Chapter 594: Chapter 594: Gu Sheng’s Invitation (7)

In the morning, Aunt Lu and Uncle Lei went back to the villa without specifying when they would return.

"They won’t come back." So, there was no need to make a phone call. Why would anyone leave them at home without being observant?

"..." Carolline was speechless, "Alright, you go out and wait too."

Bryan Hawkins knew he couldn’t be of much help and went out first.

The dinner was simple, just a typical meal for a family of three. Axel had three bowls of green bean porridge, Carolline had two, and the rest was consumed by Bryan Hawkins alone.

They polished off all three side dishes as well.

After dinner, the three of them went for a walk. Dad walked in the middle, one hand holding the child and the other holding his wife. It was slightly different from the children walking in the middle and the couple on either side. One could sense the love between the husband and wife from their harmony.

This must be what happiness is.

When they returned home, Axel followed Bryan Hawkins to take a bath, watched TV for a while, and then was asked by Bryan Hawkins to go back to his room and take a bath at 9 o’clock. This time slot was usually Carolline’s alone time.

After taking a bath, she applied some moisturizing lotion, then went to bed and prepared to read a novel for a while. That’s when she received a phone call from Avery Graham.

"Hey, I mean, Carolline, I helped you out today as well. Are you just going to abandon me like that?" Avery whined over the phone.

After leaving Daisy Willow’s house and returning to her own, she took a nap and ended up sleeping until now. She then called Carolline directly at this time, knowing that Carolline must have already finished dinner. Poor her, she hasn’t even had dinner yet.

"Well, Miss, what do you want? You’re going to make me treat you to a late-night snack now?" Carolline replied with patience.

"Why not? By the way, did Daisy and the others buy a house today?" Avery was more concerned about when she could move in with Celia Wade.

"Yes, they bought one. They should have moved in this afternoon." Carolline guessed that by now, they should all be in their new home.

"Fine, forget about late-night snacks. You drive over and help me move now. I’m moving right away." Avery was very excited.

"Isn’t your lease not up yet? Don’t you want to live until the last day?" It was almost nine o’clock, and she was asking her to help her move. She didn’t know what that girl was thinking.

"I don’t want to live there anymore. Your house is much more comfortable. Why didn’t I think of renting your house back then?" Avery had been sulking. She wouldn’t have to deal with the landlord’s stinky attitude.

She had enough of landlords thinking they were all that just because they owned a house. They always collected rent right on time, like a clock. She was so fed up with it. She would bear the loss for the remaining few days.

"Miss, if you don’t want to live there anymore, you need to consider the time. What time is it now? Do you think moving is like Daisy and the others, just a few bags of clothes? Aren’t you afraid of being criticized?" Making a fuss at her place, then going to the Residential Area causing another ruckus. People wouldn’t think they were crazy.

"..." Avery looked at the time, "Damn, I’ve been asleep for so long? I haven’t even had dinner yet, no wonder my body feels off."

"..." Carolline was speechless, "Didn’t General Manager Wu at your house take care of you?"

"He’s on a business trip, sis. Forget it, I’ll hang up. You find some time in the next couple of days to help me move." Avery reminded her and then hung up the phone.
