Su Wanxin had been gloomy all the way until she got off work. When she left the company’s main gate, she saw a bespoke golden Ferrari parked by the roadside.

She frowned and glanced at the car, but didn’t go over. Instead, she turned and walked towards the subway station.

As Su Wanxin walked, she became the center of attention. The reason was that the Ferrari was slowly trailing behind her, unhurriedly, as if it were accompanying her on a leisurely stroll.

Su Wanxin’s frown deepened as she walked, until eventually she stopped in her tracks and angrily kicked the luxury car behind her.

Her kick made the onlookers gasp, and it also brought a smile to Fu Shihan inside the car. He hadn’t seen her flushed with anger in a long time, and he found it amusing.

Fu Shihan rolled down the window and looked at the still angry Su Wanxin, asking, "Are you getting in the car yourself, or should I come out and carry you in?"

The car got onto the elevated road and sped off. After dozens of minutes, they arrived at a restaurant—well-known and difficult to book.

When the waiter saw Fu Shihan, he respectfully called out "Mr. Fu" and welcomed them inside. Su Wanxin surveyed the restaurant; it was elegant and quiet. The spacious first-floor hall only had five plush booth seats, ensuring the privacy of the diners.

At the table, Su Wanxin glanced at the menu, but before she could speak, Fu Shihan had already ordered all the dishes she wanted.

He had always had a clear grasp of her preferences over the years, even clearer than she had herself.

Su Wanxin lowered her head without speaking to him. Seeing that she was not in a good mood, Fu Shihan asked with a laugh in his voice, "I heard Lin Shihan came to your office to cause trouble this afternoon?"

"Yeah." Su Wanxin nodded her head. "It was really annoying."

"Have you forgotten what I taught you before?"

Upon hearing this, she looked up at him. "You’ve taught me a lot, and I’ve forgotten a lot too."

And she was right. Since she moved into the Fu Family household at seven years old, she had been made to learn this and that, trailing behind Fu Shihan.

At first, she was willing to learn—after all, a country girl fresh out of the orphanage found everything to be novel. She followed Fu Shihan learning horsemanship, piano, golf, and as she got older, even when she didn’t want to learn, Fu Shihan would force her to.

When she was in elementary school, Fu Shihan made her study his middle school subjects; in middle school, he forced her to write his high school homework.

Back then, Fu Shihan appeared to be an obedient and smart top student, never slipping from the top rank in his grade, but in private, he skipped classes and got into fights, doing all sorts of things. Half the year’s homework was completed by Su Wanxin.

She also tried to refuse and struggle, but then Fu Shihan said she didn’t have to write if she didn’t want to—she just needed to kiss him. Naturally, Su Wanxin didn’t want that; angry and annoyed yet not daring to offend him, she could only obediently write the homework.

"I’ve taught you if there’s someone you don’t like to see, you should find a way to make sure they never appear in front of you again."

Fu Shihan’s indifferent words pulled Su Wanxin back from her thoughts to reality.

"Lin Shihan—she won’t have the chance to appear before you ever again."

Su Wanxin: "What did you do to her?"

"What do I need to do?" Fu Shihan laughed. "The crimes the Lin Family has committed over the years are enough to put them away for good. I am a model citizen, responsible for reporting all kinds of illegal activities and safety hazards, to jointly manage, build, and share the tranquility of our city."
