Chapter 795: Chapter 795: A Blood Clot (8)

The two were busy working together in the kitchen, and Miss He was initially quite anxious. After all, Mr. Wade was her half-master, but here he was helping her prepare dinner. She was a bit nervous.

But Jordy Wade was very amiable, and gradually Miss He relaxed a lot.

Moreover, Mr. Wade was much more efficient than Miss Wade in the kitchen. Miss Wade wasn’t suited to cooking, presumably having been used to being waited on hand and foot in the past. No wonder, when she hired a caretaker, her only requirement was that they could cook and prepare delicious meals.

At the time she just laughed; her cooking skills were pretty good. Whenever she cooked at home, mealtime would never result in any waste.

Whether Mr. Wade was chopping or washing vegetables, he did it with ease, making Miss He wonder if Mr. Wade was a chef in the past?

"Mr. Wade, did you use to cook a lot? You weren’t a chef before, were you?" Miss He is quite lively. After she became less nervous around Jordy Wade, she started to ramble on.

"I can’t remember what I did before. I don’t know if I was a chef. Is it hard to cut vegetables?" Jordy Wade replied seriously.

"Not hard, but, Miss Wade has helped me for a few months. And the shredded potatoes that she cut are more of potato slices." Miss He chuckled.

Celia Wade was actually eager to learn. When she first arrived, Celia, seeing that her caretaker’s kitchen skills were quite good, was very envious and insisted on having her as her master. Miss He took her seriously and taught her how to shred potatoes as the first dish. However, after a few months, Miss Wade’s knife skills were pretty much the same as they were in the beginning, so Miss He just gave up.

She finally believed that saying, some people are naturally not suited for certain things, not everyone will improve with effort.

"Really?" Jordy Wade continued to cut vegetables with his head down while images of Celia Wade in the kitchen suddenly flashed in his mind. Unable to contain his laughter, he smiled.

"Then you tell me more about her in your eyes, thank you." Jordy Wade suddenly requested.

Miss He paused. Once she understood what Mr. Wade meant, she began to talk eloquently about what kind of person Miss Wade was in her eyes.

So as they chatted happily and harmoniously, dinner was prepared.

Celia, in her room, was thinking and gradually fell asleep.

At five fifty, dinner was ready, portions for three people, five dishes, and a soup.

Miss He went to wake her up, but Jordy Wade stopped her, saying to let her sleep a little longer. So, the food was put into the thermal pot and not until half past six when it gradually got dark, did Jordy Wade let Miss He call people.

He himself didn’t go, afraid that seeing the sleeping Celia Wade, he wouldn’t have the heart to wake her.

Once Miss He knocked, Celia woke up. Although she nodded off, because she was thinking about Jordy Wade outside, she didn’t sleep very deeply, so she woke up once there was a sound.

After quickly washing up, she came out. When she saw the dinner on the table and Miss He told her that two of the dishes were cooked by Mr. Wade himself with no help from her, Celia Wade looked at him with immense gratitude.

"I tossed something together. Don’t force yourself to eat it if you don’t like it." Jordy Wade reminded her.

"No way, what you cooked is the tastiest in the whole world." Because she had eaten it before, Celia knew it would be delicious. Even though Carolline Ruiz said that the taste really wasn’t that good, in her mouth, it was the most delicious, the most delicious of all.

Jordy Wade was very moved, "Sit down and eat, Miss He said your dinner time is always six o’clock."
