Chapter 941: 007 The exposure of the secret plot_5

Delivering goods to such a woman, only her sister is foolish enough not to know anything. The smug look on Adelle Turner’s face earlier, she was too pleased with herself. What exactly does that despicable woman have to be so proud of?

"Do I lack money?" Avery Graham said with a laugh, "Alright, I won’t interrupt your work anymore. I’m going to head back."

"Sis, I’ll come home after work tonight. Wait for me at home, and I’ll treat you to hot pot," Giselle Browman told Avery Graham, standing next to her, Michael Auclair was continuously giving her meaningful looks.

It wasn’t because he was giving her looks that she held back from speaking. She simply hadn’t yet decided how to approach Avery about it. The moment she had rushed out earlier, she realized that this matter could not be kept from Avery. She had a right to know and to choose. She would support any decision Avery made, whether or not she continued her relationship with Michael Auclair.

She had even contemplated resigning.

She now felt more than ever that a man like Michael Auclair really wasn’t suitable for Avery Graham.

"Sure. Then Michael, could you tell your coworkers that Giselle and I won’t join the fun?" Avery Graham still remembered Adelle Turner mentioning inviting her for a meal when she left.

Having said that, Avery Graham prepared to leave.

Michael Auclair asked Giselle Browman to go up first without insisting on making Avery stay and then saw Avery Graham off.

As soon as Avery Graham left, the entire company stirred because when Giselle Browman had rushed up earlier, she saw Adelle Turner passing out coffee and egg tarts she had bought from her sister to her coworkers.

She did not know what got into her, but seeing the smug smile on Adelle Turner’s face, her heart pounded furiously, a rush of heat surged to her head, and she charged up and started scuffling with Adelle Turner.

She snatched the egg tarts and coffee from Adelle Turner’s hands and threw them all to the floor. She believed Adelle Turner had no right to use the things her sister made to bolster her own pride.

If she had been unaware before, she now fully sensed that Adelle Turner’s arrogance didn’t stem from taking her team leader position but from leveraging her relationship with Michael Auclair.

"...What are you doing, Giselle Browman?" Everyone just watched as the two women made a scene in front of them, treating it as a diversion during a boring workday.

This was the cold indifference of white-collar beauties.

"What do you think? What right do you have to eat what my sister made? I’m telling you, Adelle Turner, I’ve seen shameless, but I’ve never seen someone as shameless as you," Giselle Browman said furiously. This woman, after getting together with Michael Auclair, had the audacity to show off in front of her sister. The thought of it made her blood boil.

"Me, shameless?" Adelle Turner couldn’t believe her ears, "How am I shameless? Giselle Browman, I’m telling you, when I was with Michael Auclair, I didn’t even know who your sister was. I didn’t know whether she was an onion or garlic."

"Adelle Turner—" The voice of Michael Auclair suddenly echoed thunderously from the entrance of the Grand Hall. He rushed back in a hurry, worried that such a scene would occur, and it indeed did.

"What did you say? Adelle Turner, say it again." This time, Giselle Browman was truly fearless against Michael Auclair’s roar. These two scoundrels dared to act but not to own up. She wanted to see just how shameless they could be.

"I said—" Adelle Turner was not afraid either. She had never intended to swallow her pride, and it was better to blow things out of proportion now, so Michael Auclair would forget marrying Avery Graham.

If she played her cards right by then and got in the good graces of Jollie Auclair a bit more, then the only wife Michael Auclair could have would be her. Adelle Turner had all her plans figured out, that’s why she was so brazen.

"Enough, both of you come with me." Michael Auclair didn’t want to make a scene out of his own matters.

He simply hadn’t expected that a single photograph could stir up such a tempest. Watching everything on the brink of exposure, for the first time, he felt real panic.

He was really worried that Giselle Browman would, in a moment of impulse, tell Avery Graham everything. The straightforward nature of the two sisters was sometimes very similar.
