Chapter 113: 111 | Die For Him?

"Mom. Dad. I have to tell you something." Winter spoke up to his parents who were both seated across from him.

"What is it?" Sasha inquired with a concerned tone, shifting to the edge of her seat.

Easton grabbed Sasha’s hand in comfort and gestured for her to calm down with a subtle gaze. Winter rarely summoned them to his place like this. It was reason enough for them to worry.

But whatever their child wanted to tell them, it was certain they would help him in every way they could.

"Blue’s pregnant. With my child." Winter didn’t waste his breath as he came out clean.

Easton’s and Sasha’s jaws dropped.

"Pregnant!?" Sasha was the first one to verbally react as she retracted her hand from Easton’s grip and stood up to her feet.

"Yes. Two months long." Winter said.

Easton rose up from his seat as well. "Winter, is this how I trained you? Getting such a delicate Omega pregnant at such a young age! You’re a despicable human being!"

Winter flinched at the tone used on him. His parents never used to yell at him. Even when he would bring Omegas to the family house and introduce them as the love of his life.

His parents had never cautioned him for living recklessly. However, after meeting Blue, Winter received an earful from them almost every day.

It was as though Blue was their biological son instead of him.

"Listen to me, it’s just that–"

"But didn’t Blue break up with you?" Sasha pointed out.

It was no news to his parents that he and Blue were ’no longer together’. They knew everything. Even if he didn’t tell them, Blue, who was their second son, surely would.

"Yes, but I’m going to get him back. He’s pregnant with my child. We have to be together." Winter forced out from his mouth.

Easton looked at him with a frown on his face.

"So you wouldn’t have attempted to get him back if he wasn’t pregnant with your child?" Winter’s father inquired slowly.

Winter opened his mouth to speak but no words came out of it.

He was already planning to get back with Blue. It wasn’t because of the child, was it?

"Winter, I’m so disappointed in you. When did you become this kind of person? Not only has Blue been lonely all this time, now you’re telling me he’s pregnant with your child, and the first thing you want to do is ’get him back’?" Sashe shook her head in disappointment as she spoke to her son.

"What else am I supposed to do?" Winter rose up from his seat as he asked that question, oblivious to what his parents were trying to make him see.

Sasha and Easton gave each other meaningful looks. Easton sighed and decided to speak first.

"The fact that you don’t know shows that you don’t deserve to have Blue." Easton grabbed his wife after saying that.

"No son of mine behaves in such a way." Sasha spoke without sparing Winter a glance.

"What do you guys mean? Wait, where are you going?" Winter yelled after his parents, seeing them making their way out of his house.

"To meet our son!" Easton yelled back, and slammed the door loudly after walking out of the house with his wife.

"What the fuck was that?" Winter said in his parents’ absence.

How could they say he didn’t deserve Blue? Even Blue, himself, had told him that he didn’t deserve him?

After all that he had done, if Winter didn’t deserve Blue, who then? Who then was worthy enough of Blue?

It was so exhausting to have all his efforts and actions looked over and unappreciated. What was left for him to do to show that he truly cared about Blue?

Die for him?

Would that make people see that he was blindly in love with Blue??

***

Blue had his laptop on his thighs as he stared at the blank page displayed on the screen.

After waking up from that dream of his, Blue got the urge to write about it. To write about himself meeting a happy ending.

However, the moment he grabbed his laptop to actually type words, his brain went blank. All his ideas, poof.

He had no problem refining ’Guide to Living as an Omega’ into a script. How he managed to do it? Blue had no idea.

But he needed that same brand of creative juice to write something now.

Blue had told himself a while back that after concluding ’Guide to Living as an Omega’, he wouldn’t write again. But after calculating his expenses now that he was living alone with the amount of money he’d spent dealing with Adonis’s lawsuit, he had no choice but to get back in business.

It was annoying how Adonis had sued him. And yet still had the guts to confess to him. Who sued the one they apparently ’loved’? Even if that ’one’ beat them up to the verge of death.

That was one of the reasons why Blue found it difficult to believe that Adonis truly liked him. Even if he was abnormal, one didn’t treat the one they liked the same way Adonis treated him.

Blue didn’t want to think too much about Adonis and his confession as it was part of a Chapter in his life that he had closed and was done with.

Blue was now focusing on the next Chapter of his life—dealing with a child and making something of himself. Without Winter.

Blue had to prove to himself that he could be just as fine (not really fine) as he was without Winter before he met him now. Which meant that he had to take care of himself very well and the baby inside his womb.

Blue looked down at his flat stomach. The life inside of him.

Just then, he heard the sound of knocking coming from his front door. A scowl settled on his features. It was probably Kendall knocking.

He would just ignore it.
