With just two days left before the start of school, Carolline Ruiz had three consecutive days off and would be able to send Axel to school on Monday.

On the first day, the couple took Axel shopping to prepare everything he needed for the new school year. It was like this every year, but for Axel, the excitement didn’t come from the new clothes or shoes; it came from having both his parents with him for the first time. He felt incredibly happy and content.

One hand holding his dad’s hand and the other holding his mom’s, the family of three, dressed in matching outfits that Bryan Hawkins had prepared on a whim, walked around wearing sunglasses. This high-profile entrance attracted many curious glances as soon as they stepped out of the car.

Axel had always been a handsome and well-behaved child, so whenever Carolline took him out, they would receive envious looks from others. However, this level of attention was a first for her, and it felt a bit strange.

"Mom, it’s fine. You’ll get used to it after a few times." Carolline complained to Bryan Hawkins about their attire, but Axel seemed to enjoy it a lot, as if he was born to be the center of attention.

Carolline was speechless, and Bryan Hawkins smiled mischievously.

When taking Axel shopping, Carolline usually went to the mall as Emily Hill suggested that children’s clothes didn’t have to be branded but should be of good quality. To ensure good quality, they couldn’t buy cheap clothes. As a result, Axel’s grandparents would sponsor his clothes every year, and Carolline didn’t feel comfortable buying clothes from street stalls.

However, Carolline would usually shop on the second and third floors of the mall. She wouldn’t take Axel to the more expensive boutique floors above. Despite visiting department stores and shopping malls, Carolline never understood why the higher the floor, the more expensive the items were.

When shopping for herself, she hardly ever visited floors above the third, unless she was accompanying her friend Mia Parker, who would occasionally buy something from those floors.

Today was different; Bryan Hawkins led them straight to the top floor using the VIP-exclusive elevator.

The top floor was vast but had no clothes for sale. It featured an open-air cafe, luxurious amusement facilities, and several beautifully decorated restaurants.

Carolline frowned and asked, "What are we doing here?" since they had just had breakfast and she couldn’t imagine they were already hungry.

"We’re going to have some drinks, and someone will bring clothes over for us later." Bryan Hawkins led his wife and child to the Open-Air Cafe, ordered coffee for himself and Carolline, and milk tea for Axel.

Carolline didn’t say anything, while Axel eyed the Gaming Zone nearby, eager to go and play. "Dad, can I go play over there?"

"Let’s pick out some clothes you like first, then you can go play," Bryan Hawkins nodded and checked the time.

Soon enough, someone arrived pushing a rolling rack filled with clothes for boys around five to six years old. Carolline looked through the fashionable and handsome selections.

Bryan Hawkins casually picked out four or five outfits, handed them to the waiting designer assistant, and asked them to take Axel to the changing room.

While they sat and waited, Bryan Hawkins and Carolline enjoyed watching Axel try on each outfit, looking like a celebrity in the process.

All the outfits were beautiful, and Carolline couldn’t find a single flaw.

Every outfit was perfect and beyond criticism.

Bryan Hawkins could tell how Carolline felt and said, "Alright, we’ll take all five of these outfits. Now, let’s try on some shoes."
