killed a woman because of you," Jillian corrected. "This wouldn’t have happened if you kept your dick zipped."

Harry clenched his fist. But what Jillian said was right. Thus, he tried to divert the topic by saying, "How about the baby inside you? How come you haven’t told me about it?"

"What baby?" Jillian smirked.

Harry’s eyes widened as he realized that he had been duped, "Y—You mean—"

"I’m not pregnant, Harry. I refused to get pregnant until you got rid of that Renata Glass bitch," Jillian said. "But now that she’s dead, then maybe we can start anew and have our own baby, right?"

Harry’s face paled.

Renata was telling the truth, but he was so happy with the idea of having a baby that he ignored her.

"You are insane, Jillian."

"I am insane because you turned me into this, so bear the responsibility, Harry. We’re now a real partner in crime. You can’t ignore me anymore."

They were still on the production set, and they would use CGI to animate the cliff and jagged rocks.

But Madeline’s acting was so convincing that everyone thought she was really about to die.
