Chapter 187: Chapter 187 What exactly did he do to make her feel that he doesn’t love her?!

"Has Wanxin been with you for these three years?"

Mu Suyu had just taken a step forward when she heard Fu Shihan’s low voice asking from the sofa.

She stood still, with her back towards him, thinking hard. Finally, she felt that this question was no big deal and didn’t touch on what Wanxin had forbidden her to talk about, so she nodded readily.

"Yes, what about it? What does it have to do with you?"

Mu Suyu turned back to look at Fu Shihan, visibly unhappy. She truly felt injustice for Wanxin, which emboldened her to confront Fu Shihan directly.

"Why don’t you just mind your own fiancée? Why bother about our Wanxin?"

Thinking about all that Wanxin had gone through for the Fu Family, Mu Suyu felt heartache.

Mu Suyu had traveled everywhere with her Grandpa since she was young, she had seen many people and experienced many things, but she had never met someone like Wanxin.

In Mu Suyu’s eyes, Wanxin was a mix of contradictions.

She was gentle, yet stubborn. Kind, yet ruthless.

In some ways, she was fragile, always walking on the brink of death, a slight oversight could send her plummeting into a deep abyss.

Yet, she remained fearless, advancing on the path she believed in.

She loved this man; she said this man was the light of her life. Just thinking about him gave her the hope and courage to keep living.

But what did she get in return for all her desperate efforts to come back?

"I hate you. Wanxin is right, you don’t really love her."

Mu Suyu thought of all the hardships Wanxin had endured over the years, and tears involuntarily fell. She wiped her eyes, spoke with a choked voice, and ran upstairs without looking back.

Fu Shihan sat on the sofa, watching her leave, musing over her last statement.

Wanxin said he didn’t love her?

What the hell had he done, for her to feel he didn’t love her?!

Fu Shihan curved his lips, not knowing whether to cry or to scoff at himself.

The room was terrifyingly silent, he leaned his head back on the sofa, his mind unusually blank, his heart in turmoil.

He continuously thought back over the years he had spent with Wanxin, years he had cherished her above all, unreservedly doting on her.

He loved her without knowing limits, anything she desired, even if only one existed and belonged to someone else, he would ensure he got it for her happiness.

Yet all he had done, in her eyes, amounted to not loving her?

A sense of overwhelming defeat swept over him. Fu Shihan, in his 27 years of life, had never felt as defeated as he did in this moment.

He irritably pulled out a cigarette, but before he could light it, his phone rang. Glancing at it, it was a call from Lin Rui.

Fu Shihan had asked Lin Rui that morning to investigate the source of the media leaks, and it seemed likely he now had an answer.

With nowhere to vent his anger, this call came at just the right time.

He picked up the phone, Lin Rui’s voice coming through the receiver.

"Brother Han, I’ve found out. All major media received an email at 10:30 this morning from the same email account. I’ve also tracked down the IP address, however, ..."

"However, what?" Fu Shihan, detecting hesitation, asked coldly.

"The situation is a bit strange."

Lin Rui frowned, looking at the address on his computer.

"It seems we know the person who leaked the information."

The computer that sent the emails, at this moment, was located in a hospital outside the city. And that private hospital belonged to Zhan Che.
