She Becomes A Hot Sensation After A Scandalous Affair -
Chapter 101
Chapter 101: Chapter 101
After a full day of flight, the plane finally landed in the late afternoon at Los Angeles International Airport.
Madeline and Lance walked out of the plane and were privately escorted first because of their status and upon Lance’s request.
They walked side by side, and Lance tried to hold her hands a few times.
But Madeline quickly brushed it off, much to his annoyance.
"You don’t even want to hold my hand?" he asked. "I’m your boyfriend, aren’t I?"
Madeline quickly elbowed him. "Ssh! I don’t want to give any lurking paparazzi a chance to picture us together. I don’t want to ruin your image."
...
Lance’s mood eased as Madeline told him about it.
Honestly, that was what Lance wanted.
He wanted his older brother to notice this threat by getting them photographed by paparazzi and making a lot of buzz on the internet.
But this wasn’t the right time because Madeline’s infamy wasn’t enough to make her unstoppable.
She needed to be so notorious that not even Grant’s connections and family power could stop the nasty rumors about Lance and Madeline from spreading like wildfire.
"You should walk first. Your driver has been waiting in the lobby," Lance said.
"Alright, call me if you’ve made your decision, Mr. Grant," Madeline said as she walked faster and left Lance alone.
Lance stared at Madeline’s waist, which swayed beautifully, and his heartbeat began to race as he remembered their night together.
"My sweet little vixen..." Lance murmured.

"Good afternoon, Miss. I’m glad you’re home safe," Ada greeted as she grabbed the luggage from Madeline’s hand and walked to their car.
Madeline sat in the backseat as Ada drove out of the airport.
Ada checked on her boss from the rearview mirror and commented, "Honestly, I thought you’d return in a month. You told me the filming will take an entire month, right? It’s only thirteen days since you left, Miss."
"Well, things changed, and I’ve been forced to return early," Madeline replied tiredly.
"Did you get eliminated early?" Ada asked curiously. "I mean, I don’t think Mr. Grant will allow you to get eliminated early. You’re his girlfriend, after all."
"I was in the final. So I survived all the games," Madeline replied. She leaned on the backseat and sighed. "It’s Lance. He got jealous because I was kissing another man during the reality show. So, he probably forced Valerie to hasten the filming process. He even came in person to pick me up during the final."
"Ah..." Ada went quiet for a moment. She wasn’t sure how to talk about it because her boss said that she was kissing another man during the filming.
Would this count as cheating or not? Ada wasn’t sure either.
Madeline seemed to have guessed what was on Ada’s mind, saying, "It’s necessary for the reality show if I want to survive. Lance put me in a difficult position, and I don’t want to embarrass myself in front of the world by acting like an idiot."
"Mr. Grant put you in a difficult position?" Ada frowned. "I thought he loved you, Miss."
"I thought so as well," Madeline scoffed. "Anyway, I don’t want to talk about him for now. Please drive me back to my home so I can rest."
"Understood."
**
It was already evening by the time Madeline arrived at her home. She thanked Ada as the latter carried her luggage and put it next to the door.
Ada excused herself as she drove away, and Madeline knocked on the door a few times before Nathan opened it.
Nathan stared at her awkwardly as he greeted, "W—Welcome home, Maddy, I have—urk!"
Madeline didn’t let Nathan finish his sentence. She hugged him as tight as she could because she actually missed her brother a lot.
"Let me go—urk! You’re choking me!" Nathan protested.
"Aww, little bro doesn’t miss his sister?" Madeline giggled. She let go of her brother and carried her luggage inside.
She looked around and realized that the house was spotless.
He cleaned everything up and even prepared a lunch for Madeline.
"Wow, I was scared that you’d die without me around. But you seem far more independent than I thought," Madeline muttered.
"I made dinner for us. Eat it first," Nathan said as he snatched Madeline’s luggage and carried it upstairs.
Madeline sat at the dining table and stared at the lasagna that Nathan had made for her, and a wave of sadness hit her.
It looked delicious, as always. She knew that she could count on her little brother to cook.
But it also made her sad because this was proof that Nathan grew up independently, without their parents around, because they were all so busy catering to Madeline, a rising star at the time.
Even after Madeline was caught in a scandal, their father had already run away at that time, and Nathan had no time to spend with their parents.
’It makes me feel like I’ve robbed him of his childhood with Mom and Dad...’ Madeline thought. ’Now that I’ve become this most hated bitch, I don’t know how he could handle the problem in his school...’
As Madeline was busy with her thoughts, Nathan went to his room and returned an envelope.
He sat facing Madeline at the dining table and put the envelope on her side. "This is the money you gave me. I only spent five hundred, mostly for groceries, and I uh... took some to buy snacks and video game currencies. Sorry."
Madeline checked the envelope, and Nathan was being honest.
She had given him five thousand before she left, but he only spent five hundred. He could’ve splurged the money, but he didn’t.
’Should I give him the rest of it?’ Madeline wondered. ’He has been good to me for so long. He deserves something good. But if I just gave it to him, it wouldn’t be a good way to teach a teenager...’
Thus, Madeline gave him five hundred and said, "This is for you. You must’ve been scared when I wasn’t around."
