Su Wanxin didn’t expect Lin Shihan to come back looking for her, much less accuse her in front of everyone while sobbing.

"Was it you? It must have been you who caused my father’s downfall!" Tears streamed down Lin Shihan’s face, her eyes filled with resentment. "I know it was you, please, can you spare my family?"

Her outburst attracted a crowd at the company. Su Wanxin observed people taking pictures with their phones, and her expression darkened.

"I did it?" Su Wanxin sneered. "If I had the power to force the Vice Mayor of Hai City to make so many mistakes and embezzle so much money, would I have almost been killed by you?"

Lin Shihan paused, then denied it, "What nonsense are you spouting now?!"

"Lin Shihan, the three men who appeared that day at the KTV, you sent them, didn’t you?"

Su Wanxin’s words reminded many of the incident that occurred that night.

Everyone was happily enjoying themselves that night, and Su Wanxin went out saying she was heading to the restroom but never returned, only appearing at the office the next afternoon with injuries. When asked what happened, she merely smiled and didn’t explain.

"If I hadn’t jumped from the second floor to escape that day, who knows where they would have drugged and taken me. I’ve been merciful enough to not hold you accountable, yet you’re snapping at me like a mad dog, how is this justified?"

"You’re spouting baseless accusations! Everyone knows you’re acquainted with the Eldest Young Master of the Fu Family, and you even had a scandal with Lu Ci! How could my father have been arrested right after landing if not for you?"

"What about my scandal with Lu Ci?" Su Wanxin raised an eyebrow. "Not only do I have scandals with him, but I have been linked with many other big shots too. Haven’t you heard that I’m incredibly busy every night, almost like having a harem of the most powerful figures in Imperial Capital’s financial circles?"

Su Wanxin’s comment made many chuckle, and she gave them a look.

"Stop laughing, or I’ll draft you all to take over the world with me!"

Apparently brainwashed by someone, Lin Shihan created a chaotic scene at the company until the police finally took her away.

Su Wanxin also went to the police station, gave a statement, and recounted the near-kidnapping at the KTV. Chen Lei and Su Yan, who accompanied her, both darkened their expressions upon hearing it.
