"I don’t think we should discuss that with your brother. He might leak it at his school," Jasmin said. "We’re still bound by contract, remember?"

"Ah, right, I forgot." Madeline nodded.

Funnily enough, she was actually the one without any proper contract regarding this reality show.

She flew to Bali and joined the reality show without being briefed or given an introduction.

However, it was probably for the shock factor more than anything.

"Well, apparently, there was nothing interesting during our vacation. The crew got bored, and we did nothing except play around and have sex," Jasmin said.

"We tried the jacuzzi," Russel mentioned.

"Sex in the jacuzzi, mhm."

"We swim too..."

"And have sex at the pool, yes. We did many things, but it was mostly about sex." Jasmin leaked everything in front of Madeline, and Russel’s cheeks reddened.

Madeline laughed, seeing their dynamic. "So, Valerie just shipped you two back to Los Angeles after two weeks?"

"Yep." Jasmin rolled her eyes. "I was waiting for the flight to Thailand. I want to see Phuket. But they gave us a flight back to L.A. instead."

"With your prize money, it shouldn’t be expensive to fly to Phuket, right?"

"Yeah, but I’d rather use it to fund my next album and pay rent," Jasmin replied. She glanced at Russel and added, "Russel also plans to use his money to start a stand-up comedy bar."

"You should come once the bar is open!" Russel said enthusiastically. "Bring Zane too! I’ll make sure to give you two a front-row seat!"

"Zane? Haha..." Madeline laughed awkwardly.

Jasmin elbowed Russel’s stomach to warn him, which made the man almost vomit his guts out.

"S—Sorry," Russel said. "I didn’t mean to make you sad."

"No, it’s fine, and I’m also sure that Zane is fine now," Madeline said. "Two weeks had passed, after all. He must’ve moved on from the reality show."

Russel and Jasmin glanced at each other.

Jasmin planned to keep this information to herself because Madeline was currently dating Lancelot Grant. She didn’t want to destroy their relationship.

"T—Then, how about you and Lance? Is everything alright?"

"No." Madeline shrugged. "We’re just business partners now. It’s better like that, actually. We don’t match."

"So you’re not dating him anymore?"

"You can say that," Madeline said. ’Though we’ve never actually dated, anyway. The closest we had was just a one-night stand in Bali.’

"I see. If you say so, then I guess I can give you this information," Jasmin said as she took out her phone and showed the screen. Madeline saw a phone number under the name ’Zane Eastwood’ in her contact list.

Madeline’s eyes widened. "Jasmin, how did you get his number?"

"I didn’t. But he contacted me this morning right after Summer Heat Lovers’ first episode aired. He told me to give his phone number to you in secret."

"He... told you that?"

"Yes, he also said that you should call him only when you’re in need or in a dire situation when you’re desperate for help," Jasmin said. "I will send his contact information to you."

Madeline’s phone vibrated, and she got Zane’s personal phone number from Jasmin. Something that she hadn’t expected at all.

Because Zane had become a fleeting daydream in her mind, a good man who wanted to bond with her was extremely rare, if almost unreal, just like a daydream.

"Well, I’ve given you his number. Whether you want to call him or not, that’s up to you, Maddy," Jasmin said. "Now, can we go downstairs and order pizza? I’m actually starving."

"Oh... sure!" Madeline quickly pocketed her phone and led the way downstairs.

Nathan was still watching Summer Heat Lovers and got heated up seeing his sister did the girl boss move by using Zane Eastwood to do her bidding.

"Nathan, we’re going to order pizza. Which one would you like?"

"Pepperoni," Nathan said as he quickly fixed his expression when everyone joined him. However, he was actually trying his best to contain his joy at seeing his sister on TV for a good show rather than a trashy interview.

Jasmin sat beside Nathan and asked, "Do you want to hear a spoiler? Since three of the contestants are here with you right now."

"No, no, I’m enjoying this. I don’t want any spoilers," Nathan refused.

"Oh, really?" Jasmin looked at Madeline and grinned mischievously. "Let me tell you who will get eliminated next—"

Nathan quickly covered his ears and said, "Nananana! Don’t talk to me! I don’t want spoilers!"

Everyone laughed as they spent the night having a pizza party and laughed about a few things happening during the filming of Summer Heat Lovers.

Of course, not wanting any spoilers for the currently trending reality show, Nathan quickly covered his ears whenever there was a slight hint of what would happen next.

"So, what are you going to do next, girl?" Jasmin asked while drinking a Coke after pizza.

"I don’t know." Madeline shrugged. "It all depends on my agency. They could send me to another reality show if they want to."

"But what do you really want?"

"I just want to survive," Madeline replied. "I don’t want to set a goal when my fate is uncertain. I will do any showbiz gig to feed my family and live well."
