Fu Shihan heard Lin Rui’s words and let out a cold laugh. He stood up, grabbed the car keys, and walked outside, then instructed Jing Jingwen to keep a close eye on Su Wanxin and not let her leave the house.

Descending to the garage, Fu Shihan drove straight to Zhan Che’s hospital. More than an hour later, he appeared in front of Zhan Che.

Zhan Che, having just finished his rounds and checking on several patients, saw him coming furiously and mostly guessed the reason.

"Wait a moment, I need to speak with the nurse."

Zhan Che opened the door to his office, letting Fu Shihan wait inside, then busied himself for another ten minutes before entering the room with a sigh.

On the sofa, Fu Shihan seemed like the Grim Reaper himself, bringing down the temperature of the room.

Zhan Che tightened his robe, sat down on a chair, looked at him, and asked, "President Fu, you came here so late, is there something important?"

"What do you think?" Fu Shihan was not in the mood to beat around the bush. He glanced at the laptop on his desk, his smile sardonic. "No explanation?"

"What do I have to explain?"

Zhan Che was not at all panicked; he stared into Fu Shihan’s eyes, not showing the timidity he had when they first met.

"Shouldn’t the person who should be explaining be President Fu himself?"

"So you mean to admit that it was you who sent that email?"

Zhan Che replied, "Not me, just someone happened to be beside me and used my computer."

He smiled strangely, looking at Fu Shihan, playfully asking, "President Fu, guess who that person could be?"

Fu Shihan returned the gaze, noting his facial reaction, and suddenly felt a bad premonition.

"Su Wanxin."

He almost gritted his teeth as he spoke those three words; upon hearing them, Zhan Che smiled and nodded.

"That’s right, it’s her." He knew he couldn’t hide the truth and even if he didn’t confess, he guessed Su Wanxin would own up eventually.

She was such a cold and ruthless person; she was slowly blocking her own retreat, leaving herself no chance to turn back.

"So, President Fu, want to guess what earth-shattering news Su Wanxin will disclose next?"

Zhan Che had been pondering this question all day, and by the end, he was terrified.

Fu Shihan remained silent, making Zhan Che even more agitated.

He had been taking care of Su Wanxin for three years, he knew how difficult these three years had been for her, but others did not know, Fu Shihan did not know.

Su Wanxin always insisted they keep it secret, but Zhan Che couldn’t be as resolute as her.

"Given my understanding of Su Wanxin, if one day she really decides to leave, the next news she will expose is the so-called truth about the car accident three years ago. She will tell everyone that it was she who crippled Li Mo’s legs."

Upon hearing this, Fu Shihan’s eyes darkened, Zhan Che drank some water and continued.
