Chapter 156: Special Chapter 1

Blue’s chest burned with indescribable intensity. His entire body trembled as he wheezed.

Tear drops splattered on the asphalt ground, rolling down from Blue’s eyes.

"No, hah, it can’t be. Winter w-wouldn’t..." Blue tried to convince himself that he’d seen wrong.

He shook his head in denial.

Winter couldn’t cheat on him. Winter loved him. Winter loved him. Winter promised that he’d never get tired of him. Winter wanted to spend the rest of his life with him.

It didn’t make any sense for Winter to cheat on him.

And yet, the image of Winter cupping Kendall’s face replayed in Blue’s head. His thoughts began to spiral, his mind conjured up more images of Winter doing intimate things with Kendall behind his back.

Kendall had told him that he didn’t like Winter anymore. And that he wasn’t the type of person to get in between other people’s relationships, so why?

Why hadn’t he pushed Winter’s hand away? Why hadn’t...

The more Blue thought about it, the more his chest and heart hurt. He couldn’t even breathe properly as he began to wheeze because of the strong smell of pheromones that clouded his nostrils.

His glands were acting up so much that the pain on the back of his neck was unbearable. The scent of vanilla with a hint of honey was too strong, and he couldn’t smell anything else.

It was all too suffocating.

He needed air. He needed to breathe.

Blue dragged his legs from the alleyway, trying to get sunlight and air. But as he walked, his vision was blurred with tears and he couldn’t see the path ahead of him clearly.

Blue managed to reach the side of the road. He wiped his teary cheeks with the back of his hand, unashamed of crying in front of the people that passed by him. He couldn’t even think about shame at this point as his thoughts had become clouded, and his pheromone scent became even more pungent.

Just then, he heard someone call out for him, saying, "Blue!"

Blue lifted his head to see Winter and Kendall walking out from the café together.

’How could they? Winter still has the audacity to call out for me. After cheating in broad daylight.’ Blue thought, rage clouding his judgement and perception.

Blue’s fists tightened at either side as he watched Winter run up to him.

"Blue, what’s wrong with you? Are you okay?" Winter asked in concern, reaching to touch him.

"Fuck you!" Blue snapped, slapping away Winter’s hand and taking two steps backwards. "You fucking liar! How dare you do this to me!? I trusted you!"

Winter’s expression was a mix of confusion and concern.

"Blue... what are you talking about? Calm down a little. Your pheromones are all over the place." Winter spoke with a gentle tone, approaching Blue softly.

Blue became even more angrier as he took more steps back from Winter, despising the mere idea of sharing the same breathing space as him.

"So what?!" Blue raged.

"Blue, you’re going too far. Come back a little," Kendall stepped forward to speak.

"I’m going too far?? Not you who went against your own words in less than 24-hours?" Blue questioned Kendall in accusation.

"What are you- no, Blue, it’s not what you’re thinking. I promise." Kendall changed the tone of his voice midway as he seemed to come to a realization, making an X with his hands.

Blue gritted his teeth. Anytime anyone ever said, ’it’s not what you’re thinking’, they were always guilty. How could they not be? Blue had seen them with his own two eyes!

He couldn’t have seen wrong, could he? No, he couldn’t. They had been–

"Blue, watch out!!" Winter exclaimed, rushing towards Blue.

Everything happened too fast. Too fast for Blue to understand what Winter wanted him to watch out for and why Winter had a desperate expression on his face as he rushed towards him.

One second, he was standing at a fair distance from Winter and Kendall. The next second, he was struck with an intense impact that sent him flying down to the rough asphalt ground.

Blue landed on his back with his head hitting the road. The right side of his body felt like it was trying to find comfort on the left, his organs squishing to one side.

Blue groaned out in pain. At the same time, his already blurry vision began to grow dim. The world grew silent in his ears, and he could only hear a faint ringing sound in his ears.

"...ue! Blue! Blue!" Blue’s hearing gradually came back as someone appeared in front of him.

Blue managed to see that there were tears in Winter’s eyes as he pulled him up to lay him on his lap.

Blue felt his body grow numb for some reason.

"You’re gonna be fine. I swear it! Call the ambulance! Hurry!" Blue wasn’t sure if Winter was talking to him or Kendall or the passersby that seemed to crowd him.

Blue only knew that it was getting too difficult to breathe. With the mix of the scent of his pheromones and the smell of blood in the air, Blue didn’t know which one was more unbearable.

’Wait a sec... blood...?’ Blue slowly thought, slight sensation returning to his body.

Blue felt something wet trickling down the back of his head and his inner thighs. He managed to gather all his strength to touch his soaked pants, then slowly lifted his hand to look at it.

His hand was covered in blood.

"What the? Where is..." Winter looked at Blue’s hand, and he changed his gaze in search of the source of blood.

"Blue!" When he found it, he exclaimed sharply with a tone that bore true horror.

Winter’s eyes held a terrified expression as he gripped Blue harder. "Ambulance! Where’s the ambulance!? He’s bleeding!"

Blue was suddenly able to hear wee-ooh-wee sounds but they sounded so distant. And he felt so numb. His eyelids were so heavy that he was barely able to keep his eyes open at this point.

"You’re going to be fine. I promise." Winter cupped Blue’s face as he spoke with a manic tone.

Blue wanted to sneer as he looked at Winter who seemed to be fading into darkness. The wee-ooh-wee sounds grew closer and Blue’s lids became heavier.

Before the darkness completely overtook him, he managed to say, "You liar..."
