“Since I’ve secured such a big contract for you, shouldn’t you do something for me too?” Matilda reached for the cigarette box on the bedside table, took out a cigarette, and lit it.

The once pure Matilda was gone, replaced by a woman who now indulged in cigarettes and wine.

Matilda looked at the photos and tore them to shreds in the next second. “You said before that you would help me with anything I wanted, right?”

“Yes, that still stands today.” George Morris squinted his eyes, waiting for Matilda to take the initiative to strike a deal. They had been discussing cooperation before, but Matilda had hesitated due to Bryan. He didn’t force her.

He had learned to be patient, waiting for the fish to bite the hook on its own and then striking hard, preferably right at Bryan’s weakest point.

Actually, those two pictures alone couldn’t prove any intimate relationship between Carolline and Bryan. However, women tended to be jealous, especially since Matilda cared so much about Carolline. George Morris came up with this idea to provoke Matilda.

“Find someone to defile her, make her as tainted as me. Do you understand now?” Matilda turned her head, looking at George Morris as if he was a fool.
