Shades of Blue (Omegaverse BL) -
Chapter 117 - 115 | My Love
Chapter 117: 115 | My Love
The person who asked that question looked like they were new to the office. She had clear, bright, and eager eyes. The other people standing with her visibly stiffened after hearing that question, so did Winter.
Marriage? He’d never given it a second thought before. But a marriage with Blue was something that he was sure he could live with.
"Ahh, I’m not sure yet. But soon." Those words casually rolled out of Winter’s mouth with a knowing hint to his tone.
The girl’s lips parted with surprise after hearing Winter’s response, then she smiled brightly.
"That’s awesome! I wish you and Mr. Kent happiness!" The girl exclaimed.
The other people didn’t have positive expressions on their faces. It was only a small number of people who liked Blue and believed that his relationship with Winter was pure and real.
For the first time that entire day, a genuine smile appeared on Winter’s face. The smile was so dazzling that it grabbed the attention of the people who were simply passing by, causing them to stop and admire his face.
"Thank you." Winter said to the girl sincerely.
It was always nice whenever he met his CP fan girls. The ones who were ready to defend his and Blue’s relationship no matter what. His mood always became good after hearing that he and Blue were the best couple.
Winter exchanged a few words with the people before he decided to call it a day as he went into his car. Once alone and left to his own thoughts, Winter began to craft a plan to get Blue to forgive him.
It was hard. Blue was too stubborn. Too prideful. And too closed off. It seemed like apologies didn’t work on him either. Winter wasn’t sure about the best way to approach Blue and catch him again.
Should he give Blue the distance he wanted first and wait for Blue to reach out for him?
No.
Blue would probably never take the first step. His ego wouldn’t let him.
Should he find a way to force and coerce Blue back into his house, then from there seduce Blue and cloud his thoughts?
That was doable. However, forcing Blue would lead to his doom and probably a solid beating.
Should he show up wherever Blue went and constantly remind Blue that they were perfect for each other and he wouldn’t be stupid again?
Hmm...
Winter stroked his chin as he drove. But Blue no longer worked on set. He was probably staying at a new place now. Winter was sure that Blue would never invite him into the house and he’d spend most of his time begging from the outside.
"Ah, fuck..." Winter sighed.
Other people were busy proposing to their partners and getting engaged while he was too scared to even approach his own partner for fear of getting beaten to a pulp.
His taste was really extraordinary.
Winter met a traffic light and had to stop. He continued thinking as he glanced around him lazily and spotted a flower shop. It was the same one he always went to when he pissed Blue off and needed to regain himself through a grand gesture to buy grand flower bouquets.
Winter looked at the flower shop, stroking his chin. The traffic light turned green, his car swerved in the direction of the flower shop.
Before alighting his vehicle, Winter called Logan and asked him to send Blue’s number. Apparently, something else had happened to his phone, making him register for a new one.
It was like the universe was trying to keep him away from contacting Blue. But he was the darling of the heavens. Even if the entire world was against him, the heavens would surely be on his side.
Logan didn’t waste any time in doing as was requested by Winter of him. Winter dialed the number the first time, Blue didn’t pick the call. He dialed two more times before the call was accepted at the last ring.
"Hello...?" Blue’s voice was muffled and soft. He sounded like he had just woken up from a good nap.
Winter immediately felt guilty for disturbing Blue’s peace, but his mission was of a greater purpose, so he suppressed the guilt he was feeling and spoke out.
"Hey. It’s me." Winter breathed out.
"I thought I told you to stay away from me." Blue’s tone instantly became sharp and icy.
"I know. But I can’t do that. I can’t stay away from you for too long. It hurts not to see you every day." Winter spoke with a desperate tone.
As a master in all things faking, knowing the perfect voice and words to use when he wanted to get something was relatively easy for Winter.
"That’s none of my business. Have you forgotten that we’re no longer–"
"My love, please." Winter said over Blue’s words and he could hear as Blue’s breath hitched in his throat before he stopped talking.
Calling Blue his love was the Omega’s weakest point. Winter knew this all too well.
"I just want to see you. I won’t touch you. I promise." Lies.
Winter wanted to see Blue, touch him, keep him. Looking was not enough. It had never been enough.
"Please, my love." Winter added, seeing that Blue hadn’t said anything.
He could already sense Blue’s resolve shaking. Blue was not as strong hearted as he thought himself to be. Winter knew this as well.
"Whatever." Blue said, then hung up.
"Yes!" Winter fist bumped the air. Blue’s ’whatever’ literally meant, ’yes, I give you full permission to do whatever you want.’
Winter rejoiced like a mad person on the street for a few moments before regaining composure and walking into the flower shop.
He was going to get back his love for sure with nothing standing in his way!
Author has something to say: You didn’t hear this from me but there are probably brighter days ahead for Winter and Blue!
