"Yeah, if you weren’t my leader, just my brother-in-law, then I could be basking in my sister and brother-in-law’s glory right now and not have to work so hard." Giselle Browman said with a smile.

"..." Michael Auclair was speechless, realizing this was her motive, "Alright, leave it to me then. You bask in your brother-in-law’s glory, alright? Oh, and I should tell you in advance, it might not work out for you to be the team leader this time, but I’ll help you out next time, okay?"

"Sure, no problem. To tell you the truth, Mr. Auclair, when you asked me to be the team leader before, I was really taken aback. Giselle Browman was a straightforward girl, and she really felt she wasn’t up to the task at the time.

Michael Auclair felt very apologetic to Giselle Browman.

"It’s okay, I don’t want to bask in your glory at the company, but, you know, not having to work hard is something I could take advantage of, hehe. Thanks for the trouble, brother-in-law." Giselle Browman handed over everything she was carrying to Michael Auclair, feeling quite relaxed.

Avery Graham went upstairs first. After several days away from home, it needed a good cleaning. Giselle Browman was basking in her brother-in-law’s glory, but she couldn’t skip out on the work arranged by her sister, so she hurried back and ended up cleaning.

Michael Auclair also stayed to help. He could hire a part-time worker for his place, so he didn’t need to clean himself; a call to the Home Services Company would take care of it.

After they finished cleaning, the three of them were completely worn out. Avery Graham and Giselle Browman didn’t want to go out to eat, and Michael Auclair still had some energy, so he was in charge of ordering takeout. He ordered three pizzas and some grilled wings among other things.

Giselle Browman was the happiest, but Avery Graham was indifferent. Since she had opened her own Cake Shop, she could make pizzas herself; it was just that she was too tired now, otherwise, she would have been willing to bake for them.

However, a truly starving person isn’t picky. Avery Graham was just like that. She ate a whole pizza, drank a can of cola, and had two grilled wings. She was truly stuffed.

When Michael Auclair was about to leave, Avery Graham also went downstairs to see him off and take a walk. The lazy Giselle Browman refused to move no matter what and insisted on staying on the sofa to watch TV.

Michael Auclair and Avery Graham walked hand in hand to the Elevator, and Avery took him to the underground parking lot. Michael Auclair tried to lean in for a kiss, but at the last moment, Avery tilted her head, letting him kiss her cheek instead.

"Alright, go now. It’s getting late, and we have work tomorrow." Avery actually wanted to escape back upstairs to open the Whatsapp Group as soon as possible. There were just too many unbelievable things happening to Celia Wade these days.

And Carolline Ruiz, that girl, they say her honeymoon would not be finished before she had to come back, and then everyone was speculating if she was pregnant with her second child. But that woman was being evasive, saying nothing clearly, just that she would talk after getting checked.

So, it was pretty clear to everyone that her honeymoon was likely concluded with their second child on the way.

She wanted to join the gossip group early, but it would be awkward with Michael Auclair still there.

After watching him get into his car, Avery went back up in the Elevator. Then she went to the supermarket outside the Residential Area, bought some food, and went back home.
