"A man as gossipy as you, I’ve never seen a second one," Megan Clifton shook her head, even she never asked Carolline Ruiz about her and Bryan Hawkins’ considerations of having a second child.

Axel is so adorable, she felt one such cute child in one’s lifetime was enough.

"No, it’s a gathering. My single friend will be there; it can be a chance for an indirect blind date. Mia Parker is still single so..." Carolline Ruiz teased Gary Skate.

"Make fun of me then." Gary Skate glared at her, "So, it’s not a date just for you two tonight? If that’s the case, I’ll brazenly join."

Just go if you want to, there’s no need to find so many excuses.

After work in the evening, Bryan Hawkins came to pick her up, with Gary Skate following them in his car. Car by car, they headed towards the restaurant.

Mia Parker’s requirements did seem too demanding. But Bryan Hawkins didn’t mind it; he was ok with paying the bill tonight because Jasmine Ruiz hasn’t attended a gathering for a while due to work.
